Anyone seen the link doing the rounds on social media of the alleged "leaked" kit with GFH as sponsor - got to be a wind up right??

Cos he really ripped the Championship up this season (not!)

23 May 2015 19:45:45
He tore Leeds apart this season and many more teams

On the radio this morning Paul Robinson said he 'would love' to come back and play for Leeds! He was on top form before his injury and now fit again and out of contract I believe!
If Slyvestri isn't committed to the cause, PR would be a good acquisition
Any thoughts?

hope slivestri is commited as he is very very good. if no cash in for good money and could do a lot worse than PR

Everyone has their opinion - don't think it's any more than usual - MC for and against, NR for and against, FL - they all hate us, gutter press - we all hate them - that's what we do😆

Its actually a nice change for once really , considering this time a few years ago we were ALL saying the same thing ,so if cellino is at least winning some of us over ,he must be doing something right M.O.T

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed003's Note - positive news breeds positive thinking for some - I'm in the camp he's as nutty as a nutty person can be tbh.}

23 May 2015 07:10:03
Everyone knows he's mad ,but speedy made a good point on about the youngsters ,if it was bates them youngsters would have been gone for pennies but as you can see cellino is building and under gfh we wouldn't even have a football club.In my opinion ,he can be mad as he wants aslong as he's putting the club first and I really do think he's doing that.

Debate is healthy and let's face it none of us really know the truth (survivor has disappeared 😂) or what really is going on - we all have our opinions but the one thing we all have in common is - we all love Leeds United football club and want to get back to winning ways and for the club to be healthy. Some people are just never happy though - but that's life!

Has MC seen the light?

I ask the question because so far up until about two weeks ago many of his decisions in terms of staff have been pretty poor in many ways.

But now with Pearson, Uwe and this ex Liverpool sec about to join, coupled with the promise of a new recruitment guy who knows the English leagues and Uwe allowed to hire his own support with the promise of "input" into potential hires, well this is the kind of foundations you need before you start building the house (sorry team).

Remains to be seen if MC does give Uwe freedom to do what he wants and of course the time (which past history of MC says not of course) but if MC does then he will have seemed to have learnt things from his time in charge at Leeds so far, can this be true? Most of us will of course be a bit doubtful but hey I for one hope he has learnt something about the championship/English footie and he will surely be a greater owner if he listens to the odd person every now and then if he knows little about the subject.

He will also say mad things but with a solid, mature team behind him it could be a good mix. Just need 3-5 good signings now and away we go!

have to agree, really looking forward to next season. I also think some of our current players like ant and binachi to really shine next year. ant could be league top scorer well behind morrision

Guys - I too think that MC may well have seen the light and if we get another 5 or so decent players including wingers, I can see a good season for us with the play offs a distinct possibility. If Uwe is left to get on with it and work with the team then ok, I don't mind MC making daft statements (he is mad as a box of frogs)as long as he keeps away from farting about with the team.

Things are looking a bit positive. For me, the most positive sign of MC's intentions will be if we hold onto all promising youngsters - and there may be a good chance of that under Uwe. Love or hate MC, I don't believe we have had any owners over the past couple of decades who wouldn't have taken the first opportunity to cash in on them.
I don't like everything he says or does, or how he treats people - but I do believe he is doing what he believes is best for the club

First it was Pearson and then Roseler and now a new club secretary ' things aren't falling into place '.a few new quality players next and I will look forward to next season!.

I was told the new secretary has a higher goal/game ration than Morrison so you never know.

oi leave stevie 'the shift' morrision alone. in all honestly I think if he is still withus next year he will get double figures. that said I would prefer better

Agree0 Disagree0

23 May 2015 00:11:26
Morison couldn't get double figures whoever he playing with whoever the manager unless he in league two.

24 May 2015 09:48:52
He would be hard presed to get double figures if he was playing darts

There is a clue in the first interview that Uwe gave in that he was keen to join Leeds because of the squad and strong foundations NR left, every Coach/Manager has a particular style of playing and system, way of handling players and quite often the players abilities and personalities they inherited do not match the new coach ideas, so it is always a mis match and struggle from the start, However I remember Uwe commentating on ssn last season think it was Midlesboro away and remember him being enthused by what he saw particularly with the young lads so he clearly has done his homework on the squad and thinks that they fit in with his style and ideas, so in theory and on Paper it should work, Good Luck Uwe, I have a good feeling about next season, see you at ER and on the road people MOT

Can't have been the boro match? We were out played and totally out classed! Yes we won I know but if it wasn't for the keeper it would have been a hammering!!If it was that match, he must have watched it through beer goggles!
