Headlines on YEP says Lessons Learnt! I’m sorry but I’m getting fed up of this now because we don’t seem to be learning any lessons! We keep losing without learning anything, it’s time to change our style of play, it might work in the Cypriot leagues but it’s not working here, The Championship is a hard physical league, it’s about time we had players that can handle it not shy away from it!

Roofe up front on his own against three centre backs what's he's supposed to do? can you imagine Don Revie saying to sniffer your on the bench this week Mick Jones is playing up front on his own but next week Allan it's your turn to play up front on your own it just wouldn't happen, Allan Clarke his right what he said footballers win matches not systems, I can understand it away from home sometimes if you've got players like Strachan, McAllister, Bowyer, Gerrard or Lampard in your team, it's obviously a continental obsession with playing one up front where never going to steam roll teams at ER which is what we should be doing when 30,000 plus are backing you. Rant over.

From what I saw, apart from formation, wolves are playing a very similar "style" of slick passing football? And until the sending off, we were still in the game. Obviously, we are all sick of the defeats, but personally, I'm confident that all will come good under TC. MOT!

On the plus side, great to have BW back I’ve certainly missed ya fella back to tonight’s game (controversy warning) I never truly expected anything from tonight but beat Barnsley and that’s a great return for me. Viera was rash but he’s young and I want him playing all the time so he doesn’t make that same mistake again. But as much as I do like Lonergan we definitely need a new keeper in Jan we can rely upon (BW, ex goalie called it) but it’s NOT for me a plan B, C we’re just not ready yet to compete with the likes of Wolves. So long as they fight for the shirt, I thought they did in the main then we will be ok, and if it’s not this year, I’m a patient man and supporting Leeds May be challenging at times, but then again I support LEEDS 😊

Curahee. As much as I would like too agree. The stats for the game just before vieras red. Was 50/50 % possession with a very similar shots 9/8 to wolves and on target was 4/3 to wolves so with that in mind . It seemed an even enough game until off course going down too 10 men. We also wer on top after making it 2-1 with a great goal by alioski . so not the doom n gloom the score line suggests. Onwards we go. MOT. there is always the next game. 👍👍⚽️⚽️😃

Possession Doesn't mean anything if you're two down after 30mins against top of the league. Great we can pass a ball between us as much as them, but when you have to the score
TWO just to get even it means very little! We all know that wolves are almost a certainty to go up. just from talking to the fans I know, I've worked out that wolves like to play in space and are very good at finding it, so surely you don't play against them with an open midfield and 4 forwards! You keep the space they have to a minimum! I'm with woody. Lessons just aren't being learnt, yes we won against borough, but we're hanging on by a thread. Yorkshire derby next, which we are notoriously bad in and then villa! I am getting more concerned by the day! The table is so tight we could find ourselves in deep trouble over Christmas if we don't starting learning lessons and thinking about how the opposition play more carefully

Agree Cura, I posted yesterday saying we need a defensive performance to prevent damaging the back 4. Any confidence picked up on sunday is lost and the team need a major refreshing. At this rate we are middle of the pack. Carry on this way we will have roughly 60 points by the end of the season, usually play offs is a minimum 75, way off the mark. Forget playing well if its not winning you games. Need a new ST, and GK, would argue that shaugnessy needs to play a lot more too but cooper won't be moved out of the side now that he's captain, ridiculous decision at the start of the season

Agree2 Disagree4

23 Nov 2017 08:48:39
Batty is right. The stats., including shots had us equal early in the 2nd half and it looked like we were starting to pick up. You would expect a good side to dominate at home in the first 20-30 minutes of a match. The sending off was a major blow but I’m sure he’ll learn and we need him back in the team after his auto ban.

Agree4 Disagree0

23 Nov 2017 10:55:27
Exactly manston ! that's my point, you know they'll dominate the first half an hour, so set up to reflect this! Don't pray you'll hang on for the first part then maybe get a sniff! Smother then, and then grow into the game! I'm not claiming to know the answers, I'm praying for common sense to be used at some point this season.

Normal service has resumed! Embarrassing! I can’t see any way out of this form, we are far to weak in so many areas, we have lost that passion and they are playing like they don’t know what to do! After so much hope tonight just underlines how far we are away from going up, terrible and very disappointed!

Believable4 Unbelievable9

23 Nov 2017 07:10:53
Agree completely, i'm concerned that we have to play all of these teams again, hopefully, and we are saying hopefully too much, but hopefully, losing the first tie will bull us up to go and win the second. Nice try TC but playing fancy sexy barcelona play requires spending a lot of money on another 3/4 players on an equal ability to samu, and we haven't got that.

Once upon a time Leeds and Celtic were European giants. Now look at us. Celtic 7-1 down to a French team and us 4-1 down to a Portugese team.

22 Nov 2017 21:57:15
😂. That’s quite funny, shame they had our pants down for the first half, cause we came out fighting in the second until the obvious 🙄onwards and upwards ( we can’t afford to keep going south😬) . They had some quality periods and to have £13 mil worth of player on the bench just outlines the differences- but I still think we will beat em next time. MOT keep smiling and keep the faith.

Finishing work at 12 to drive down to wolves to watch this is embarrassing. Beradi and lonergen absolutely shocking, we have known Taylor was leaving for a ye and done nothing to replace him, we let green go and he's 5 times the keeper lonergen is, we let wood go and replace with a loan player. they were just far to good. we were lucky to only be 2-0 at ht

We were getting into it batty, they started giving the ball away, there crowd were getting edgy, viera and Phillips both came out very aggressive 2nd half, unfortunately viera flew into one too many, just as he was really getting into the game. individual mistakes were our downfall tonight, we have gifted them 3 goals.

Wolves away was always going to be a tough match. Sounds like the performance in the second half was leading somewhere before the red card which changed the game. Dust ourselves down and move on. It happens. I'd like to think that we have a run of fixtures in the next seven games that should return us to the play-offs. Barnsley (A) Villa (H) , QPR (A) , Norwich (H) , Hull (H) , Burton (A) Birmingham (A) . Yes a lot of away games there but I sometimes feel this team does better on the road without the pressure of home. Vila is tough but the rest are all lower league opposition. If we are not in the play-offs by end of the next month then I think we need a hard look at Christensen

Team for this evening: Wolves are very attacking and have great wide players, and currently the leagues top scorer. For us we need a defensively sound performance and plenty of pace on the break. Its a tough one to call, i think there may be one or two changes from the side. Despite hernandez's best game all year on sunday, I don't think TC will want him to start as he is old and will tire easy having to track back, and that is when he performs at his worst. You could probably expect to see dallas start there IMO, or possibly even Roofe as he's quick. Lonergan, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Berardi, Vieira, Shaugnessy/Anita, Phillips, Saiz, Roofe, Dallas IMO. 4-3-3 with Shaugnessy or anita as a holding midfield player to cover ground. Saiz and Dallas on the wings and Roofe up front. This team could work hard and run for 90 against their front line and probably compete. With Plillips, Roofe, Saiz, and Dallas, we should have enough going forward to maybe nick one? then i could see the likes of alioski, sacko, hernandez or ekuban coming on for more of an attacking threat depending on the scoreline. big defensive performance needed tonight, coops needs to lead, and the other 3 at the back need to protect lonergan as i'm still a bit unsure about his ability to catch. Anybody disagree?

Does anyone have any insight or info on the "mass brawl" which led to the abandonment of the U23's friendly against Rhyll, yesterday? No doubt the FA will have us kicked out of the league as a result! ?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

22 Nov 2017 17:11:31
Don't know the ins and outs but to read the comments from the Rhyl fans it seems they are ashamed of their team. It seems as though they were trying to rough up the young Leeds kids and when one of us went in hard they did't like it, took umbrage, and fists started flying. So much for a "friendly"

22 Nov 2017 13:53:26
i worked on champ manager, i was the millwall expert/researcher which i think is funny as f""k! if you look on 2016/17 xmas update i am credited on game. for me players who stand out as all time greats are eric nevland, marc bircham, nicolas tagfalico, barabosa, luis muriel and more recently moise kean, pinamonti. sadly i am no longer the millwall expert i passed it onto a mate who genuinly supports millwall sadly

hello all, not been on here as lost password and technically useless plus busy with kids and work. hope all are well? and knew you would all need to know my thoughts on season so far (of course you do) recruitment was good overall, saiz looks great and is a match winner who can do something out of nothing which we ain't had since mccormack, all others also look good apart from keepers, felix is no better than slivestri (who i did like) and lonergan was pony 1st time round who brought him back? other than keepers we have moved forward, also think cooper looks like a new better player when alongside better defenders, that said pontus has been found out slitghly when not opposite batrley who was my player of the season last year jury out on manager wanted him gone (always first on here to call for blood) as he can't change things and i think we have great players so should be top 4 this said he had a break and the players worked for him and fixed it so hopefully that will continue finallky glad to hear yeboha is well, never been one for names on bsck of shirt as i'm old school but he was the only player whoes name i did have on my back he was class

I would be upset, not devastated, if we came away with nothing tonight. But what would really hurt is a poor performance. The Boro game pointed the way forward, now we should retain, and build, on that pace and commitment. Yes, I think I could live with "unlucky to lose" headlines but not "a shambles". Not too sure about a shambles and a 2-0 win?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

22 Nov 2017 13:53:12
Sorta lost me there leodis. Never mind lad. George does it all the time. I don't like being unlucky. I think you can be unlucky with the break of a ball or official decisions but generally unlucky means lots of possession but no idea what to do with it or 400 shots. 1 on target. 0. Goals. To me. You win or you lose.
