I just don't think Dexter Blackstock is the answer. at all. Only smarties have the answer. Last bagged against us in late December or something. not what we need.

All you lot moaning about blackstock were the same fans slating matt smith few week back he's this and that now he scored a couple you pretend like you never got on his back just get behind the players that put on that white shirt.

Has anyone else noticed Varney was not in squad on Sunday and not played in game tday. I wonder if he's had a injury or maybe on his way out. This would explaine the Blakstock deal. All though I think Blackstock will prove to be a very good signing if it comes off.i no we have been after a striker for a bit, But Matt smith will be hard to budge on that form held the ball up well and scored 2 good goals. I have a feeling we have seen the last off Diouf for a while If not period.
in the new formation you need players who have a bit off pace. Sadley Diouf lost that a long time ago.

Diouf was playing due to him asking for compassionate leave which has been granted, I think his mentor is either very ill or recently died so that is why he was not in the squad.

Good job your not the manager then isn't it tell me who else is available that will do a better job than blackstock and come on be realistic now most of the names mentioned by are fans on this site are way out of are price range

We need depth to are squad don't you realise that in a league like this one you need options for when players like smith get injuries or have a loss of form in mcdermott I trust.

Yeh, let's give blackstock a chance eh, he might fit in well at leeds and might want to prove himself as he is not getting in at forest much MOT!

Can't say that Blackstock excites me. He has a very mediocre scoring record, so it's difficult to see what he will bring to the party (apart from adding to the squad size). This seems like a signing for a signings sake.

Ross will move wide in my opinion and smith an blackstock upfront. could make sense

If he was going to sign a plater for sake of it he would of done ir ages ago annoys me when people judge before they have played. Everyone slated smith then he scored twice and now he's the answer he's not gna score 2 gos everyweek. i'm glad he scorsd and he will get a run now but everyone are hip.ocrits

Come on.im the worst for saying we lack pace and quality and going nowhere,
but give blackstock a chance.i think he could turn out to be a decent signing. ok he's not top top quality but he certainly can't be any worse than hunt and varney at sticking the ball in the net.

Totally agree mate. And at least it will stop blackstock scoring against us! As he always does when played! Will be a good signing in my view. Him and smith. Swapping about so we always have one of them fit ideally.
