Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Does no nobody else think that after MCs comments about Sam being aloud to go in January, that he is now wanting him to play in his best position to bump up his transfer fee?
After all playing badly in midfield or not playing at all will have reduced his value.
Ooh I love a conspiracy theory me! 😈
Also I hope Evans had a good reason for not bringing Mowatt on last night. I'm concerned that our best player of last season will lose even more confidence if he thinks Evans doesn't rate him. I don't think Roslers system suited him and hopefully he'll give him a chance to get his form back.

Think Sams playing because he is the best right back we have if on form, Mowatt needs to start playing football again if he wants to get in team, right call to bench him in my opinion.

Agree bige
Think mowatt needs to lose a bit of weight too!
Good team selection. Get rid of silv. Get mowatt fit and give sloth a chance and see where we at?

Totally agree Bige. Hope Mowatt takes Sams performance last night as a good example.

Not getting carried away speedie I think evens will make us a team no one wants to play against, good old fashioned in your face stuff with flair and a good mix of toughness. I for one would still like to see us bring Danial Bentley in because our no:1 is a week spot for us.

I agree Martyn, in particular the keeper bit. It's all well and good potentially having a great keeper in The Vest but he's got a hell of a lot of improving to do yet!

'Their goalkeeper is perhaps the difference and I'm not going to say we deserved two other penalties. But I'ge looked at them and we should have had two other penalties. ' Hmmmm Steve Evans you have my attention .

First time I have been looking forward to the next game for ages, just seems to be a different feel to the club with Evans there, no nonsense up and at em, get stuck in and give it your best . A bit more like real football ( let's get rid of the prima-donnas ) of old . This might be just what was needed . You are only as good as your last game.

Agree. Let's not get carried away after 1 game, and I admit SE would not have been my first, second, or probably 100th choice. But got the lads playing with passion and showing some commitment, which has been sadly lacking. And playing Sam in his proper position - which has been a no brainer for months and months.
I'm definitely prepared to give him a chance.

Steve Evans - stroke of genius! Seriously he may be what is needed in the short term - till end of the season to get the best out of what we currently have. He seems the type of guy who could get the best out of someone like Erwin when he comes back. And you know what, his substitutions last night made sense and when was the last time we sad that about a Leeds manager.

Good result and played really well with lots of passion. Says how well we were when the home supporters started booing their own team. Byram looked his old self continually getting forward down the right wing and troubling the Fulham defence. Still faults with Silvestri should have saved from Dembele that's a problem for Evens to sort out. Could have won the game in the dieing minutes with a fine effort from Antenucci but for a great save from the stand in keeper. Though they did put us under a lot of pressure at the very end but we held out for a diserved point. Looking forward to Saturday if we play with as much passion we should get all 3 points.

Steve Evans looks to have done alright judging by the highlights. Shame about the Fulham goal and the reffing but I think we did well.

More attempts on goal finally.

Gonna get a ticket for Hudderfield!

1 all draw, away from home, mid week and after being 1 down, take that every day of the week.

An away point when we are hovering above the relegation zone isn't too bad. Having researched the salad dodger's background, he has an impressive record of getting teams up. Hopefully an upturn of results before the transfer window can persuade the youngsters to stay and make us a more attractive proposition for potential new recruits. In my opinion, we need a few experienced lads in for the second half to give the young players a chance to develop and maybe make a late ply off push.

You see I told you all Stevie Boy would come good lol!

Seriously though, 16 attempts at goal away from home and the majority of possession - when was the last time we recorded stats like that? The latest water melon must be doing something right.

I'm not one to say I told you so (tongue is firmly in cheek), but I always new Stevie the sweaty sock would be the man for us!

Incidentally why do we all think Cellino refers to manager's as water melons? Does it have anything to do with Uwe's head and Stevie's six pack?
