I do not believe that Sam Byram, had any intension of signing a new contract! He and his agent believe he can make it in the premier league, now and he will move on! Time will tell, if one he can command a starting place, and two if he can keep his place in a prem club? On his contract he was offered, by Leeds, we can only listen to rumours, nothing as been proven, what was or wasn't offered! But you can bet on his return to ER in the opposing colours, the cry of one Greedy Bar steward, will go up!

I think that's a tad unfair. Everyone has ambition and wants to be the best they can
He won't be the best he can playing against mk and the like!
If Leeds want to keep what they got. They need to be in prem!
Hope Taylor and cook hang about for a year or two to see if we can make it. If we don't. Good luck to them and Byram.
It's not any of their fault the club has been run by morons for so long!
As long as we get a big transfer fee and sell on. Then that is their thank you for training me in the youth set up. Good luck to them all.

Totally agree with Ausman, we need to stop dissing young players who have ambitions. We are all wanting the Premiership but that takes moneya and sometimes you need to sell to release the funds.

I agree Aussie. Sam wants to go, but I don't blame him or bear him any ill will. Good luck to him. I know he is still young, but he has given us good service, and of course he wants to play in the prem. You are totally correct about the others too. Our chances of holding on to them are simply to get promotion ourselves!

As I have said before if somebody walked up to you and offered to double or treble your wages what would you do?
It's been on the cards for a while that Sam will go and please he is a young man ,he will have an agent telling him of the riches and potential rewards to come.
Not happy that now Pearson has left normal M C service resumed somebody please advise him to wash the dirty laundry in private .
We love your passion M C but to the media you are a sitting duck and they can not wait to air your comments of which we have to remember can be edited .
I have always said and still believe M C wants the best for Leeds and is very clever ,but there are times when comments made potentially undermine other persons and these may return to bite in the future .
During Pearson's time there has been no reports or story's about ownership etc could this be have been the fact that he is known to the Fl and is trusted?
Advice M C cash in on Sam spend good money on another cb /ch one with championship experience .

i can see both sides here but everyone is missing one big point. is sam up for playing in prem? on form for the last year maybe two years answer is no he is championship player at best. He would not make my leeds team at the minute. good players who deserve prem get brought. players who are not good enough leave on frees then do not make the grade. Happens every year and has ruined more players than it has made. sam needs to think about how good he is and what history will suggest will happen to him

At present Byram is not in my 12 either
But until late last year our best player and I have to say has shown glimpses of talent all be it brief, this year
His head is turned. So time to go and spend all that dosh wisely mc or same thing will happen with cook and Taylor!

Agree Aus on present form neither Sam or Alex N would be starting 11 ,funny Murphy not in form of late as well .
Beradi and Taylor have been most consistent on field players for me and Dallas has done well, others on, off .
Wood has done well and looks to be getting fitter with a few games under his belt .
I would like to see whether the wizard is all huff and puff or not.
