Strange but when Warnock was at Sheffield he was sub crazy. Now he only makes them right at the end of a game! Good point today though even if we really should of had 3. Think we will make top 6 but only if Brighton start slipping up like they did previous seasons. MOT

Believable2 Unbelievable8

We can still do it. Why warnock fails to use subs I don't know?

Agree2 Disagree0

It's since the Watford game when he did them all in one go, only for Austin to get injured-its affected him!

lets not get ourselves down folks still everything to play for we need to get behind the boys I do believe we could of got more from the game what we got something still a lot to play for!
least we're picking up point at the crucial part of the season wasn't a couple of games ago people were talking relegation dog fight now we know we have something to play for bearly optimistic but i'm optimistic nevertheless! work your magic neil! get behind the manager because is what we are stuck with till the end if the season like it or not! MOT only be negative when we know there's no hope because it does none of us any favours!

Believable11 Unbelievable8

Cant see why you disagree is it because your a negative fan that wants to be negative for the sake of been negative! lol

disappointing we didn't win, but that was a good point today, blackburn are decent at home, he should stick with that team.

Believable10 Unbelievable4

There is a clear improvement from the team as seen from the last two matches as a good win against Blackpool and a draw against a team coming off from an arsenal win and a quality midfielder had joined them in David Bentley and we defended against him easy enough. Our last 14 games should be mostly wins as from the fixture list I can only see 3 tricky games to. E honest, Leicester, crystal palace and Watford the rest look like 3 pointers so we should be getting playoffs if we play well with the same sort of team and put away our chances mot kent white

Agree9 Disagree7

I instantly disagreed with you but looking at the fixtures its not a bad run in, last home game against brighton to clinch a place in the playoffs in front of a full house at ER would be awsome.

This was a decent performance and a couple of months ago this would have been a good result.
But the performances v wolves, boro and Barnsley mean we have to win games so our play off chances hang by a thread.
Shame Ross can't finish, with becchio they would be in the net, that's the diff. shrew Leeds

23 Feb 2013 18:01:00
I don't think that's a bad result today. Keep the faith guys. 2 clean sheets in a row and 4 points from 6 isn't bad. Slowly but surely we are getting there

Believable9 Unbelievable4

23 Feb 2013 17:31:32
Would have taken that. 2 positive results and performances can't stop thinking about the 12th of match to the 27th of April, with this team playing and warnock picking it! I reckon we could win all those games in that period? Mot

On my way back from Ewood Park, gutted with that result we deserved so much more! We played really well today, and this new system seems to be working, so unfortunate not to get the 3 points though really deserved them! I thought Michael Tonge was exceptional today, never really rated him but since he's been back in the side we've been solid in midfield! Well done Leeds United for another clean sheet!

Next step to win back us fans Warnock, make some subs please!

Come on Leeds let's carry on this run!

Problem with subs especially in attack who have we got? Hall? Habadabadoo? Would love to see poleon the bench to come on in the last 30 mins with pace etc but he is not available!

Agree1 Disagree0

"Would love to see poleon the bench to come on in the last 30 mins with pace etc but he is not available!"

Yes he is available, he's a Leeds signed player.

But unfortunately Neil would rather he help the blunts in THEIR promotion campaign, rather than help his OWN team!

Wake up Neil, you are Leeds United's manager, not Sheffield United's!

We have to accept that we are not nearly good enough for promotion or even the top six. We cannot win away against even the poorest opposition. Blackburn were another poor team and whilst we dominated possession it was Blackburn who came nearest to scoring. McCormack is poor when playing in the championship. He missed a sitter against Middlesborough when it was still nil apiece. Missed another today. Scoring great goals in the FA cup is no substitute. Warnock could not read the game and failed to bring on any subs to change the it as far as our attacking options were concerned. He has taken all season to work out the best midfield but creativity in the final third and consistent striking power is still missing. I Hope the owners bring in a decent young manager quickly to build for next year otherwise all the next games will be meaningless. Have said from day one that Warnock was not going to be our saviour and that's how its proved to be. No point talking about still having 14 games to go we are just not good enough.

Believable15 Unbelievable16

While it's mathematically possible I won't accept we can't get into the play offs, I say keep going and get behind the team, stop the negativity, while there's points to play for were in with a chance.

Agree10 Disagree5

All the top sides in this division are dropping points to so called lesser teams, the chance of the play offs is still there, is this the same poor team who just beat the gunners?, its a good point and clean sheet away from home, there's IS still a lot of points to play for, we are looking like a good side now, bit more luck in last few games and they would all have been wins, have a bit of faith FFS,

Agree3 Disagree4

The championship is poor not just us. Every chance of play offs, stop being so bloody negative. Sounds like, like a few fans you just want to say you were right about warnock all along. Were as i'm more interested in the team doing well. The season is NOT over and there is still everytihng to play for especially if we can get a decent winger to give Macca and Morison more chances. Keep the faith MOT

McCormack is a good player he doesn't really have a bad game performance work rate wise. The chance against Middlesbrough wasn't a sitter it was a narrow angle and Woodgate stopped it on the line. Todays chance that he missed was just nerves from the team not winning away. He should of put it on target though.
Warnock as finally got the team gelled together and goals and wins will come. I feel he should stay another season if we can keep putting in a performance for rest of season.
Warnock should of brought hall and habibou on while we was so on top but he didn't and I don't know why he didn't at least bring diouf on for 15 min. Maybe he thought we could win without risking injury to any other squad member. His team selection today was good and deserved a win. 29 points to playoffs

23 Feb 2013 19:40:49
but the fact is we are only 6 points off the play-offs, I know that's not were we would have choose to be a the beggining of the season but its a lot better than it could be! Wins at home and a few away wins and a bit of luck we won't be too far off. Maybe i'm a bit deluded but I still think were in with a shot

Agree2 Disagree3

6 points off play-offs with what 13 games to go or something? and a game in hand over the 2 teams above us take it easy remember were only one point above that poor opposition your talking about

if I was a bookie i'd love all you people in my shop putting your hard earned on leeds to get in the playoffs. I expect leeds to finnish with 60 to 65 points well short. the team is average at best. they need to get 7 points better including goal difference than at least 2 teams that are flying at the moment. gaz1966

I think Neil is putting all his experience and know how to good use, he's saying that our chance of play offs has gone therefore taking any pressure off the players and you know what happens when you play football without pressure, and us fans can help let's not put to much pressure on them let them play football without pressure, remember man city last season that's what can happen when players play without pressure.

There is 45 points to grab out of the remaining games to go. Stop with all the negativity, we still have a great chance off playoffs, if we could win 8 of them draw afew and loose the rest we would be right up there. Personally I think nw has done a good job since he has taken over with the squad he had. Just sum more deadwood to get rid off now. Also come on guys we win 2 games in a row and every1 saying where going to be promoted, loose 2 and every1 is asking for warnoks head And saying the team are crap. KEep it real. MoT

Looking forward to today's game, I feel really optimistic following a great performance midweek which in my opinion has been coming for a few weeks now. Our performances have not been reflected in the score line. Fingers crossed we can put some results together away from home. 3-4 wins on the bounce and we will be right up there.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

I can see us winning this as no changes made by neil, this game could really kick start our playoff push. Appleton knows how great they are and admitted he would love Blackburn to be as loud as elland road. I can sense huge option thought the whole club from the manager to the fans and most importantly the players mot 2-1 to the mighty whites

Its funny how all your opinions have changed.
First alf of the season Austin was the new star everyone loved him. Whilst poor old Varney developed quite a bit of dislike from everyone.
Now things have changed a bit!

Hope Austin finds some form again, but the team v Blackpool looked quite classy.
Heres to the play-offs! {Ed013's Note - That's football for you}

Believable11 Unbelievable3

Sorry mate Austin was not my favourite and never will be. He's a carthorse and it appears Warnock has finally twigged. JD

I would of thought we will get around 5 points out of the next 4 games. I think we will beat millwall and probably get a draw from palace and Blackburn and lose to Leicester . This would mean we would be on our last legs this season so anything better will be fantastic

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I reckon beat mill black draw Leicester lose to palace 7

Agree1 Disagree4

Seems like more doom and gloom talk to me "on our last legs" We still have a good/realistic chance of making the play offs, can we please show some optimism and throw our support behind the team.

Agree4 Disagree4

Not doom and gloom. Just chit chat, banter and opinion. Just as you are entitled to your op

I think we will get a draw against Millwall and lose the rest.

I think we will win all 4 games score 12 goals and won't conceed any. the bulldog

I think we will win all four. That is if NW keeps the same team or perhaps changes varney for Diouf.
