hi ed, i vist this site regular for rumour's and all things leedsutd. this evening i visted the site and link appeared saying i was the site's 100,000 vistor and i had won a prize are u aware of this and is it genuine please reply {Ed013's Note - You must be very lucky as we have over that in a day! The Boss said you can have a Toy Story Lucky bag!}

Over 100k in a day that's pretty impressive I reckon I visit 20+ a day see wats going on. RT {Ed013's Note - The 100,000 thing was an advert}

I know was an advert ed a dodgy one at that but u replied saying that we get over that in a day bout the 100k thought u meant RT {Ed013's Note - The whole site I meant}

As a Leeds fan I feel we shoot ourselves in the foot with our optimism. I'm not here to dampen anyone's parades about a potential takeover happening but from what I've seen from our club over the last few years I've learnt to take each day as it comes. We link OUR club with players over and over again to see them go just out of our grasp. Us Leeds fans have been crying out for a change for a long time now. With the rumours circling over a potential takeover I would urge all Leeds United fans to keep grounded. If this takeover doesn't happen, it wont be the be all and end all. We will stand up and be LOUD and PROUD next season regardless.

Totally agree. something big is going on behined the scenes, no doubt about that. But if nothing does come of it(which im really hoping is not the case) i will still be at er next season supporting our boys.

this is not a FACT and i dont have any SOURCES as i have previously stated a million times, this is my own opinion, takeover is happening and whoever we bring in either a 37 year old has been freebie or even lionel messi, i will wear my white/blue/black shirt with pride next season and follow the mighty whites.. i have 100% belief in our manager and so should everybody. you dont achieve 8 promotions by luck!

No truer words said, in fact best post in ages. Sick of hearing about fake takeovers and the amazing signings we're getting. at the end of the day we're Leeds fans and always will be.

i pesonally believe this takeover/investment is already done but there just delaying announcing it because when other clubs find out they will want much more for thier players. BRING ON NEXT SEASON !!!!

I hope you're right mate but why are we still shopping on the bargain basement?

To keep up the speculations and keep down the prices. If takeover was'nt on the cards, even bates would of come out and said its only investment, stop getting nickers in a twist. Everyone knows, he loves to shoot us down in flames and squosh are dreams.
I see big things happening soon. So lets all sit back and try to enjoy the ride.

These Bargin basements we are getting are just making the squad stronger, when the takeover is done the better players will be bought and Green + the likes will be squad players MOTForever

I thought Warnock spoke about long term future and exciting arrivals.
So we have Clayton 23 up for sale and we are bringing in Green 29 and Norris 31?
If we have loads of money from a takeover/investment where are the long term signings?

Well if we have loads of money we are better off bringing in the experience needed to get us promoted and then spend big on the future. i think we might see some younger players come in this season for fees at the moment we are getting free players

Clayton vanished in a lot of games under Warnocks style of football, so i cant see him being THAT much of a huge loss

Long term security mean bringing in as much money as possible so getting in to the premier league is top priority

ON another site, this morning, someone mentions getting an email from the club YESTERDAY asking about late renewal of his season ticket way past the main late deadline. Now I hope I'm wrong, but maybe this takeover / investment is a bit of scam. We have much lower than usual season ticket sales - ON top of the dismal home performances, Ken realises that it's also due to him and his lack of investment in the club - so the club throws out rumours of possible huge financial backing and get some freebies into the squad - and hope to increase applications for season ticket holders? The only thing which would make me think this isn't true is the sheer audacity of such a lie and LUST's seemingly in the know stance. But still, i would say, if you have the option to renew the season ticket you previously weren't - don't do it because you think this takeover will happen. Cos it might not. Wait untill it is 100 percent confirmed, fellow Leeds supporters.

YEP are reporting this morning that we are back in for Portsmouth's Varney and Norris. Considering that they won't cost the earth maybe they would be good acquisitions?
However, if a takeover was imminent with substantial investment in playing staff, would the club be looking at different options? Like everyone else, hating the silence! (congrats Ed013 on your latest squad acquisition). Walsall White. {Ed013's Note - Cheers pal}

So...3 weeks after the deafening silence began to echo round the hallowed halls of Elland Road, what do we know so far?
1. We know that we have signed 3 players, one coming with a transfer fee. We know that so far they are 3 positive signs for the future.
2. We know that something is going on as cuddly Ken is not used to keeping his counsel or not going on the offensive.
3. That, my fellow whites seems to be about it. No firm evidence yet of (in alphabetical order) American, Arab, Canadian, French or German or even Martian interest in our beloved club.
4. We maintain hope of good news, but I sincerely hope that the only interruption of Ed's sleep is his new born son. {Ed013's Note - Lots of interruption in that regards!}

Just my feeling and thinking lads, Carn't vowch for everyone. If this is what we're all hopeing for, the real shineing light,beyond exstacy, life changeing takeover. Without a single credible lead on who,what,when.
Then these people are no small fry and i see only good times ahead. This is the changeing of the guard. A time to rejoice and sing loud. Marching On Togeather!
I just hope my theory becomes a reality.
