Does anyone have any information as to which senior players have claimed they no longer want to play under Cellino. I really hope it isn't the players who did a similar thing this time last year.

Doubt it will be the Italians refusing to play under Cellino.

my source said messi, ronaldo, vardy and heart have all refused to play over the last week.

we don't know people have refused to play again this could be paper talk. also I believe it is SE who the alleged problem it is with not MC as stated OP.

Guys unless I have proof you kinda know this stuff is made up because it is us and it is easy to say almost anything negative and people will just lap it up.

Of course we always get these stories after a defeat, you can predict the random stories just go into overdrive and it just gets a bit boring.

If it is true then it seems our squad doesn't want to play for anyone as they have history doing this type of thing before (well they may have done that) , if that the case says more about the players than SE.

Re SE if he gets to end of season around 10-12th place and results in line with expectations then unless we can get in a "class" coach (unlikely) we may as well back him, get 4-5 players he needs and at least have a stable start to season, a well though out approach to how we want to play and give him to Xmas at least (unless we haven't won in 10 games or something like that) .

I just feel if we change for the sake of it gets us nowhere, if I was MC and it was my money I know who I would be speaking to for advice. people who have been successful in running a club and managers who have been successful as my way (as in MC's) clearly is average at best, if it was my cash I would not want to keep wasting it doing a "groundhog day" approach.

DG when you say "We may as well back him" who are you refering to.

As fans I think we will back him, of course there will be a percentage that want him out, but all I crave for is some consistency, in the management team and the results.

However if you are referring to MC I don't think there is much chance that he won't tinker again. We would be stable and the roller coster ride start again. SE's contract runs out at the end of the season and if MC can get a (in his opinion) better coach he will try. It makes Cellino financial sense than to, extend and then sack after 10 or so games.

I'm so sick to my back teeth of the merrygoround that lufc faces year in year out. Employing managers, sacking managers, players revolting, revolting players, paying off managers, Cellino doing his media best of making us look like laughing stocks, players on the books that noone wants, players that don't want to come to our club, this appeal, that appeal, losing the youth as we are going nowhere fast. on and on it goes. One common theme is Cellino himself. Why doesn't he take the helm and have done with it? We have no money to spend as he is having to pay off all these managers (the ones he's sacked) . Now he is shrewd enough to only give them a rolling contract. Also fighting appeal after appeal. The man is a walking disaster.
All of the above whilst we have to watch minnow clubs taking better players and being run more efficiently. Having to see clubs we were once competing against in the Premier league such as Leicester and Southampton doing well.
It all leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and the longer it goes on I am losing patience with the way our club is being run. I really hope someone comes and saves us soon and not see us as a cashcow or a quick buck.

Well I'm sure there's no one on here that will disagree with all that Liverlass. I know it's been said many times, but I just don't understand why we haven't been bought by someone with mega bucks. Outside the top few teams in the Premiership, surely we are one of the few clubs with genuine potential, mainly because of the fan base. I know people will say well what about all the problems with GFH etc. There's an easy way to make them go away. Money!

the manager sacking is not just leeds it is part of the modern game, how many sackings have taken pace this year they are not all just leeds? also can't see where the losing the youth comment has come from this is the first time in over 15 years that we are not offloading all of our youngesters for peanuts. Agree MC needs to stay away from media for everyones sake and would like more soild manager choices but to be fair his choices have got better over time and as I said we are not alone in the choping and changing. We are where we are but things are better than they were so don't worry be happy and always look on the bright side of life.

i think the reason no one has brought us is foresight. people with mega money, chealsea, man city ect. have either made their money or been given it at birth either way they want an easy fix hence the clubs they buy. people who would have interest in leeds are people looking for a project or looking to build way up and people looking to do that don't have enough money. be honest if you won euro lotto of say 300 mill and was looking to invest would you go for leeds? I wouldn't other than as a fan, their are many clubs who seem a better buy sadly. also with fair play and what not can you throw money at leeds? (that is genuine question as I don't understand it nor the embargos and pentalys teams seem to get i. e qpr)

Liver
You are spot on
Speedy
No-one wants to buy us for 3 reasons.
1 because we don't own our ground
2 because attempting to buy it back is shrouded in fraud cover up shrink wrapped in an enigma
3 FL have it in for us
These reasons put off a buyer especially a billionaire.

According to Phil Hay one hundred million will not be enough to sort out our beloved Leeds United.

Phil Hay correct but hardly a shock.
The cancer which is GFH want 40m to clear off.
Ground and Academy is now a similar price.
Other serviceable debts and expected debts from court cases, fines and costs 10m
Necessary player investment 20m

So that's 110m. Hay being a little harsh as not much more needed but highly doubt Cellino will part with that.

We are all talking about the manager, but you cannot build a promotion team without the right ingredients . In the last ten managers we have had there have been some good managers but they just have not had a good enough squad, All our good players have been sold and are all playing in the prem or promotion chasing sides . There in lies the problem. We need serious investment in the playing staff 6 or 7 really quality players to go with the best of what we have . Another point, to rest the success of our team on the shoulders of some young players learning their trade is not the right way to go about it. Our senior professionals should be the ones carrying the team and leading the way, not leaving it to the 17, 18 and 19 year olds, who do need to be rested or they will be crocked by the mid 20's.

As much as I hate to say it we need to look at Sheff Wed and the players they have bought this season. They have managed to get the right mix of decent cheap european talent and blended that with squad players from premiership clubs who are used to this league and a few youngsters to give them experience. We have bought a lot of european players but without the players who are used to playing in this country we have struggled. I think we need to look at the squads of the teams who go up this season and look to get the players who don't make their 25 man premiership squad (or however many it is) . Even if it is on loan we get players who have some english experience.
