ed may I ask why there is no agree or disagree button on the leeds banter page? {Ed003's Note - They were removed from because people would just disagree for the sake of it even on sensitive issues across all the sites which then ended up with posters whinging.They basically were causing grief mate.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sorry Ed just an idea but is it possible at all to write a programme whereby only registered users can click on the either disagree or agree buttons and also when hovering over the buttons it shows who clicked which button allowing people to see who clicked what therefore on sensitive issues people will be able to take note of the troublemakers and not be bothered if people are trolling

Just a thought? {Ed001's Note - possible but a lot of trouble to go through for something of so little real importance. What we are looking to do is just have the buttons as an option for those putting up a post. So you have to check a box to have them on your post, that way they will only be on your post if you choose to have them. That should cut down on the trolls who click disagree on posts from people giving sympathy regarding a tragedy etc.}

Fair enough

Couldn't care less what the strip is like, as long as we play well in it.

this rumour that if right price comes in for sam byram we should take it! my thoughts are yes with what we have got coming through academy but! got to be a very very big price for us to let him go I mean massive price fed up with letting our star quality go for peanuts! mot nickybee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont care how much is offered, he wants to play for Leeds so he has to stay

Agree0 Disagree0

Deja vu, only when we were talking like this last year it was about a certain scottish winger

I must say that the new kit is terrible! It looks cheap and tacky, I thought the Italians were supposed to be stylish!
The home shirt should be all white with blue trim.
It's like Real Madrid have a massive stripe down the middle truly awful!

Best kit ever was the 1997 (I think), very classy, high collar with LUFC inscripted on the left side (alla 70's).
What are your thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Please just plain white, with a normal collar and tiny yellow and blue trim. one day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op here. I thnk those days a re gone looking around the kits nowadays. such a shame

it would of been better with either thin blue vertical stripes I mean very thin or a wider section blue.
the kit just looks strange as if they have taken a perfectly good top and thrown some blue stripes on it.
could of done a white shirt with a deep horizontal blue stripe across the chest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing wrong with the new kit, looks top

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, should definitely be plain white with modest blue or yellow trim. Should also be worn away, with change strip only used when there's a colour clash. We are Leeds after all, and the reason Don Revie chose it in the first place is just as relevant today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares? We changed our colours under Mr Revie to all white to emulate Madrid. We have changed our badge numerous times over the decades. One thing never changes. WE ARE LEEDS.! C;mon let's next season we all try to make an effort to get to ER as its annoying when smaller clubs totally kill our attendances!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think it was solely down to smaller clubs with our attendances, it has been steadily dropping over the past 6 or 7 seasons with a massive drop this season under NW. You can't blame the board either at least they have tried with the paint it white campaign and special reductions but their hands are tied because of season ticket holders. The fact is that they have to turn it on on the field first to attract the fans back to ER.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the new kit looks great. can't understand what the fuss is about as long as we play well in it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't get why people are so boring, you can get a plain white shirt from Primark if you want! its just a bit different, couple of season and it will be back to plain. Personally I've always preffered the away kits it was all yellow and blue when I was a Kid, to me that's leeds colours and from what people are saying that is their true colours! (excuse the pun)

Agree0 Disagree0

This shirt looks like it was bought at Primark.
What are you talking about yellow and blue, Don Revie changed it to all white 56 years ago and we are known worldwide in that kit. Spurs and Swansea look more like us than we do. I know if we get a good team and are challenging nobody will care, but my point is they had a great chance to bring back the pride of the old team along with a forward looking progessive team and manager for the future. Imagine getting promoted and the world once again starts looking at Leeds United, we are the whites.
Just my opinion not knocking anyone elses MOT

Id sign Dagnall from Barnsley cracking little striker. Would get cheap if they go down.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is that the player who got compared to leeds legend Allen Clarke and dagnall
Replied ' it's a honour to get compared to such a great player but I never want to play for leeds utd'.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did he really say that?

Heard recently Fulham are getting ready to ditch 3 or 4 fringe players including Keiran Richardson & Andy Johnson, wages allowing, Johnson would score for fun in Championship, Richardson a bit injury prone & a former MUFC, but not long ago in the England team, thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Andy Johnson, no thanks, unless we're looking at a companion for somma on the injury list

Is that same Andy Johnson who left Fulham for qpr??

The new home kit is a shocker. they'll b on the sale rack by September. They need to cut ties with macron, should've binned them after the black and greeny yellow embarrassment of a kit

I can't understand why some fans wouldn't want beckford back. 125 games for Leeds. 72 goals. Says it all for me!
Bob. Wakefield.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In lge 1, and he's 30 now, slower and no longer good enough for Leeds in a promotion push, what is it with all this a**e licking with beckford, theirs much better out there, so, as has been said a million times, move on

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed hows things? any gossip from you're sources? Ta! not been on for while guess going to upset some straight away with comment. to all Basically becks scored for us when it was in lower divisions
Done us good in past let's move on with no old players!we need fresh faces new impetus, drive and playing free flowing un scared football the mc'd way thanks to both beck's you both done us good at time but you choose the £££ and higher football? you didn't leave because you we're pushed out you went to better you're wages and ambition we all would in all walks of life ( you ain't blamed for trying) but same 1 trick ponies give them 10 chances to score maybe 1-2 goals with nobody else adding goals we need goal scorers who get 1 in 2/3 attempts and rest of team waying in too!with becks you can't have that it's too 1 dimensional
My opinion move on please it's painful to see old player loyalty clouding fans judgement
Leeds for life mot.

Mcd said on os site, few things not quite right, guess one was the fitness coach. You got to like this geezer. No ranting or raving, just quietly gets on with the job. What a welcome breath of fresh air he brings to the club. If gfh get more investors over the summer ( surely they must get at least one or two more ) mcd will have a bit of cash to splash. He is a smart man and I reckon he knows whose going and who he want to buy with money and those he wants without money. He has recently had a month or so holiday so can work through the summer fine tuning. Big crowd for last home game, let him know what a winning start to next season will mean to fans and crowd. Think will be a completely different style of play next season and clubs can write elland rd off as nil points.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gfh are history pal, they won't be here in august

Looking further afield (ok, Germany)for bargains;
özkan yildirim is available on a free from Werder Bremen. Could be a decent addition on the left wing.
Goalkeeper, Michael Rensing is also out of contract in the summer at Leverkusen.
Centre-half Alexander Madlung from Wolsfburg or Christophe Metzelder.
I'd rather splash cash on signing-on fees and wages, rather than transfer fees.
