I know that KB said no risk taking but surely you need to when you want PL football, as far as i know hes borrowed money for the stadium so why not the team? I would of taken where we are now a few years ago when in league 1 and -15. I just cant understand KB's comments. He puts pressure on SG and says we need to trim the squad, surely were not going to get big money for the likes of paynter etc. Please speculate to accumilate, maybe it hasnt worked for leicester yet but we havent got sven in charge. C

At home you have to break opponent teams down rather than suck up all the pressure and hit them on the break like you do away from home. This is why being good at set pieces helps so much home and away because you are never forced to score in any match. Point? I just don't think Larry, Snod and Miller are up to it at the highest level in the Championship so far as home form is concerned and breaking teams down. We all know we are many teams' cup final in this division and teams come to ER to stifle but since we know that and we read about it every few weeks in the YEP, O/S it's about time we dealt with it! Where's Fortress ER gone? Fans deserve and the club requires more consistency at home and by that I mean winning home games. End of the season we want a home record which reads there or thereabouts P 23 W 15 D 5 L 3. We are nowhere near achieving that. If Grayson, Snodin and Miller can't do that it's time for them to go. I know we need to spend money and it's not all their fault but their home record should be better than what it is right now even without the investment that is required. I don't mind seeing all 3 get sacked if their replacements take the club further forward. I also want Bates to back Larry in the window because it's about time we spent some money and I want to see how good Larry really is with some cash in his pocket. That will put the whole debate about Grayson not having money to spend to bed once and for all! MOT

And all the rumours on this site are pathetic, we will prob get andrews if that and one or two on loan get realistic and be happy were debt free, that goes to all you armchair fans playing football manager all day.
There are a number of flaws with your analogy.
1) We are not "debt free" as Ken Bates as loaned a large sum of money to build Elland Roads version of Chelsea Village.
2) You Don't want a player who has played for the "scum" despite the fact that at least two cult heros have played for them (Johnny Giles, Gordon Strachan). I'm pretty sure if it was announced that Rooney and Young were signing for Leeds tomorrow you wouldn't have the same attitude towards them.
3)You want a Midfielder (Andrews) who turned us down to play for Ipswich in summer? Now I'd rather have a scum player who chooses us first time than a man who thinks of us as 2nd best.

Some ppl make me sick, why sack SG? And if he was sacked who would take over? Im not a bates fan but dont blame bad performances on the manager. What about the players? What about the coaching staff? At the end of the day were in the playoffs at the moment. And id rather be playing bad close to the top than playing good at the bottom. Some fans need to realise were not a huge club anymore, but we obviously have potential. If we get to PL then bates will no doubt sell the club anyway,but until then be patient. Atleast we dont have sven in charge, take solace in that! mot.
