It is already xmas day lunch time here in NZ and a sweltering 28 degrees outside. Merry xmas and best wishes for 2018 to Leeds Utd and all their supporters. Hope we get a nice present in May!

Happy Christmas to all the regulars on here and the hard working Eds. I've been sat up all night with mini Mick seeing where Santa is on NoRad Santa Tracker and was s**ting myself for him when he was over North Korea. Hopefully he'll make his way to the UK for midnight. I'll be slaving away in the kitchen all night whilst Mrs Mick is snoring and farting. I've currently got a big fat bird spread over the kitchen table, ramming a couple of lemons inside the huge cavity. After that I'll prepare the turkey for dinner. Have a good one y'all. Saint Mick x

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence Mr Monk! Oh well you now have time to watch us on Sky on Boxing Day, might remind you of what you missed! I’m in total agreement with Whitemans earlier post about Félix, 2 good games does not make him the next Nigel Martyn but credit where it’s due, he has had two good games, but let’s not forget why he was dropped! Gritty win today but again not that good against an average Hull Shitty, but a win for Christmas so happy days. It will be interesting to see who they appoint at Middlesbrough and what happens and how quickly, don't want them charging up too fast! Us, a work in progress, including the goalkeeper but some good signs. Winning ugly is needed some days and good to know we can do it. Nice to get Sammy back in and a few more goals at Burton and Birmingham and then getting our first double against Notts Forest. Thanks Eds for this site and you regular posters for your insights and ocasional wit! Much appreciated!

Against Hull and Norwich we easily could have lost, has TC worked out how to grind out a result in the Championship, looks like it. Think we need a right back as Agling looks as if he needs a break .

We are scraping wins together at the moment, as it's said a sign of a good team to win games when not playing particularly well. We were losing these type of games during our blip. While the players now seem willing to battle, we do need fresh blood in to help with a play off push. Lots of tough games to come, we need to learn from last season and be equipt to handle the run in. We are at least Giving Ourselves a Chance.
