I've had an idea. The championship should have new format. The way to get the two automatically promoted teams is, have a winner of the league up to Christmas, then start again and have a league up to May.
The winner of that goes up as well.
I propose we start this format from the 2018/ 19 season!

Not been on for a long time, just a bit shocked (and nicely so for a change) at what is happening.
Just read that Dean Smith has explained about the Leeds United 'Dark Arts' and how poor the referee was in spotting things.
I have to totally agree with the guy on that point (alone) he certainly missed at least three clear Leeds penalties.
Mind you, we have had one recently, only another 14 months to go before we can maybe expect another.
Don't do that again, Leeds, I don't think my heart can stand it!

Do we really need to buy this January? Unless we buy a PL type player then the bigger picture maybe dictates that we wait until our football (and financial) future is sealed in May; then we can buy a higher quality at a higher price.

I think Bielsa will have done his homework on the players that could improve the side. If one or more of those is available. Bamford and Brown and how quickly and then how long they will be fit is key.

Dean 'sore loser' Smith said Villa deserved a draw but credit to ex villa player Lee Hendrie who then corrected him and said Villa were more than well beaten by the best team in the league in Leeds.

Other Woody, I agree Bub also strikes me as a man of principle. However, those principles will be tested if some chairman comes along and wants to add a zero to his salary. We should enjoy the holiday season but I want Radz to do everything in his power to keep going what we got going. That includes keeping Corberan, somewhat unsung hero. We have a great shot at redemption. It's very important.

Have said before George, money is not Bielsa's driving force, he likes a project and everything we have seen and heard indicates he is totally committed to Leeds. The problem may be if Radz does not give him the tools he requests, not personal remuneration. I realise most in the football game are not deep enough to be shallow but God is on a different level.

This is a very special man
He only came to Leeds because he was given the chance to build from the ground up
He gets the club, the support and more importantly he’s given whatever he needs to build his legacy.

Good posts all but what is the stated project? When does it complete? In a way, Bub IS the project because only he can deliver it. I'd like to think the project for next season is mid-table respectability. Who thinks we can finish 4th like we did last time we made our return?

The project I would imagine George is to restore our beloved club to the upper echelons of football. The start to escape this quicksand division, the conclusion, well, limited only by imagination. If step 1 is indeed realised in the first season we can look forward to a very thrilling journey indeed. Bielsa is just the right glove for the right hand, especially the way he will Properly utilise and grow our youth system, they are safe with him and are what our future will be built upon.
