West ham will be back. Like it or not but think worst will happen.
Get in pennant while he's free, far better than stewart.
Use ross money for le fondre and mackail smith.
Take matt taylor from w ham as part of deal.
Thats not bad deal all round in my opinion.
Even kenwynne jones. Shrew leeds

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I tend to agree with you again Shrew

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a bad package but how much of this can happen before any take over is completed? Where is our Manager as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats the prob. It doesn't need a takeover for ross to go but prob needs one for more quality to come in. shrew leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

What has Craig Mackail-Smith done all season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cms been injured but on way back

The takeover has obviously hit a major problem. Could it be that Massimo Cellino was originally part of the consortium but his past got in the way again? His son however might not have a problem and Massimo is perfectly entitled to advise his son

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bingo huh ADVISORY Capacity by Massimo Cellino towards Leeds & his Son.

Open letter to gfh (or whoever actually runs lufc currently)

If you sell RMc you are abandoning any hope of achieving success this season. If/When you sell him to the spammers make sure you factor in a drop off of 20 to 30% from ticket receipts for the rest of the season. The fans which have packed ER to the rafters will drift away. Why should supporters turn out for mediocrity week after week, showing their commitment if you can't show yours. Leeds fans are absolutely fed up with this carry on every t'fer window. Before january we all got a bit giddy thinking that we may have turned a corner and that we will keep our best players and genuinely build a squad that can challenge at the top of this division. I see no evidence of this at the moment. Thourougly cheesed off at present.
Be warned!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Real supporters turn up no matter what is happening at board room level ill be there tuesday regardless of who owns the club about time fans stopped making excuses!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you think they do what they want, because we will keep turning up, maybe we should learn them a harsh lesson and hit them where it hurts there pockets maybe go to game but boycott beer, burgers programme stands etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your seriously deluded if you think boycotting is the answer all that does is kill the club so your telling me you wanna see no one turn up for games then what we have no club at all to support yeah great idea not?

Ross McCormack to leave Leeds if West Ham can raise their offer from £3.5 to £5 million.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jan 2014 21:39:23
Leeds turn down £3.5m bid what's the betting they accept £4m - as they say same s**t different day

I can't understand why we seem to attract nothing but as Ken would say Shisters! We must be one of the best prospects for a serious investor

It been a s**t few years but it just seems to get worse!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

West ham are trying to get ings now younger and better but more money

Ross please be aware a year ago Becchio was scoring for fun then swapped for Cash plus Morrison and spent all season keeping his back side warm, our loss in my opinion, if Ross goes to W.H. In a player exchange deal it will be our loss again, we either cash in for a large amount and buy a player from another club or keep him, we don't want teams taking our best players and getting rid of their rubbish in exchange.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jan 2014 19:49:57
Well done leeds for rejecting, if rhodes is worth 8 million surely ross is worth at least 5. Just been made captain and is our top earner I imagine. So doubt he would want to go, not to them anyway. Just get this frikin takeover done now. Vinny.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said Vinny. JD

Does anyone really know what is going on behind closed doors? No.
I don't have a clue, FACT, so I'm just going to sit back and wait for it all to come out in good time. I don't like it dragging on, not knowing, ruining yet another season but not one of us fans can do anything about it so we'll all just have to wait and see.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jan 2014 19:22:11
Talk about De Ja Vue, its the same every transfer window and the same rubbish again with this so called takeover, The parties involved go silent everyone else thinks they know better than the actual facts, no doubt all involved will have signed a confidentiality agreement as per with this club, we ALL know if there is a takeover it will happen just as the window closes then we will get all the usual lies along with no signings yet again. these past 10 years of the Leeds Utd saga just goes from bad to worse an gets more painful each year. How tempting would this be. 4 mil + Vaz Te for Rosco and 8 mil for Byram. 12 mil to spend on replacements +. Both great players. but how many quality players would we get for 12 mil? Just throwing it out there to see what your thoughts were.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Matt Jarvis 10 mil. Steven Fletcher 13 mil. I rate Ross at the same level as those 2, and he's just signed a new contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2014 19:53:23
not many as it will cost almost 3.5 mil per player transfer fee and wage at least if we want some real quality for this league

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when are we going to get 8mill for byram? Maybe end of last season but not now

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2014 20:35:50
12 mil would easily get us

ATT - Vellios
ATT - Le Fondre
ATT - Baldock
AM - Moussa
AM - Dorrans (loan)

Agree0 Disagree0

Who says transfer money would be used to buy players, all previous transfer money under master bates disappeared, are this lot any different?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well have the owners done that yet no so before you start getting carried away let's just see what happens in the next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

8 for byram? Never get that. Plus he's a leeds lad and we should be keeping him at all costs. Its not football manager. Vinny.

At the end of the day lufc is just a complete mess.
We thought we had turned a corner with the owners but its no clearer that last year.
Theres every chance ross will go. Why shouldn't he. The wages prob double.
Didnt ronaldo love man u? Where is he now.
Money talks.
Its about who on earth can come in. We beed at least 3 or4 if ross goes.worrying times indeed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So what happened to the Good news this week Mr Haig? Is it selling our captain? Rumours that the takeover has collapsed and Haig consortium no longer has excluesitivitey might explain why it has all gone very quite? We deserve better than this! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2014 17:17:28
I'd love to keep ross, but if we could get 4+mil for him I'd take it provided it was re invested in the squad. Could bring in Dorans, Graham and Billy McKay. Think we'd get change from it as well that could be used for Dorans and maybe Graham's wage.
ValleyWhite.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

4 million is nothing for our only goal scorer! shows how low our expectations have been forced as fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

We'd be lucky to sign one of those with 4 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

McKay has been evaluated as 1 million by Inverness, Dorans contract runs out in July and Graham is hardly flavour of the month, hence the change from 4 mil.

Ed, How much truth do you think off this?
West ham bidding 2.75 million plus 2 loans for McCormack.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - They have made a bid, which should be rejected. The only way I can see them accepting is if the takeover has fallen through and Sports Capital need to be paid what they are owed. Otherwise it will take a bigger bid and at least Vaz Te, unless Ross wants to go, then that's a whole new ball game. Big test for the board this}

Who actually accepts or rejects this bid while we are in process of being taken over
surely new owners would block any sales as this would slightly de-value our club

Agree0 Disagree0

And GFH will block any purchases as they have already shown!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2014 17:10:11
Here we go again!, It's snoddy all over again and honestly who could blame Ross if he did go? The uncertainty surrounding the takeover (again) will have the players like us fans wondering what the hell is going on, there is more twists in the goings on than there is in emmerdale. David haigh the pr loving Tory boy needs to come clean and let everyone know what's going on he also needs to knock west ham and their bid for Ross out of the park. If we accept for me the writing is on the wall and the house of cards will rapidly fall down.

If someone high up at Leeds reads this site please please give us loyal paying fans the answers we have a right to know we are becoming a joke and deserve clarity honesty and respect

Andiroo.

west ham make bid for McCormack. Let's see how much our current owners are looking to the future

"They have great fans, are looking to become a top team, no doubt."

Lots of things going on without any reliable information. Leeds fans solide experience in trying to lay puzzles with lots of pieces missing. as usual we all end up with different pictures!

I think some of the existing pieces are essential for understanding something of whats going on:
1. The Barnes deal, and
2. The total change in attitude to the transfer window (no further transfers anticipated)

In conspiracy thinking we may think GFH blocked the Barnes deal to put pressure on Haigh & friends - price or time limit. But not likely? Why should they, if money was made available, and business was set to be finalized the way planned?

Something must have happened in the consortium - OR a third part must have emerged. The reports of Mr. Cellino are therefore reliable. He may be trying to snap a deal without any connection to the consortium. In that case, there will be no new players and no hope for this season, cause it will take time. If Cellino becomes part of the consortium, things may be different, and lots of thing can happen before window closes.

Fans may wish a welthy owner, well liked by everybody and with no negative record at all. How many owners in the PL or championship fit this description? NONE! I don`t care who`s coming in - if he has the money, the intention of making this club big once more, and goes by a different name than Ken Bates, he will be more than welcome both at ER and by my tea table!

Exiting and frustrating days!
That`s a step forward. cause for a long time I`ve just been frustrated!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree with this post my take is this, if a consortium take over it will mean all decision going forward will take twice as long and people have to agree, this for me is not good. Now if we have one person in charge who actually has a club already surely that's a better set up. Owners are never popular unless you win lots, now I don't remember Watford complaining too much as there club got a fair injection of players from the sister club.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2014 10:10:43
I think this Massimo guy could be a lot better for our club than people think. He's very popular with the fans of Cagliari. Yes he's been in trouble with the law but this is down to trying to help his club, get a usable stadium despite the beurocracy that has stopped him doing so. He has got money and is willing to spend it.
The guy is obviously a football fan, and obviously wants his club/s to do well, so bring him in I say and do it quickly, If we do then I can almost guarantee, more quality signings in the last week of transfer window than we've seen in the last ten years.
Agree or disagree with this opinion I don't really care, after all it is just my opinion.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With all the confusion and speculation surrounding Leeds at the moment, surely a statement could be given on the state of play, its not only unnerving for the fans but also the management and players I would imagine, the fans have backed you now show us a little respect, the silence is deafening.

I have just applied for Massimo to be my GOD FATHER in the family sense of course.Big Mark

I'm reading a lot of uninformed comment from fans who are badly informed.
1 there was no exclusive deal.
2 we all want our club back at the top where we belong.
3 if the Italian Connection brings us success then thank god it's about time someone did.
4 Massimo has been working at this for at least 4 months already.
5 Instead of complaining we should be celebrating this opportunity for success.
6 We gave Bates a chance so why not the Italian.

You are entitled to your view. I'll stick with mine. I'm sure Portsmouth fans had periods of optimism about past overseas investors too, Blackburn as well. I respect your opinion and I hope you are right; fingers crossed your rose coloured spectacles turn to reality for us all as frankly we deserve it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Too be fair there are more foreign owened clubs who are doing well, than those which aren't.I doesn't matter where they are from, as long as they do what is best for LUFC. Ben- Telford

Agree0 Disagree0

Only thing I would question is point 1 re exclusive deal. You are right there was no exclusive deal but we were told there was a period of exclusivity i.e GFH would not discuss deals with anyone else.
