I think we have a great core of young players who deserve their chance next season e.g Poleon, Dawson and thompson. However I still think we need those game changers with a bit of pace etc.

Possible targets?
Max Clayton (20)
Johnny Russell (21)
simon church (22)
Dani Pacheco (22)
Dale jennings (20)

If we sold Paddy Kenny, then how about mark schwarzer as a replacement. I think that would be a change for the better.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Im trying not to be negative here but how would a 43 year goalie be a way forward. kenny is not the best keeper by a long way, but mervyn day wasnt either the last time we got promoted out of this league either. kenny like day was reliable and if he got a defence in front of him like day had we might have a chance. on paper we have a couple of decent centre halves what we don't have is a combination that can work together. midfield is non extistant in quality just workmanlike. as for up front apart from ross we are really poor morison for bec imo was a backward step i'd rather barn door billy back. but there is a plus side to this brian mc I believe is a manager who could turn this around.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Kenny is pure class. Look at the way he tried to take the urine at wolves only for the ball to clip his heel and them score from the resulting corner in fergie time. He is not even the best keeper at Leeds, ashdown is

I bet ross mc is dreading scoring 5 in a game next season only to find out in the sunday papers that his eye and hair colour don't match our new kit. How awful for him!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The thing he'd be dreading is being called up to the Scotland squad. imagine the embarrassment!

Who cares if byram goes I've seen him a few times this season and ino he's young but he's not as good as the HYPE makes out his positioning isn't the best and he get skimmed all time

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Of course his positioning isn't great, you learn that through experience.

Agree0 Disagree0

My god that's the most ridiculous comment so far this decade. R u Mr happy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope not one of mine.

Mr Happy

Agree0 Disagree0

Byram is the best if not one of the best under 20 right backs in the country. he has bags of potential and yes he's made some errors that have been poor but he learns from them and gets better as a result

Would love to see Ian Harte back at the club! Hope it happens

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I was glad when he left the club, youve obviously forgot what a bad defender he was.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we need another old left back? pointless signing, why not sign Alan smith while were at it

Agree0 Disagree0

Harte was class, not sure i'd want him back though

I sent the tv a message registering my disappointment that the great Don Revie was excluded from match of the day's list of great managers. It seems that the BBC's John Mottson is not that much of a LUFC admirer as it was HE who felt fit not to include Don Revie. Furthermore on reading their reply it is apparent that the tv staff also have little empathy with 'The Don' as they refer to him as Don Review! But don't worry its official that the tv are not biased against Leeds United, see reply from tv below;

Thanks for contacting us about ‘Match of the Day’ on tv One.

We understand you were unhappy that Don Revie wasn’t included in the montage of “great managers” during the programme on 19 May.

We’re sorry if you felt disappointed by this; however the list wasn’t intended to be a definitive one, merely a subjective mention of some of the people John Motson felt to be great managers.

It also shouldn’t be taken as evidence of bias against Leeds United, as the tv has warmly covered Don Review over many years, including in recent times a lengthy feature on ‘Late Kick Off’ looking back at his legacy with countless tributes. We also covered the unveiling of his bronze statue at Elland Road last year where we heard from his son and many others, paying tribute to his successes.

Nevertheless, please be assured we’ve registered your comments on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback that’s compiled daily and made available to staff across the BBC, including programme makers, channel controllers, and commissioning executives.

The audience logs are seen as important documents that can help shape decisions about future programming and content.

Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.

Kind Regards

Not as much transfer kitty as we thought this year as Leeds (as well as most other clubs in the championship) are spending a lot of money improving the youth team structure. With salary and spending caps coming into force teams are going to have to rely on homegrown talent and this has been neglected in previous years with clubs instead going for ready made players from other clubs or older players who can't hack the top league anymore. Leeds have had a couple of successes recently with Byram and to a lesser extent Poleon but more money is still needed to produce a more reliable source of good youngsters. My brother coaches a youth team in Blackburn and they have had visits from Burnley and Blackburn saying this is what is happening so expect more scouting visits for the younger teams and that other clubs will be doing the same.

I'd heard something similar but that the money was in a different pot to the transfer kitty so it wouldn't be affected. Think most clubs will be looking to use more youth players in the coming seasons as they have cheaper wages (in fact if there under 21 they don't count in the wage cap I think, I may be wrong though) thus saving money for a good big money signing.

Personally think we could do a lot better than Doyle, lazy and not that prolific in my opinion. Would be happier with sharp. Noel Hunt would make a good bench player aswell

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I completely agree, Doyle has been nothing special for a while now and really he's the same kind of player as Morison, one Morison seams like more than enough
