Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Great team performance tonight. Might be just the kind of game we needed to play ourselves back into form. Showed the difference that Hernadez and Roofe make to us when we were struggling to break through. Then we started to play and some of the football in the second half was close to our best again . Hernandez, absolute class and perfect ball for the goal. Like to see Bermondsey criticism KP tonight, looked comfortable in that role, gives him another player in front of him and allows him to use his passes to spread the play.

Lots of pluses, Forshaw more time, Pearce getting a game, Alioski unlucky not to score, have a look at his shot.

The other thing that is starting to stand out for me is the flexibility we get from a lot of the players . People are able to slot into different positions. If we ever have everyone fit there is going to be a hell of a fight to get on the bench.

Great effort, delighted for the squad. Good warm up for Forest where we need to step up again!

Totally agree Spanish. Pretty much the same as I thought. We didn’t excel, but were competent all over the park and put a poor side to bed comfortably for once, tho it should have been by a few more. The big thrashing of someone is coming soon!

Nice to be top after our injury problems and the drop off form. Let's hope after tonight's good performance albeit against a pretty poor Ipswich side we can get on a run again. I thought Philips and Alioski were good tonight. Great to have Roofe and Hernandez firing again. Forshaw and Pierce for me both did well when they came on.

Absolutely needed that . Not brilliant but was comfortable. Looked quite easy for us at times . Ipswich a very poor side so not looking in to it too much. Shame berardi got injured again . Be is either injured or suspended in the last year .

First point has to be that Ipswich are pee poor and will go down.
That said, it was vital we showed something tonight, so on came the Pablo and Kalvin show. Yes, not the slick, fast flowing football we have seen, but still so dominant all over the park, as we should be against teams like this.
Pablo played like he was in his mid 20's, and Kal looked so comfortable all night.
Plus, all the subs who came on looked comfortable too.
The future is Bright. the future is White!

Alioski left back tonight I assume by line ups .
I'd say a must win tonight . Not being too dramatic, obviously it doesn't mean we are out of it if we don't win but I think for various reasons . We need to show we can bounce back, we need to put this iffy run to bed and let's be honest if we can't beat Ipswich at home in the awful form there in then I don't know where we go from there.

Based on the lineup, I'm going to put my neck on the line, and say 4-1 to us tonight. Pablo playing will give Saiz space, and vice versa. Think, like some others, that Alioski will fit well at the back. Two from Klich, and the same from Roofe. MOT!

A comfortable 3-0 win for us tonight guys and then back into the top 2. Put everything you've got on it, dead cert 😂.

I heard Malik Wills was in talks with Leeds about a new contract, and now I've just read he's due in Crown Court, about a stabbing? I would think that that contract is in the long grass for a good while.

Hi AL. I read that we sent him to Donny as he was complacent and often seemed disinterested, but then at Donny appears to have woken up and played really well, so we entered contract talks but Donny had to drop him for a game, because the had become complacent and disinterested, but has then come back into their team and played well again, before tipping up in court in relation to quite unsavoury charges. The club say that they are fully aware of these charges, but since when I wonder. I wasn't. I think that like you say, long grass might be best for this one for a while. Shame if he wastes his talent due to "lifestyle" choices.

Enjoy, should be a genuine under 23 side, but some of tonight’s bench who don’t get time might get a go and you might see a half of Douglas. I’m still thinking of going but it’s a bit of a drive from Keighley.

A win tonight is a must and will put us in a healthy position. A draw or loss is not really a consideration. The table is getting very congested at the top. No standouts.
The problem is. Bielsa might rue not getting four good quality players in. Not only are we getting our fair share of injuries and suspensions we are also suffering a wide spread loss of form. Only Pontus, Douglas, Roberts, Klich and roofe have maintained form. Ayling has been poor. Cooper lost it. Saiz and Alioski mainly having little impact. Harrison and Dallas ok but not inspiring.
Time for lads to stand up and be counted.
I'm not overly confident about tonight. Hoping for a win but defense has lost it recently. Think kp needs Forshaw with him.
Hoping for a 1-0.

Not everybody Wex! I was always of the same view, but I hope we can hang in while January so Radz and Kinnear can show us if they really have the ambition to go up this season.

24 Oct 2018 13:58:40
Wex It's not plain to see at all. Our defense and midfield have improved. All that's lacking is an out and out in form striker but they're hard to come by at this level and cost a lot of money. Your criticism of the owner unjustified. What I will say though is if we are in the playoff spots come January a lack of investment at that stage would be inexcusable.

How is my calling the out about lack of investment by the owner wrong. Noel Whelan wrote an article pointing out that there was very little investment.

We’d, it’s about getting hold of the right players and making the most of our main squad and development squad. It’s never just about money. Look at Fulham 100 million spent during the summer on top of what they spent before. It doesn’t guarantee success. Bielsa is unlikely to want a host of new players in Jan, 1/ 2 of the right type and attitude, but that’s not going to be easy to find. Honestly think your just over the top on the criticism. I’m enjoying what we are doing and how we are doing it. I think we’ve got a coherent approach that runs through the club and is really looking to make the most of the talent we’ve got. We can’t do anything now until Jan, so look at what we do then and see what you think.

Aus we are going to smash a team sooner or later and i think tonight is the night i am going for a 4-0 trounce to see our healthy goal difference increase. currently 18-1.

Spanish your clutching at straws comparing a premier league clubs spend to that of a championship team and if it keeps Fulham in the Premier league it will be money we'll spent.

Another set of results throwing up some surprises. Middlesbrough and Sheff U showing that it's not just us who can drop points which we supposedly shouldn't, whilst we are now sandwiched in the table by two teams that we comprehensively put to the sword not so long ago. Blackburn kind enough to remind us that we are everyone's FA Cup Final and Monk amongst loads who want to crash the party. Some results have kept us within striking distance of top, whilst others have put half the league within striking distance of us. As ever, one unpredictable division. One thing for sure though, we need all 3 points tomorrow if we don't wanna hang out with the also rans.

This is the point where the real contenders start to show their pedigree and we need to stand up and be counted among them rather than fading away. Need to be heating the bottom team really.

Agree, now is the time to pick it up and start another run, Roofe and Hernandez back, a bit of tweaking ad off we go. 4 wins and 2 draws from our next 6 would set us up nicely.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Oct 2018 21:53:09
Well, well despite us being so poor because we didn't beat a team that's lost once in 24 we find ourselves wanting a win to go top (or second depending on Baggies v Direby) Boro managed to hold the mighty Rovram at the Riverside, meanwhile Blunts couldn't beat Stoke in Sheffield.
