i think if warnock keeps the team performing until the end of this season he should stay and give it another go. I feel he would have to use is subs a little better than he as done but I think he's got very little confidence in the fringe players. another summer, few decent signings as things might be different.

Is it just me or is anyone else fed up of Leeds getting managers in to "give it a go". let's face it Mr Warnock hasn't exactly improved the team, the playing style or our position in the league in the last 18 months whilst under the same financial constraints as Grayson, McAllister, etal.
So I'm sorry but I have to disagree.

Agree18 Disagree8

Well blow me down. Warnocks gone two games without a defeat (against mediocre opposition) and fans are saying he should be given another go. How fickle some people are. JD

If gfh looking for a quick buck then that explains why they wanted warnock. They thought he could get us up in a year and earn em a few quid. Now we prob not going up and they realise they need to spend a bit of dish to go up, they have decided to cut and run, thanks for nothing.
There were some good deals we missed out on player wise cause of them tight asses. Don't care what anybody says, if we had spent 1 or 2 mill in January. We would have been contenders!
Typical of this great club, we still have a great chance of playoffs despite owners and warnock doing there best to miss them. Good luck to the players. Gfh and warnock, shut the door behind you as quick as poss.

Believable20 Unbelievable21

And we don't care what you say pal, could spend ten million pounds and still not be contenders.

gfh are looking for investment so we can get players and all you want to do is complain.
gfh bought leeds united to make money not to remove bates and keep us happy.
gfh will still be involved with the club until atleast we get into the prem league as what ever share they own of the club will atleast double in value.
i don't really think they are tight as they have just reduced ticket prices for home games.
since gfh have bought the club we have been able to get rid of the dead wood and sign byram and diouf on longer contract.
give them time to get things right at the club. they said in the first place they want to get leeds to prem league by end of next season.

"There were some good deals we missed out on player wise cause of them tight asses. Don't care what anybody says, if we had spent 1 or 2 mill in January. We would have been contenders!"

So exactly who would YOU have bought in that period then?

Agree2 Disagree2

I agree with the last post although it will no where near double the price of shares. That means without training facilities or a stadium Leeds united would be worth 104m?

Agree0 Disagree0

We spent more than 2m in Jan, we bought tonge 300k, hall 250k and morison 2m so to me that adds up to 2, 550,000.

Agree2 Disagree7

We sold Becchio for £3m, they didn't spend a penny.

Agree11 Disagree0

We did NOT sell Becchio for 3 Million, we swapped him for Morrison and 250K (ish) which is what Hall cost.

Therefore we actually SPENT just the 300K on Tonge.

I personally think we actually LOST at least 1 Million by letting Becchio go like that, rather than selling him outright?

Becchio has proved his worth, year in year out, what has Morrison done recently to have justified almost a straight swap?

Agree5 Disagree2

You need to understand what is meant by having different opinions. Dosent mean somebody is wrong, wingeing or negative!
Re signing players an alternative approach would be to offload the deadwood and use said wages to be able to afford. Wood, gamble on 750k for Burke. Maybe try for Russell. Etc
Nothing against Morrison, he may turn out to be a legend but although it seems gfh are doing the right thing for leeds. Dropping ticket prices signing up youngsters it is more than likely to make the books look good for sale. Investing in a football club does not normally mean for a quick turnover profit. Most invest in the team for a period of years. It's an opinion boys, that's all

Agree2 Disagree0

"You need to understand what is meant by having different opinions. Dosent mean somebody is wrong, wingeing or negative"

Totally agree but when someone states that we sold Becchio for 3 million then that is a lie, not an opinion.

Agree2 Disagree0

Morisons played what 3/4 games? give the bloke a chance

Agree1 Disagree0

If we signed people like burke, campbell instead of tonge and hall we would have had a chance, warnock out he doesn't have a clue just getting all his old boys because they know how he wants to play so he does **** all. GFH are a joke that has been guided by bates so we are screweddddd.

If we have decent investment on the squad in the summer I feel that these prices would be suitable for the fans and GFH
North&South A-27 B-24 C-21
East&West A-30 B-27 C-24
Family A-25 B-22 C-19
Juniors £8 in all areas
This would see attendances hugely increase as they are more affordable and with investment in the squad it will urge the fans to come.
MOT {Ed013's Note - As a season ticket holder I am not sure on match day prices each week, but they still look too expensive to me. All I know is at the minute I pay 11 quid for my 4 year old to go which I think is disgusting seeing as he spends most of the match in my arms! Kids should go free with a paying adult to get the next generation of fans up and running, or if a payment is to be made no more than a fiver should be asked}

Believable17 Unbelievable1

Agree with Ed013 100%. Get youngsters in now before it's too late! Everyone feels happier with 25k+ in ER & the team performed better too! Jimbo

Agree13 Disagree0

Dont kid yourself they can keep them as they are if we played well and got in top 2 youd be back up to 30000 every week.

I remember I posted about us not making a bid for Frazier Campbell. He was so cheap. Someone replied saying he wasnt any good etc. The kids scored 5 from 5. He's going to be prolific in this league.

So to the guy who doubted me. how d'ya feel?

Believable8 Unbelievable12

Quick Leeds sign up this talented scout, he is just the best.

Agree18 Disagree1

Campbell's quality has surely never been in dispute. But his wage is.

Agree13 Disagree0

Campbell was so cheap because of the silly wages he is on

Agree6 Disagree0

£650,000 good price but did'nt they offer him £30,000 a week.

Agree8 Disagree0
