Whilst I am on a roll thought I would share my views on our lack of goals. Whilst not a massive fan of Doukara he is hitting the net pretty regularly and as was the case on Saturday converted our only shot on target into a goal. I think Wood has goals in him, but he desperately needs the ball to be moved to him from a more central position, ideally chest height or below and no more than a few strides in front. For a big chap I am not overly impressed with his ability in the air and as we all know he ain't exactly Usain Bolt! I feel that Antenucci should be played just behind the front two in an attacking midfield role. He has the skill and I feel could do a job and make up for the lack of manoeuvrability from our current from two. Anyway just a thought, just going off to put a crease in the shell suit in readiness for tomorrow's game!

I find it a bit amusing but concerned that we are looking at Dack when you look at the top goal scorers list in League one. Not concerned that Dack isn't a good player and might not make it in our division, but that we didn't keep and give a chance to the others, same as we didn't give a chance to the Douk and Ant. We have done this quite a few times in the past. We might be just about to do the same with Wood.

Anyway just 11 off playoffs a nice run of 5 or six wins on the trot and we will be up there.

Yes, sorry Ed. a mid-fielder, just what we need. In my pain I was thinking back to the Jordan and Cantana days. I'm just a little miffed at our position as a whole tbh. The life of a Leeds supporter I suppose.

22 year old attacking midfielder, currently has 3 x more goals than our top scorer, now why would we want this talented, hungry, productive, young, English, skillful, exiting, player.
oh and he has great hair too!

A midfielder who scores that many superior than a striker who scores only 1 or 2 more. Anyway, strike rate not an indicator if you can play at Championship level. Sharp could but Ajose definitely could not.
Diagouraga and Dack if we get him are to replace the outgoing Bianchi Sloth and probably Murphy. The midfield is gradually getting better.

Seen that there are a few newbies coming through, so thought I should stop lurking and take the plunge. Living in London but have followed the mighty whites for over 40 years. Funnily enough feeling quite optimistic at the moment. Think that the Lardmaster given time could craft a pretty fine team. However if we get stuffed on Tuesday I will probably revise my current optimism!
