If 15 players leave and 5 come in, won't that make the following problems? 1. Burnout from lesser squad. 2. Even more burnout through Bielsa's style of play. 3. Complacency because no competition for places. I'm all for carp eradication but I'd have thought such figure was 7 or 8, not 15.

Giw, I too am s little concerned about the reduced numbers. Remember the reason TC was sacked. AR blamed Leeds' drop in form due to TC continually playing the same players and wearing them out. When Monk's team slipped at the end of the season we all noted they looked tired. HOWEVER . I am prepared to withhold judgment. Less players means less wages leaving more in the kitty to be able to afford some of the big names that are so enticing. We know we already have talent that just needs to be untapped. Are Bielsa's comments just spin to explain away lack of action/ambition due to unseen financial constraints placed on him or is he his own man. Given his history, I'm inclined to believe the latter.

I too fear burnout without rotation of a reasonably sized squad. The only light I see is that he did make reference to use of some of the young guns coming through.

Totally agree George, I have faith in Bielsa but I believe his numbers make us short and can only assume that some U23s are included in the 15. We suffered last season from burnout and a lack of physicality in the team. These issues must be addressed in the coaching and transfer market however if Jerry is one of the 5 the other 4 need to be top quality.

He's seen and liked some of the 23's, so they will make the step up, as and when necessary. And he's going to clear some dross. Surely that's what people want? Plus 4 to 5 more signings. Perfect.

Dross equals Lonergo, Pooper, Okant, Ekumiss, Cib icky, Grotesque, Wacko, De Irrelevant, Antdaughter and possibly Denton and Berardi. That's 9 certainties plus 2 maybes. Hardly 15. Gomes and Wally already gone of course. Let's hope El Loco was guilty of some fine Yorkshire exaggeration. Turn that pile into Vydra, Abel, Grabban, Wilson and Bartley and you got a first team and squad.

Think he is spot on. We have about 33 to 35 squad members. Lose 15, gain five gives us 25. Plus a few young ones quite happy with that

I'd keep bread, he has a good engine for this style of play. And agree we will see more under 23,s training with 1st team

Martyn I believe Bera on his last legs. He gets sent off too much. Won't be able to adapt to Bielsa style of play. Bera attitude top notch. Wish more of our players like him but I don't think he's up to it anymore. Would probably do well in League One.

So, a reported 15 players to be given the boot wonder what Radz makes of it as I would imaging most will be Ortas signings and according to Bielsa Orta will still recommend ploayers for him to appriove or not for me the obvious question is why the hell is Orta still here think we've all had enough of his lower league gems by now both our last managers took the bullet that should have been meant for him please no more Mbakogus and the like great chance to go for it now so don't waste it

I will forgive Orta for all his past follies if the signing of Bielsa brings the fruit of promotion to bear. A surgeon once told me that the body remembers no pain. Once it has passed it has gone. When we bask in the sunlight of the Premier competition a club such as ours deserves we will quickly put the last 14 years behind us.
