If the football league try to oust Cellino after all that`s happened with this club I can see some serious demonstrations and anger from Leeds fans across the board. I have never demonstrated, been on a march or any such thing in all my 47 yrs, however, if the FL do try something I will gladly participate in any protest necessary to show the FL what a bunch of w.s they are. The sooner we get out of this corrupt league the better.

Together with about 40000 Leeds fans and maybe more. He already had positive effect on commerce in Yorkshire. However, I do not believe there will be an oust attempt.

Agree with your conclusion George. Its a massive gamble to try to oust Massimo now. Not sure it would be legal until after appeal, can you make a decision based on a judges wording of a decision that may be overturned at appeal? Also the FL are supposed to protect their members to ensure financial wellbeing, forcing Massimo to sell would have disasterous ramifications for Leeds. Can you find another suitable buyer immediately, due diligence could take months, what if Cellino priced Leeds out of the market? Massimo will fight tooth and nail and it would be very damaging for the FL. Too many cans of worms will be opened. There are too many imponderables for the FL to risk it in my opinion

Be very surprised if FL would want to go to court to oust Massimo, then they would have to answer how the board can be impartial when they all have or have had interests in championship clubs. Also the judge will look at precedents set in previous takeovers and what tests were carried out and what previous punishments were meted out regarding failures, Its not all straightforward as the FL have their criteria but it is how , when and if it is implemented. Legally I think they will find it nar on impossible to move Massimo. If they say he has to sell he could put any price on our club, 200 mill, and wait for a buyer, what can they do, its not all we say you do as the FL think

Agree0 Disagree0

From what I can work out and someone correct me if I'm wrong please, new law this year says that the conviction for a fine is spent after 1 year from date of conviction, therefore if he drags this out till March 18th 2015 then it ain't going to matter a toss anyway, as it will be spent then. Only 5 months to go!!

Can someone who knows more than me about this please respond.
Couldn't we, under the freedom of information act, make the FL disclose what examination they took to deem GFH 'fit and proper' to take over Leeds United.
The fact that they allowed them, but now question MC, is a farce

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think you probably could Speedy. Give it a go. Write to FL and ask them.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) only applies to information held by Government. It does not oblige organisations such as the FL to divulge information.

Good idea but.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think the test was in place when they took over was it?
I might be wrong though.

Thanks Bic. Damn

just imagine what the final score would have been last night if sheff wed didn't have THE ROCK that is TOM LEES in the middle of there defense. Guy at work reckons he's the best in the league! lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

U can't blame Tom Lee's for all 7 goals can you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Loveawaydays! I'm not blaming him for anything! was bin sarcy! every Sheff Wed fan I know keeps on telling me how great he is and he always was but he was crap at Leeds because Leeds are a crap club! now he plays for a good club he his the best defender Leeds ever had and the best in the league! Sheff Wed fans are calling him the rock! he was crap at Leeds because he's crap! fact! Apparently he never put a foot wrong and had a good game last night according to the Sheff Wed I know everything and you know nothing fan I have to endure everyday! In my opinion if you lose 7-0 everyone has had a bad game! Even if it was against Man City!

I signed the 'Harvey Out' last week and most of my mates have, only a couple are LUFC fans too. So get anyone you know Leeds fans or not, its not just about us its also about the corruption in the game.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - and the fact that a man who has been responsible for financially destroying a number of clubs is now in charge of deciding who gets to run others! Ludicrous to have that man anywhere near the sport or any sport for that matter.}

Can't we get our supporters club to contact other sympathetic supporters clubs with a view to them signing it too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good idea guys but shouldn't we try to get a few high profile Leeds fans to sign up if they already haven't e.g. Keith lemon, Chris Moyles and maybe a few Leeds MPs. This will make the petition more credible.

I'm not sure but when the judge passed MC shouldn't that be the end of it? I understand that a guilty act and blah blah blah but he was not guilty of anything when he took over therefore is doing nothing illegal. As we know other owners are not subjected to this, imo it's above the FL's head. As we know according to FL rules once you own the club you can do as you please. And I read that a pending case won't count, correct me if i'm wrong lads. The fact is he passed the test, to the annoyance of the FL, mot with MC.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have no doubt that the FL will pursue their case to have Massimo removed from Leeds however I would argue if they did they would be on thin ice. Although the Football League is an association which governs it's self, due to the massive money in the game the FL cannot see themselves above the laws of the land which was demonstrated by having an independent QC review their decision to stop Cellino taking over in the first place. Law is based upon statue and precedent therefore the decision to remove Cellino based upon him committing a dishonest act could be challenged by Cellino that the FL have set a precedent by not attempting to remove Carson Yeung from Birmingham City, who is currently in jail for 6 years for money laundering. A dishonest act? I think so

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi i'm 32 and i'm a leeds fan the fl dose nt like leeds and they wld do any think to get leedsutd out of the football league and all this that they r having a go MC he is doing the best job leeds in a long time. the fl r trying to get MC out of the league if leeds get done for this then Birmingham City should get done as well and if u ask why the fl r having a go at MC about this boat thing and all he could get is a fine but the owner of Birmingham City is in jail and he is still aloud to run the club so the fl need to pull they finger out of they butt and leave leeds alone

The fa I no have rules but if there is any common sense left in this world they must let cellino carry on being the savior of our club the fa passed gfh and the finance bank and they would of ruined our club so it proves that what people see on paper is not allways as it seemed cellino has prob made a mistake we don't no but what I do no he has done right with lufc even if he has made a few people redundant f a please use your common sence for the good of football or you will have a major battle on your hands don't have a vendetta because you lost the appeal because that's what it will look like
