Im I the only Leeds fan enthusiastic at the possibility of Diouf coming in?we all know he has had his indiscretions but if anyone is goin to sort him out it be Warnock hes still a good footballer and he has the capability of winding up the opposition and their fans could be a proper old fashioned Leeds player

Was awful last time he played for us, and his attitude was worse.

Not sure if you have noticed bu mcsheffrey gets a massive round of boos when he plays against leeds

I find warnocks comments on making a team that young fans can be proud of ? youre buying diouf which you have pretty much said by refusing to comment when asked numerous occasions i am sure colin is right though lol diouf will set a fine example for everyone to follow because he has a history of being a really top bloke who never has any discipline problems on or off pitch and is loved by all his peers

Love the sarcasm...Paid for my season ticket but not sure I can go watch Diouf. Didn't Warnock call him a sewer rat? If this is true then I'll lose all respect for him - it was wavering anyway with the dreadful post Grayson results leaving us much further down the table.

Yes its a rumour confirmed by diouf with warnock refusing to comment even though when asked about players he is able ta say no leeds wont b looking at him this is why i taught grayson shud have been given money he did a fantastic job and imo which ye wont agree with is a better manager than warnock who has never been able to work off nothing and when he has hes got them relegated our loss is huddersfields gain

Itll neve come to an end with some of the plonkers on here,if its not him its anothe ex Leeds player,probably be Bowyer next,or Harte,or Derry etc,dont think NW will bring any of em back,hope not.

Had grayson not been sacked smith would of been coming back in the summer 100% don't think warnock will be interested to be honest unless he wants some experience

I would have harte back 100% just for his ability to cross a ball from free kicks and corners unlike our players who can only seem to hit the wall

Snodgrass---Clayton---Green---Templeton
DJ Campbell---McCormack

Pearce, Connolly, Webber, Nunez, Becchio

Lots of pace down the left and upfront, prolific STRs and solid CBs, not to mention aggressive, quality CMs and Snodgrass on the right. Not sure who we'd get at RB though? Someone physical like Halford? Or slot Lees on there and put Pearce CB? Or maybe someone a bit more attacking like Smith who we had on loan...

Decent shout,and not one ex Leeds player in sight,nice one,wouldnt mind Gradel back though.

Nunez and webber and connolly will be off i think we need to be getting rogers fit as he looks very good well for the 20 mins he played

Donny bought big name players and look what happened to them.

That doesnt mean that it happens to every team that buys big names so go and hav a look at real madrid they got a big name called ronaldo and look where they are in the league

As the forst post saod, big club, big names. Donny are a very small club who tried big names with an untested manager,thats why it didn't work

To be fair Doncaster did say he was the only success story of there short contract players. He is class and alot better ability wise than the championship, but attitude wise he doesnt even deserve the ability he has been blessed with

How much do people think we'll have to spend over the summer considering "promotion is on" this year? and what is everyones obsession with getting ex leeds players back? they left for 1 of 2 reasons: 1. they wanted more money and have no love for the club or 2.. they're not good enough to wear the shirt anymore/are close to drawing a pension. give it a rest we need fresh blood and desire to actually win!

Well if we are going down the fortress Elland road route, which I can understand. Lets just hope we can build a team spirit like the Wilkinson squad had. Looking back in reflection, they were good days giving me fond memory's when Leeds were a power house team. And yes, we was feared all over the country not just at Elland road. Got a feeling, the good days are coming back. Hope so anyway.

Back then I couldn't wait for the next home match to come,if only we could get a team anywhere like Wilko's.

As a person he is a t..t and everyone knows it, but this lad can play, if nw signs him he must think he can get him sorted. he would be great asset if he can be controlled. no one can doubt his ability

Diof's agents always have a vivid imagination. They like to associate their player with a number of clubs to keep his profile high and then 'leak' this to the media. This helps to keep his wages high. After all Diof's profile has always been more important than his limited ability.

Football agent dirty tricks. It s a bit sad. Just laugh this one off than give the turd the coutesy of taking it seriously.

I d be less surprised if Cantona came out of retirement to play one last season for Leeds (his first love) and Fergie became our assistant coach.

Very sceptical about this, however if Warnock can tame him then we could have a hell of a player on our hands, he was top notch for Doncaster while he was there (on the pitch that is).

There is no disputing that he is very high profile and he is a very talented player, he can be world class on his day, and could take alot of pressure off of snoddy.

Surely McCormack has been consulted on this potential deal though, as he spat at Ross in the tunnel at Elland rd dind'nt he?

I really hope Diouf does not come to Leeds he's the most disgusting horrible footballer to ever play the game, we do not want him at are club,if he came i would not go watch my beloved whites.When he played for Blackburn against Palace in the FA Cup Warnock called Diouf a Sewer Rat after the way he behaved in the game and towards Jamie Mackie who suffered a serious injury that day, please Mr Warnock keep your values and keep this Sewer Rat away from Leeds United.

Good footballer, terrible person. we dont want him.

There is no need for any club to have a player like that.

diouf on the way so skysports say anyways remember watchin him as a youngter in the african cup of nation he was great back then but now?? come off it warnock if thats the calibre of player we are after then another year in the championship im afraid

I'm not concerned about is calibre as a player, I think he can do a job.

His attitude sucks though, and in spite of being reprimanded time and again, he never makes any attempt to curb it.

But then if you toake away the attitude, can he still play?!
