I really hope we keep Matt Smith. OK he is not the most skilful player just now, but he is effective, has passion & loves the club.
He is young, keen & will certainly improve.
Please keep him MC

I believe our biggest problem is the coaching. We have leaked goals the past 3 seasons. We look sluggish and unfit. Every player we sign looks o.k. for a couple of games, but then blends in with the rest of the mediocrity. People keep saying Redfurn is doing a good job, don't see it myself.

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't know we was losing him? But I hope so too let's not forget he was playing uni football 2/3 yrs ago and I think he's come a long way this year and will continue too, he reminds me of chapman a bit. And Ross seems to prefer playing with him but we do need more than what we have at present and that's all round the park. Looking forward to the summer for a change

Ok, not the best if performances but it felt good leaving the ground after bagging 3points, Smith took his goal well and his celebration showed the kind of passion we want, I think the win was more down to how bad Birmingham where than how good we where. McDermott left the pitch fairly promptly at the end giving the fans a clap but didn't really come across to acknowledge the marvellous away support the fans have given this season, McCormack did come across and gave his shirt to a fan, followed by a Bazaar farewell by Hunt, now looking forward to next season with hopefully some quality additions in.

Let's hope Mowatt's injury won't be too bad. Good luck kid, hopefully he can still make the under 19s Euro Championship this summer.

Hysterical article by Rob Atkinson on new interim manager available on newsnow. Can't work out which twitter jibe is the funnier tho! Maybe a new poll is called for.

Cellino waiting for Italian judge to make statement and then when FL have nothing more to throw at him he will start making changes that he is busy formulating now. So expect BMD to be gone in June and ER to be purchased by July as Cellino feels stadium important. Also currently 3 new players currently looking in the pipeline and together leeds to obtain much of GFH stake and take a role on commercial side while Cellino manages ( as apparently they have such experience in Italian football somewhere).

good win today but poor performance but I am sick of hoof ball also it was good to see young Zac on the bench.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A good result but Brum City are even worse than us at home we need to build a quality team around Ros Mc to stand any chance next season MOT

Better team selection today. Could of gone for a bit of pace on the wings though. I see Stewart and White are on the bench, even giving Poleon a go on the wing could of been a good shout.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bit too defensive for my liking. Poleon or stewart should have started or both. We not playing leicester for christ sake!

Agree0 Disagree0

. Ok if Austin scores or assists I won't comment on team selections anymore

Agree0 Disagree0

Poleon is as bad as Austin! Too eratic and never, ever, looks up.

It would've wonderful to see Lucas back at ER in some capacity.
Good friend and a big man at ER.

I love radebe a true legend due to on pitch and off behaviour, e.g. kewell my favourite player when young, can't stand the bloke now. Galatasaray etc & Apparently used to have to be coarsed to sign autographs by missus. But come on jeff stop with the name dropping.

She's gone very quiet hope you've not been a bold boy AGAIN lol

A friend is a friend.
Lucas is a friend as our children went to school together and it was tragic what happened to his wife.

{Ed013's Note - Jeff, Lucas doesn't have a clue who you are, so unless you go by a different name, enough is enough}

Not before time ed

What's the big thing with buying the ground/TA back- it's of no consequence other than its 'comforting', and makes us 'whole again', but as for getting promotion it's a distraction. We do own the ground anyway- by way of a leasehold interest. ( don't Man City rent the commonwealth stadium off Manc a Council? - either that or something along the lines of they did for a while and bought it when they were ready/ able to?) It's like saying you don't own your own flat because it's a long lease- you do, you own the lease which is protected and can only end if you default on the rent. it's totally different to having a short term tenancy. You can own your house and still loose it if you default on the mortgage. For all we know MC has made enquiries, agreed a deal, and is on with it- it may take months and months to sort- might be an agreement to buy at end of lease in 10 years+ - as long as a deal is being done, that's all that matters. Maybe he or his family are buying it rather than the club- maybe he has bought Teak investments in the Cayman ilses/ BVI or wherever they are based- as it might be more tax efficient for him- that way you wouldn't know if he's bought it or not- the shares in the company that owns it would have merely changed hands. ultimately the ownership is irrelevant- it's about finance- how much there is for players, how much for rental/ mortgages and how much to run the business. This, along with how wisely that finance is administered and delivers performance on the pitch is what counts. Admittedly, the finance picture could change if the ownership arrangements change- but that change could be better or worse- as if MC spends £ millions on changing the property ownership, it can't also spend that on the important stuff. Hope that clears it up.

I was reading up on carbone on wpedia and as I read down his playing career I read that he scored a hatrick against us in the 1999-2000 fa cup.can any of you remember that because I don't know him and never heard of him before.also he's managing a team called ST.Christophe in the Italian 4th decision so he can't be that good of a manager.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He did, he were playin for Villa at the time & they beat us.

Agree0 Disagree0

On his day he was a real talent, very comfortable on the ball

Regardless of today's result, I predict BMD will be gone by Monday.
The new regime will want to gauge reaction before and during last game.
Positive by the majority me thinks.
Time to re-group and go again. Onwards and upwards. MOT

Happy Champions Day to all Leeds fans the world over.

On this day in 1992 the mighty Whites were crowned champions by beating Sheff Utd in what was a bit of a farcicle game to be honest but who cares, we did it with a game to go. last true champions!

Right I'm off to 'spoons early today to celebrate Champions Day and yes Andy, I do have my shiny shell suit on!

Don't forget good old Mel Sterland!

Agree0 Disagree0

Some great performances & memories that season. I was there at Bramall Lane that day - what a day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Me too! Sterland was great so to Rodders Wallace, Chapman, Fairclough, Batty, Whyte, Hodge and Shutt. Oh yes and the Frenchman. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I forgot to mention Mel. aka 'The Flying pig' lol. I didn't get to Bramall Lane that day but was at every home game that season in the Lowfields or South Stand terracing. Great atmosphere from all sides of the ground even the 'cardboard cut-outs' in the West Stand as we referred to them!
