Right this may be a bit of an odd q but-
Can anyone tell me bates' reason to sell up?
It may be that it's ill health or the realisation that football is more money orientated than ever before and bates simply trying to run a Bentley on mondeo budget.
Now seriously does anyone know?

Ok, I've spent the last 12 years buying and managing companies. The situation we find ourselves in today looks to me like it is the buyer not the seller that is causing the delay. If I was buying Leeds, and having to deal with Bates, then I would be very wary about what problems I might get after buying. So I would want warranties for just about everything and I would not want to spend more cash till I knew what I had bought. (Due diligence never uncovers the skeletons) Hence why I would be very careful about raising expectations of fans. - takeover happens millions to spend etc - so given the date I would now complete the deal after transfer deadline, allow NW to make however many loans he wants and then spend money if required when I knew what I'd bought. That would be in the Jan window. The buyer probably wanted to buy us in May or June bu Bates has buggered that by haggling. If I was buying I would now be playing hardball with the old person as above.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a second hand car from Bates without having an army of lawyers go through the contract.

If he stays, he knows he's on a ship that wants to throw him overboard. I can see nothing but mutiny from here on in. Then he could surprise us all and do the one desent thing and sell up.

I have a question of our supposed to be super hot investigative journalists why doesn't someone grow a pair and ask Bates why he won't sign

What makes you think no one has? Why would he tell them even if they did?

Wish people stop making sh*t up about takeover if it happens it happens we managed past 7 years with out big money we are Leeds and we will never be defeated

We are defeated on many occasions

We haven't really managed. We have managed to go into administration, go down to the third tier of English football, followed by player sales, and stagnation in the Championship, all for the fair game price that would put most premier league games to shame.

Now the 3rd post, i would say thats a FACT!!

I have only seen sterling in Liverpool match for 5 mins I'm impressed,Warnock go get him on loan maybe,he's max gradel in disguise, you have to ask yourself if our academy is as good as any in prem, why can't we produce attacking players of that quality, and before some people with the Leeds utd tinted glasses on say what about poleon,he's not in same class as this sterling.

I am actually a Leeds fan,sit in south stand every game, and I am questioning our academy, also I would argue all day with you poleon is not as good as this kid, take them glasses off,I am a realistic Leeds fan, people like you are the reason our expectation level is unrealistic.

Get him on loan? I'm guessing the five minutes you have just watched of him was in the Premier League as Liverpool took on City at Anfield. So Rodgers picks him to start against the current league holders in front of a full house in one of Liverpool's biggest games of the season. Yes...I'm sure Rodgers is desperate to send him out on loan to get some first team experience as he obviously isn't going to get it at Liverpool!

When we was a top premier league team we did but as we dropped down the leagues all the talented player goto bigger teams or have there heads turned.
If you were a top prospect who would you choose Leeds united or man u or city or Chelsea also Chelsea have take our last 3 talented youngster from us.
Look what we produced in the past from our youth teams Woodward before injuries top class. Robinson same also Kelly kewell smith just to name a few.

Nobody has seen Poleon in a league game yet - For all we know he could be as good as Smith ''WAS''. (just incase the Smith police are on) He scores regularly, think he should get a chance. Look at Byram, We didn't know ought about him, but I would say hes the best RB since Kelly and if he keeps improving he could definitely be a good candidate to fill the ever vacant England RB position (Glen Johnson isn't the best)

Tony Fernandes is questioning the same thing on twitter, he said why did we sell sterling for 500k to Liverpool, don't know the facts he could have been soon out of contract etc, but would warnock have been the gaffer then or was it dowie?

He was sold a in Feb 2010 - Warnock arrived in March. 600k rising to £5m on appearances - so they'll get £5m. Fernandes really should be asking Eccleston why he agreed to let him go. It's not like his talent had gone unnoticed - he's been front page news in Jamaica almost since he came out of nappies.
As for Leeds loaning him, sadly I can't see that happening somehow.

Thorgan Hazard is a kid who hasn't played high level competitive football. He's maybe one for the future based on his father, mother and brothers football talent. Why would we bring him here, he's not going to cut it in championship. We need experience and strength to kick our way out of this league. Sure look at how useless Townsend and Smith and Delph were on loan
