Just received an e-mail from lufc offering " free wick ham shirt printing" I wonder if they have nailed down an end of season permanent move. Seems a strange offer to make on a loanee unless they were going to make the move permanent.

Your thoughts please.

I think it there way off saying that they have a agreement in place, I don't think f/l will be happy though its obvious its Cellinios money been spent

I'm pretty sure they did it with the Kebe and Stewart ones aswell, I don't want a 3 month loanee on my shirt lol

Get you to put loan player on your shirt which will be out of date in summer so you go back for another shirt/name.

Yes I agree good signing. Shame we haven't any creativity in midfield to create chances for Him and Mcormack. Needed next someone to replace Austin then we will be looking a bit like a team. JD

Two excellent signings in a week! it is obvious who is bankrolling this so he can't have any concerns about FL decision.

Would love it if true, I have followed wickham and butland for a while due to them being england prospect. can't believe we have got them. Big prospects and i'd like to see leeds keep an english core. Butland, byram, mowatt, wickham and maybe a few more gems from academy + some foreign flair

At last Quality players arriving Butland and Wickham why couldn't this have happened earlier GFH? MOT

YEP reporting the Wickham set to be announced, and the Daily Mail seem to be reporting that its already done, hope so, cracking signing, and would be funny to grab him from under the owls nose. MOT.

This is great news, we know what this lad can do so c'mon BMcD let's not hold him back with boring hoofball.

Now for a decent midfielder to link up the play, Dorrans will do nicely please.

Another very good signing following the capture of Butland, great to see quality coming nto the side at last, definite sign of intent ang good news, now let's hae Cellino confirmed as soon as.

Agree with you wholey, just one more. A midfileider who can link the play. Either that or give Dawson / Mowatt a good spell in the side.

But it does suggest the one in one out really needed to happen. Varney and Green out, Wickham and Butland in.

I would like to see a few things.

1. If by chance Cellino is refused permission by the FL, then I would like to see a detailed explanation from the FL why he has been refused. Not just a simple "did not meet our criteria" that covers everything, but something detailed and specific.
2. Cellino making a public statement that he still intends to continue with the T/O no matter what the FL ask for. This would do two things. One, put our minds at ease that he is not going to walk. Two, let the FL know that he's in for the long haul and will not be put off by what appears to be the extra hoops that they are asking him jump through. If the FL know this they could back off.
3. An answer from the FL if they asked both GFH and Bates for EXACTLY the same information, as they are now asking Cellino for.
4. Then, if they did, how the hell did they approve GFH about 12 months ago when now they appear to be out of funds and have been for several months.

I fully agree that the FL have a job to do, but there seems to be no fixed guides, and they do appear to be making it up as they go along.

Originally, what this fiasco started we all thought that all that mattered was to pass the FPPT test regarding criminal convictions, now it seems that the FL also need to a business plan of how the club will be funded into the future.

If Cellino is not a fit and proper person to buy Leeds because he cannot come up with a valid business plan and his shady past, and he looks to be out to screw the club like everyone else appears to have done over the last years, then I have no problem regarding the time it takes and if he is finally refused.

But there does not appear to be a level playing field, from what we are seeing from the outside.

Some transparency is needed.

Gfh passed because they are an investment bank valued at around 900 mill with no criminal record! I believe they announced quarterly profits of around 5 million the other day

Yeah because of their sale of 75% of leeds. Take that away and they made nothing

GFH still own Leeds so their posted accounts can't have taken that into account. Think before you post.

The 5 million DOLLARS profit is only what GFH haven't put into club since November due to Don Cellini and Flowers loans

I have a wierd feeling that the FL are trying to make up for the cock up of letting Ken Bates and GFH taking over at Leeds in the past 2 takeovers.

FL had asked Cellino to "provide evidence of the source and sufficiency of any funds which that person proposes to invest in or make available to the club."

"focusing on the funding behind his takeover and the financial plan for his first 12 months in control at Elland Road"

surely this wasnt requested by the other 2 buyers, otherwise the takeovers wouldn't have happened.

either that or they are trying to make up a new whole set of rules, with Leeds as the guinea pig, same as when they deducted us 25 points over 2 seasons.

I would for one like to see what info they ask perspective oweners and confirm that they carryout the exact same due diligence with all takepovers that happen. I just have a odd feeling they have it in for us.

Are you trying to suggest the fl is trying to protect cellino? he is already stopping lufc going into administration

I am trying to suggest that the FL are probably changing the rules, because of the failures they have made with regards to past takeovers at Leeds and other clubs.

Its just a bit suspect, that they are doing this now, again, when involved with Leeds.

Cellino's takeover is high profile and due to the nature of his past dealings and actions, the FL are being watched, by all, as to how they are going to allow this chap to run a club over here.

I can understand them asking Cellino for further documenetation because of the above, but if they are still asking GFH to submit documentation, something doesn't sit right with me.

Thought we got 15 point deduction for leaving administration without a cva?

It was the lack of having a CVA which led to the deduction - nothing to do with a takeover
