At half time I was like why don't we bring on Saiz and Lasogga? ! ? Then we bring on Grot instead of Lasogga? ! ? Raging I was then I reminded myself of where we were last year at this stage. I now see where the gaffa was going . A lost game against a very good side away from home, let's bring on Pennington to get some vital match practice in the harshest of conditions, let's get Grot up to speed against tough opponents and let's get Viera back to his best. We weren't going to turn around the defecit against Cardiif in Cardiff with 10 men, why knacker out our A team? Shrewd move TC and while I go to sleep with a heavy heart, I see the plan and I'm sure we will smash Cardiff at home later on. Make the most of bad situation and get everyone up to the level. Still 2nd, still in promotion places with Lasogga and Saiz with that much needed rest . M. O. T.

Newcastle lost 10 and drew 7 last season and won the league, Brighton lost 9 and drew 9 and finished second, it's more or less the same for previous seasons, so if we lose two of every ten games and draw one we will go close, so if TC can learn from this defeat then we will be ok, saying that he obviously didn't learn from the Millwall defeat! I can't understand why Lasogga was on the bench, surely if TC wasn't going to play him he should of sent him home to be with his wife and new born! I would of rather seen him come on instead of Grot! Only my opinion though.

We lost to two teams whose only mission in the season is to beat us, and on both occasions we played poorly and were at fault for their goals. It's not like we lost 5-0 to Burton. Cardiff aren't suddenly Barcelona, they will lose more than us when their physical players come up against footballing teams and don't get every decision their way.

It was the manner we lost Mike, too many senior players didn't turn up. How good is dallas as a impact player but when he starts a game! Not the same on my opinion. Hernandez goes missing for too long. Bit lightweight ad is alioski. Coops drives me mad and Philips scares me to death. I really thought we was going to be down to 9 men tonight

Many tonight were underwhelming but I have to highlight Coopers performance. Why choose tonight to revert to type? He has shown he can play better but tonight he has opened the door wide for Pennington. Even Shaughnessy has shown he can be relied on. Question is will Coops get back in when his ban is over? . There are 2 others which for me have question marks hanging over them. Firstly Alioski who flatters to deceive. He seems to have the skill and so should be beaten with a stick every time he gets the ball and fails to take his man on, even more so if he falls over to cover for his failure. The one who did not obviously play badly (but neither has he instilled much confidence) is Weidwald. He does not look a monster in the nets nor does he Command his box like Attila the Hun.

Its hard to be critical after the way things have gone this season, however tonight I can't help myself. Awful team selection initially, unless o'Kane, Saiz, and lassoga are either injured or been caught in bed with TC's wife, why would you be resting players in a top of the table clash, were only 10 games in and 1 away from another break, if anyone can tell me these professional athletes are "tired" they want to try 50 hours on site then 2 games back to back Saturday and Sunday just for the love of the game. 1st goal down to Clitch, who should not have been a starter, 2nd has question marks over keeper again, Cooper's 2nd assault just defies any logical thought process . TC praises the professionalism of Lassoga re Baby arrival, then promptly drops him in a week when he will be feeling ten feet tall. OK guys rant over, just so disappointed tonight, let's hope we bounce back strong on Sunday. MOT

A pass poor performance today especially in the first half. Passes underhit, overhit, wayward. The only word not applicable is precise. This is not the Leeds who have lit up the division recently so let's just hope it was a combination of, off days for a few and wrong team selection. Shows how important Okane is to the team and his presence helps Phillips, also how quickly Lasogga has settled in. Both missed tonight. TC isn't going to get everything right all the time . Missed Saiz and Lassoga today. Wendies quite a slow team, so we should be able to counter them, like we did v Sunderland and Forest, which should suit us. I'd have Sacko on the bench as an option. Dallas for me showed why he is no more than a sub and we missed Lassoga's presence up top. Don't get resting Saiz because of physicality and then putting Roofe up top alone.

Great summary Spanish I think Coopers Scotland call up had something to do with him playing for himself rather than the Team. As skipper that was a shocker, again morec learnings for TC about adapting against physical direct sides like Cardiff, Millwall. May be a little blessing in disguise with Pennington back think we will look more assured at the back, I also think Lonegran is a more consistent keeper, Felix looks terrible on crosses! But we will come back from this we have far too much talent in the squad to let things slip now 👍

TC says monk didn't adapt to different situations and change his tactics during games, he's played the exact same formation as monk in every single game and not changed it! Totally overrun in midfield tonight again like millwall and bullied from 1 too 11! Vieira is a must start in these away games, Alioski, Klich are not up to it physically. Felt sorry for roofe all alone up front we needed someone who could hold the ball up and link up the play!

For the life of me can't understand why when lasogga made the effort to return from Germany and visiting his family TC does not even use him. This guy has earned his start tonight, just don't get TCs logic must feel like a slap in the face for Lasogga. Poor performance tonight to many off their game, Felix an average keeper, will cost us points this season. No class from Peltier trying to get the ref to send cooper off after the first challenge.

Not good at all, we are playing like we did at Millwall, our keeper is dodgy, our back four are not on the same level, Hernandez is getting kicked off the park, Phillips might as well be out shopping with his Mum, one shot by Alioski which went wide, nothing else! Roofe not big or strong enough for Cardiff, TC has made some bad decisions tonight and it's obvious he hasn't learnt from Millwall, and if this is how getting picked for Scotland does for you play then I would tell Gordon not to call! I think it shows that he does respond to problems and the times when things don't quite work. It's great for the players to see that they can get into the squad and the team. I thought he might start with Saiz and have Hernandez on the bench. What a great bench to have waiting to come on, lots of options! Big game tonight. Good luck to the team, Warnick is not going to be an easy opponent, but I think we will sneak it 1-0, Roofe to take his opportunity!

Just read an article on Sky sports about Leeds . First of all it lays into M C yet again the tone totally berates the guy. We all know that he did not make the best decisions at times and was outspoken. However he has received no credit at all which I believe is wrong . Mr Rad well we really did not know what to expect, I did not see or hear of all as fans cheering when he first became our owner .
