True. Gradel and Snodgrass are not average Championship players. They are good going forward not that good defending. The average/ below average midfielders are Johnson/ Kilkenny. Howson is good going forward but lightweight on the defensive distribution side. With that combination you can score a lot, concede a lot and can't play two strikers from the start. The Leeds team is not balanced. You are not going to win the long haul promotion race with three central defenders ie Bradley/ Neil/ Jonny doing a job that two decent midfielders should do even without injuries/ suspensions. Swansea are a good side having Kilkenny and Howson trying to hold cetre midfield made them look even better. Johnson, with either Howson or Kilkenny, would not have been much better if at all. Look at early season performances. Its not just the back four. It must be a nightmare with that midfield in front of you.

I can't actually believe some of these messages, swansea are a very gd side, very true we were nieve to play 4 4 2 without bradley, but gradel and snodgrass are not average championship players, every review ive watched on tv non leeds utd fans have praised both and stated we have the best wide players in the league so not average

Anyway. .SG does not deserve to be sacked, Swansea are a very good side and will be in the promotion race.
We just need to stick together. It wouldn't hurt Bates to dust off his wallet and get a couple of decent bodies in defence and midfield then there'll be a good shout for promotion. Dont press the panic button just yet guys!

To the earlier blog. Yes we did miss Bradley but only because the overall quality of the midfield is poor. Bradley is slow in pace and thought and although he is strong he lacks quality. Not nearly good enough. Our three midfielders amount to two average championship ones. Howson is good going forward but lightweight elsewhere and Kilkenny has lost form or cannot cope in the championship. Grayson made the huge mistake of playing just two very average midfielders who together would struggle in league one. Playing Bechio AND Somma with Gradel and Snodgass against a strong Swansea midfield was a huge mistake. When I saw the team I predicted a loss but I thought it would have been 4/ 5 rather than just three. It would have made more sense to play Bruce in a holdinfg role and Bromby at the back. I am a big Somma fan but you can't play him with that midfield. If we are to move on and up we need a quality holding midfielder who can pass and a commanding centre back. Will have to look at the full backs in time but you cannot do everything at once.

I was at Swansea yesterday, we where poor, also for all you Bradley Johnson knockers, we missed that kid big style rest assured off that.

Our defence are hopeless, centre halves never win a header and full backs do not want to tackle. Has anyone heard of any possible signings. the whole defence needs to be replaced
