Paul Robinson from Bolton anyone ?(the guardian today)

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Be a good signing if Aidy White leaves -

New RB - Mills - Lees - Robinson

Would be a solid defence, lets hope neil can work some wonders

MOT

Agree5 Disagree0

If we change that much of the defence we will lose the next 4 game for sure so dont be daft . our problem as been changing the squad too much .this season we have been playing howson, becchio and snoddy which were in the regular starting 11 last season and howson as gone.so now u can see why we haven't made an improvement on last season . last season we brought in 12 players or something so thats 2 seasons in a row that we changed too many players .

Agree1 Disagree4

To the first poster, I totally agree. That would be a strong defensive line-up if we could find a quality right-back, a good blend of youth & experience. Could maybe even put Andy OB alongside Mills & play Lees at right-back & it still looks solid.

To the second poster, its the defence that needs sorting so of course it makes sense to try & change it & strengthen, we can't just keep plodding along conceding stupid goals & hoping the defence is gonna come good!

Agree2 Disagree1

Lees was awful at right back when sg played him there

matt mills will sign for leeds on loan tuesday im told, with a knockdown price of 3 million being ironed out between the clubs in the summer.... mills will be followed by shaun derry, and paul robinson in the coming weeks with billy paynter, paul connolly, and paul rochubka and unfortunately aidy white all leaving elland road freeing up money for wages to fund the transfers.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I dong get all these contract talks, maybe white will sign, he should. So many players mess up their career by going to PL and not cut it there. If your'e doing ok like he is then just stay and progress, we will be in PL at some point anyway. If not then go to west brom or something, then either go down or get loaned out to league 1 again. Maybe some people need keep their feet on the ground. MOT.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Its all about the money these days ,i know if i could get 3 or even 4 times as much money elsewhere i would go get it .

Agree3 Disagree0

I can see both sides. If i was offered more money elsewhere for doing my job yes i would consider it, however there are other factors that would come into play such as job satisfaction, worklife, quality of company etc. If i was to look at it as a footballer a bit more money but not playing at a club with bad team spririt etc i would take the lower amount which is still more than enough to live off for the higher job satisfaction. However if I was offered better money, guarenteed game time, chance to progress as a football, chance of winning trophies at a club with good team spririt, good fans etc of course i'd move. Ultimately if that is offered there is nothing that can be done from our side, as long as we have made the best attempt to keep him at the club as possible.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah but if he improves ledds will pay him more, so its up 2 him. These guys get loadsa money anyway. Local lads earning 5k a week or more should be counting there lucky stars. I played for chorley and got £60 a week and i was buzzin.

Tottenham loanee Adam Smith back at WHL.

Source: O/S {Ed013's Note - That's 3 players gone back from there loans, so there will be money in the pot for Mr Warnocks loan players}

Talks between Leeds and Leicester about the loan signing of Matt Mills are at an advanced stage. What a signing that would be!

Source: SNN

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Terms agreed by both clubs just waiting for Mills to decide if he wants to become a white

Bit worrying how many leicester fans are saying how poor he is

well done to darren o'dea on winning irish
young player of the year!
MOT!

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Would love to see his competition if he was the winner

Agree8 Disagree0

Honestly cant believe this either. if this is the case, the future looks dim for Ireland

Agree8 Disagree0

James McClean? Shane Long?

Agree2 Disagree0

I find that amazing....lke the post...id like to see his competition

Agree3 Disagree0

I take you guys didn't watch any of Ireland euro campaign odea was class for the Irish. It dose help playing alongside class like Richard dunne not muck like Leigh bromby, Connolly, o brien. I am a Leeds fan and you guess it Irish as well

Agree3 Disagree0

Wish him well and be happy for him as he plays for us

Agree2 Disagree0

I'm both a Leeds and Ireland fan and O'Dea getting that award just shows that even someone with not an ounce of talent can make it has made a complete joke out the award has no no worth what so ever now.

Agree0 Disagree1

I can think of a lot worse center backs then o'dea get behind the team bunch of whingers

Agree2 Disagree0

True O'Dea was awful when he first started as a left back but since he was switched to centre back I think that he has improved week on week and he appears to be a solid centre-back and well done for winning! My question would be is Tom Lees good enough. He seems to have wained a bit in the last few games and now might be time to introduce someone else at CB- Bruce/Brondby and put Connolly back in at right back, or Thompson. He plaed well the 3 games or so the he played right back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a leeds and Ireland fan, Darren played very well for Ireland in 2011. Had a great game in Russia and hasnt put a foot wrong in any of his games. Stop all your bleedin moaning and get behind your players. MOT

Ben Parker is back at Leeds his loan has finished at Carlisle. Seam a strange 1 with NW wanting players of the wage bill and Carlisle wanting him!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

How else would Warnock get a chance to see him up close before his contract runs out in the summer? This way gives him and warnock a chance to see if they fit together and if he has a future at Leeds.

Agree3 Disagree3

Parker will soon be gone once Warnock's seen him in "action"!

Agree8 Disagree1

Ben Parker is so underrated I also thought he was quality. He should be Left Back and Aidy White should be left midfield

Agree1 Disagree9

Rubbish mate, Parker can NOT defend to save his life!

Agree4 Disagree0

I think a fair reflection of what Neil Warnock cam achieve with the current players he has inherited can only be shown over a season. However, as this is not possible and I'm mindful that I would hate to get to the prem and come straight back down the following season because were not good enough, better let NW bring in his own players and next season go for it. That's if he'll stay which hopefully he will

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Look this season is a right off thanks to Grayson so now it's about enjoying watching Leeds giving the lads our full support and no negativity on match days and seeing what happens that’s it, this will allow us to build for next season giving NW a chance to get to know the potential of the squad

Agree4 Disagree1

Isn't that what I just said albeit more eloquently lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Still a chance look at reading last season .If we did go up and come down we would be better off than we are now as its worth 90 mil

Agree1 Disagree0

This season is a "write off", 5 points off the playoffs ive never heard so much carp in my life

Agree2 Disagree0

Its only 4 points and 7 goals we need to be level with 6th which is cardiff and come on there defo gonna drop points before end of season

Agree0 Disagree0

We might only be 4 points off a play off with 13 games to play. We might beat Peterborough at home but look at the rest of the teams we play. I'd love us to win all 13 but I just can't see us winning many more. I hope I am wrong and we do win most.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lets have some dam faith for once?

Bates has got Warnock in and things are happening, give them a bl**dy chance??

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2012 12:46:45
hopefully leeds will go on a run like reading did last season they was 9th after 33 games with 47 points and 54 points was playoff spot which was leeds. this season we have played 33 games 49 points and playoffs are 53 points and reading didn't start there run until there 35th game. so heads up and MOT................

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Thats a great point anything is possible we can go on a run we do have some good players that need to believe in themselves although we do need 2 0r 3 quality players but ive got a feeling we are going to do the saints Saturday and that will give them belief they have been very lucky with some of the goals they have scored

Agree7 Disagree0

We are no where near as good as that Reading side that's the only problem,Plus the fact off top end teams being more constant than last year,I'm looking to next year if I'm totally honest hopefully Neil will still be in charge,Which I think he will .A full pre season and the chance to bring in his own players will give us a real chance,I also thing Bates will back Neil in a way we have not seen him do be4.

Agree2 Disagree0

Well Bates really does need to back him, otherwise there was no point sacking Grayson.

Agree2 Disagree0

Fair point at the moment but if we go on abetter run they will say we were better funny things happen in football but i do agree with you at this present time hopefully saterday will be that turning point

Agree1 Disagree0

Bates has a proven record of Backing Leeds managers clear example of this Blackwell and then Grayson lg1, some people like to pretend they forgot that though.

Agree1 Disagree2

If the top teams are consistant then why is the gap is only 4 points. Playoff teams have been dropping as many points as us

Agree0 Disagree0

But as yet they have not dropped a lot of points to us! Hope that can change saturday. We are LEEDS!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2012 11:10:14
How can you disagree with that post? Oh i forgot any big crowd at E.R. lines bates pocket. Begining to despair about leeds fans now!.

Believable3 Unbelievable8

I think the answer to this is simple. We either want to support the team o r we don't. Bates is going nowhere until someone gives him the amount of money he wants for the club. That's business. Protests and negativity like it or not effect the players. However getting behind the boys like the last 25 minutes against Doncaster shows what the crowd can do to lift the players...... Let's forget the war with Bates and get behind the manager and players which just might get Bates to open up the purse strings {Ed013's Note - Well said}

Agree7 Disagree3

Public accounts show that KB hasn't taken any money out of Leeds United AFC. So all this talk of him filling his pockets with club money is ridiculous and incorrect.

Agree4 Disagree1

But not investing either, just using player sales to finance his plans, thus poor signings and dross football,

Agree1 Disagree1

Explain the unusually large amount spent on 'other' then...

Also - who really owns the ground? Loads of money is going to offshore companies whose owners can't be traced because, in places like the British Virgin Islands, you can hide a company's ownership in ways which UK law doesn't allow.

If it's all above board why won't he tell us? Why did he conceal the club's ownership for a few years?

All very dodgy, and the appointment of a half-decent manager doesn't change any of that.

Agree2 Disagree0

Original poster wants to talk to rangers or portsmouth fans!!! at least the club is on its feet takes time to build a solid club

Agree1 Disagree1

You ever run a company, if you have a copy of the account go through them and make sure every item that will be a cost to Leeds if not then it will be in "OTHER" you cant physically put down every item. Any wages of fees to him would be in as Bates or a company name. you can buy them online to check fully if you have no copy

warnock wants 30,000 at saints game som lets give him it!

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Why nw so interested in crowds,or filling the ground, sounds like a bates plan to me,god we are getting shafted i tell you that now warnock will be gone at the end of the season with some bs story, while bates laughs all the way to the bank,

Agree2 Disagree9

Sounds like the x files!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Nw wants a big crowd because he has been at er and he no,s that when we get behind the team it is like haveing an extraman so stop talking b.....s he is trying to lift everyone and in my opinion he is doing a good job if we dont go up this year than so be it but dont tell me he has not tried and he is going to sod off this is the biggest job he has ever had and beleive me he will want to succeed thats why he is in football. ive played football and most players and managers want to be the best and they hate loosing so dont post crap

Agree7 Disagree1

No sounds like clever bates to me, warnock has said more then once since he's been manager, if i don't get the support of the fans i'm off,now wants 30.000 plus at s'ton game, why he so concerned about attendances?,and if he don't want to be our manager then let him go, we would say the same about a player if he didn't want to play for us so why should we let a manager get away with saying the same,

Agree2 Disagree6

Na mate, its called supporting your team

Agree4 Disagree1

To Mr negative and paranoid poster number 3 - go and support someone else for gods sake - off with you and your kind ...and look up the word 'support' while your at it bud

Agree5 Disagree4

No you go, i have supported this club for 38 years, but i don't support bates who will leave us in dept, but fans like you will destroy this club be supporting bates in the long run, also not negative but got a good memory for lies and broken promises, unlike some who are too quick to forget, so jog on sheep, bah bah

Agree2 Disagree4

People attending games will NOT destroy the club. I just hope you and your type still don't come when we're back in the Premiership.

Agree3 Disagree1

How about leaving the southampton game at 4.40. One hundred minutes after kick off to remember the one hundred million pounds risdale left us in debt?

Agree3 Disagree3

Supporting bates will destroy this club, he got lucky with chelsea as they were in debt badly, we might not be so lucky, and how can you believe anything that bates says he's lied to us for 7 years ,snoddy will go next, along with anyone else who will finance his plans, but anyway will always be leeds was b4 you and, already have the next generation here to carry on,so, bates out bates out,

Agree2 Disagree3

Don't want another risdale, but believing bates propaganda, will get us nowhere, but you know what they say, you tell enough lies long enough and eventually they will be true, thats bates way, uses programmes and yep to spread his lies, but hey, you believe his lies,i and MY KIND as you put if will know the truth, you and your kind will follow the sheperd, bah bah

Agree2 Disagree2

Just a quick point I have never known KW to be a puppet so why would he start now? obviously his words and thoughts and not KB. Some people are either so deluded with hatred that they can’t see the fantastic good work that KB has done and is doing or they don’t support Leeds United AFC and are just on the wind up!

Agree1 Disagree1

I fear that the Anti Bates character is so wide of the mark - Every Leeds United manager wants to fill Elland Road for obvious reasons - I'm not going to state what they are cos it's so bloody obvious. How can we already mistrust NW because of a positive remark like that - this anti Bates character is a lost soul if he picks on remarks like that - pull yourself together man!! This is my first posting.

Agree1 Disagree1

When will the "Bates out" idiots finally realise that whatever they say/do will have no positive bearing on this club whatsoever. The chants have turned into a whisper over the last few games and the tiny minority who try and protest are drowned out by the vast majority who get behind the team. Why not accept that what has been done has been for the good of the club instead of looking for conspiracy theories that don't exist! I am sure that the Bates haters would rather see us relegated than admit that maybe they are wrong about him!

Agree2 Disagree1

We could fill the ground easily, reduce the prices simple.

Agree2 Disagree0

I posted the x files thing. Am i paranoid poster 3?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip KB is the chairman, deal with it. Your like a bunch of school children squabbling and planning a revolt on the club with your "7 minutes for 7 years" carp. Let them get on with running the club and use your energy in supporting the team instead of this petit childish vendetta you have with Bates. Its boring me and im guessing its boring Bates even more.

MOT

Agree5 Disagree2

No not you mate - the x files post has a sense of humor - tis the miserable disgruntled silly lost soul who moans on and on - yet sadly will never see it or change - dogs tricks etc

Agree0 Disagree0

DThanks for that. Been supporting the boys for over 45 years and must admit todays crowd has forgotten the basic thing...... we are LEEDS!!!
