I'm not having a go at fellow Leeds fans but I was amazed at start of season that a few on here, quite a few, basically said to pension him off. He's way past it. Can't run. Best days behind him. We need younger players. I'm pretty sure you know who I'm talking about. The MVP in the championship!

Personally don’t have a clue who you’re on about on this occasion Corky!?

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 21:03:48
Yeh me neither!

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 21:05:12
Definitely don’t want to be without him on Saturday, Corky😳been inspirational this season.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 01:21:33
Pablo? I can't recall anyone wanting him pensioned off.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 07:42:15
I am genuinely confused.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 09:06:11
Wtf? That was definitely a Sunday afternoon post.

Pension Henandez off!

Nobody said that

He is younger than Strachan was. Why would any Leeds fan have said that?

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 10:29:53
Because that’s what some said on here pre season. We need younger fitter players and he can’t last the 90 minutes or words to that effect.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 11:54:31
Yep, some did say we need fitter players, but no one said we don't want/ need Henandez

Wanting younger?
With the splurge on young "players for the future" last season I don't think any supporter wanted more of the

Wanting fitter players is obvious, and I am not sure how you can attack that. And the beauty of this desire is that the same player can actually get fitter. see the new regime

And it's not like Henandez was a slouch last year!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 12:02:16
tbh looking at Pablo last season and even part of the season before I was in agreement with that Corky as he always looked jaded and exhausted during games, particularly if he had played a few in a row.

However, he has certainly surprised me with his fitness this season so happy to be proven wrong. maybe he is just playing more intelligently so as not to get worn out, or perhaps he has got fitter this year i don't know but long may he continue.

Hopefully this is down to MBs training methods and tactics and not the attitude of the player which would have been disappointing. If he carries on this form and fitness he can stay for many years to come.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 12:08:12
Can't remember that being said.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 13:46:33
I know what I read. I’ll have to take notes of names in the future!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 14:47:36
Probably just me Corky!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 16:40:49
Well at least someone put their hands up!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 17:18:29
TBH, Pablo always looks knackered 😁.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 19:06:13
He did have a very bad run in away games where he was muscled out of it and looked knackered so I remember quite a few calling for him to play home games and sit out (or use as an impact sub) in away games. I thought that was right based on last years games but we have so much more possession this year home and away that he can weave his magic all the time.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 16:02:06
The next challenge for MB is consistency. We have proved in games that we can turn it on. Everyone at some pint has shown that he has the skill base it just cannot be relied upon. At times a completely flat team turns up relying on an inspiring halftime team talk but by that time we are already a goal down and having to chase the game.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 16:21:23
Too true Leo. Once I have a couple 🍺 I can't be relied upon either!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 16:23:38
My skill base always increases with a pint. 🤔🍻.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 16:46:04
Sorry leodis but you can't be top of the league for months without being consistent so kindly cop yourself on with this post.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 17:00:08
Leodis, we have won more games than anyone in the league, only one team has drawn less games than us, only two teams, Norwich and Middlesbrough have lost less games than us, by one! We have the 2nd best goal difference in the league! In one of the most competitive leagues in Europe, I think that’s quite good. Not sure anybody has had better consistency over the year so far!

I know what you mean but teams can see how we play, setting their stall out to stop us and sometimes it works, but only West Brom have really put us to the sword this year. Hull, possibly, but with luck we could have got something from that and the other defeats.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 20:20:30
Bang on Wex. Leodis I’ll have what your having mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 20:52:13
The little point I was trying to make was our flat performances for part of the game, being redeemed by playing our "get out of jail card". These will not last forever. Maybe I am being greedy and maybe I do want perfection but I wish we would start as we mean to go on and stop giving away the first goal then take the rest of the half to get going.

Yes, I know we are top and I know to get there the stats have to be in our favour. I guess I just want us to destroy every team from the first whistle (wishful thinking). I am, in fact, waiting for us to show just how good we really are and make one team wish they had never got out of bed. Consistency would have us playing the first half, like we did the second half last Saturday.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 21:05:27
Ok mate but let’s not forget Norwich are the queen of late goals.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 12:11:10
ive said plenty of times we seem to start slow and often concede before getting going which we need to address. i think some of our success is based on higher fitness levels and posession play tiring the opposition out. if so that would maybe explain how we are overcoming teams in the second half as they tire and seemingly starting slower. if we could just stop conceding the early goals and then playing our best stuff second half that would be fine but doesn't look to be happening.

Disgraceful goings on at Millwall and very unsporting behaviour from their Manager. Over to you Mr Harvey.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 14:38:48
What that family club of the year from london. Total disgrace and the whole football totally silent. Spygate in the news for weeks and they still calling for our blood. Let's see what sanctions talk sports Jim white and the Stuart pearces of this world want for millwall fc. Probably 10 points less than us!

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 14:53:29
They will probably burden them with the ten points they take from us.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 16:36:20
They are a Capital side so nothing will happen to the "Stanley Knives".

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 18:45:39
Have you seen the picture of the bloke that got slashed? from just by his eye to his mouth, police made no arrests 🤔.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 19:16:52
Stuck in the 90,s. But I'm sure Harvey and co will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 20:27:02
What are we saying? Milwall should be docked points for what some scumbag did. We’re being a bit hypocritical if we imply that.

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 20:46:26
Not saying that Cork, you can't control what goes on outside the ground. But you know like me as a Club they have got away with more misdameaners than any other Club for years, so for them to be one of the 11 against us is so hypocritical to say the least.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 21:05:21
No corky, as it's been said you can't control what goes on away from the ground, but the racist change from their fans inside the ground was disgraceful. Then the pious millwall manager Harris screaming to not show replays of the handball, and then comes out with he hasn't seen it. Fair play and all that BS towards another team goes out the window when it applies to them, but he was very vocal on the spy gate crap and wants us punished.

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 22:14:28
All I’m saying is don’t be so quick to judge and then get on your high horse when someone says something about us.
Personally I couldn’t care less what the likes of Harris say about Leeds. This whole spygate rubbish is being kept going by Leeds fans as much as anything else. Let’s think, worry about promotion and not Milwall or spy b.s. or Scottish one on sky.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 09:14:54
Show me the way to go home. I'm tired and I wanna go to bed. I had a little drink about. well you know the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 10:33:14
Haha Martyn. You have a point there mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 12:47:27
Dan James, valued by Swansea at £12M WTF? TBH I'd never heard of him before we got linked to him, that does seem a LOT of loot. Swansea, you're in the Championship now.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 13:27:13
That means Jack Clarke is around 50 million worth then.

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 15:05:59
Can see this transfers coming off but we won't pay 12 million. Bielsa really wants this player and I think his file on him that we saw on his power point presentation proves that. Think Radz will back him.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 01:32:22
Mezzanine I can. For approximately £6m. I believe he will be a Leeds player next week.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 12:14:41
we will probably try to get him for a lower initial amount which increases depending on performances and a sell on clause to land this window without having to break the bank. George could be right with a £2.5/ 3m upfront rising to around £6m if he does well.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 13:43:39
Alf Think the deal will be more like £5m now, £1m in later add-ons.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 17:21:40
£6M rising to £10M apparently! !

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 11:23:36
Does Pablo have a hamstring injury?

If so who would replace him for Norwich game?

What line up?

Whoever God puts out we will still beat them. 3-0 no problems.

Klitch as a number 10.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 13:24:45
He was holding his thigh when he went off yesterday, mb said he was struggling with it before the Derby game, thought he was great for us yesterday, always wanted the ball, must’ve touched the ball 3 times more than any other player in the 2nd half. would be a huge loss to us, with no replacement that springs to mind.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 15:30:13
His hip grion area he was holding.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 15:49:46
In my opinion Pablo is god and JC is his footballing son put in this earth to show us the way to the promised land! So no one can replace God!

But don’t write off Roberts. His last two performances under 23s and Sat have been strong, lots of energy. With Pontus back and Phillips available for midfield we have a few more options. More if Douglas is available as well.

I think we will look after Mr Pablo this week, lots of massages, easy on the training. At the press conference, Bielsa will cry as he announces he’s unlikely to play. Then he will play and make 2 goals and score Another. Because that is what is written in the book!

If you can’t tell, I’m in the peacock enjoying an nice pint or two of silver king!

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 16:13:54

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 19:47:11
Up to speed? I’d be hoping we’d but a professional footballer who is match fit. Sorry Mart but I don’t understand the up to speed statement.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 22:18:27
Agree Corky, players getting tens of thousands of pounds a week they should be professional enough to be fit and clever enough to understand tactics. Couple of games to gel should be no problem.

28 Jan 2019 12:30:26
I didn't realise Paul Daniels was also a top footie coach.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 11:19:10
Hi guys, was PJs ban just a one game ban? Think we need to have him back in defence and KP back in midfield for the Norwich game. Any news on Hernandez, heard he come off injured.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 13:03:27
Yes it was.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 13:25:20
Who would you drop to put Kp back in midfield? . be a tough call that.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 13:29:28
If pablo is injured Forshaw pushes on and KP holds.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 13:32:49
Think we have to put Clarke back to impact sub unless Hernandez is out injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 19:53:04
I’d play Clarke. He’d be extremely keen to improve on yesterday’s performance. After all he wants to keep his place. Can see him over running their fullback Lewis or the lad on the other side if changed. Or that’s what a Norwich fan told me if truth be told!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 12:32:05
why not play KP further up the field and keep Forshaw where he is most effective? He (KP) has been a more attacking midfielder in the past.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2019 09:55:58
So Norwich have the away dressing room painted pink to hopefully lower the visitors testosterone levels. Nothing unsporting there against your fellow teams then?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 11:12:37
Bunch of hypocrites. Norwich painting walls pink. Harris screaming at his own staff to remove footage of handball off big screen. Brentford head butting player who falls into their dugout. All will claim part of the game. Double standards of the highest order.

I could actually see George creating a second profile just to agree with his own opinions ;D.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alf Already had that idea, only I wouldn't go half baked. I'd create like 20 extra profiles and tell everyone how brilliant and wonderful I am.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jan 2019 13:47:02
Cork Notts' opinion mirrors my own on most if not all matters LUFC and football generally. Plain to see he's a clever bloke educated to Master's degree level my guess.

Morning lads,

Aussie day here yesterday and after a beer and pool party, this old body needed sleep badly. Went to bed and covered me head and didn't awake till 80th minute. It's so good when Leeds grab late winners. Have now watched the highlights and the vlogs complied by both teams fans and omg how good was that support once again . To watch so many old whites dancing and on their feet singing Klich is scoring goals was bloody excellent. The RUFC Vlogger said those Leeds fans set the tone for how all fans should support their teams. Happy days MOT.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

27 Jan 2019 07:27:06
That is so funny sydleeds because that is exactly my day yesterday. For all those northern hemisphere peoples to know Australia day is always hot and sticky and alcohol is drunk like or instead of water. I had to force myself to wake up with a hangover during the 2nd half and stayed awake until the end. So pleased for klich too. Kiko too will grow quickly and hopefully with a few bodies coming back in we may have options for team instead of it picking itself. And still we are top. Let's hope next week all our anger against norwich being one of the 11 objectors is shown on the pitch only. Surely we do not need to bring more trouble to our door. Time to be level headed and gloat when we win 1 nil. MOT.
