I managed to see Del Fabro play a few times and he always looked assured and clearly had potential. The Sunderland game was an example. Even then he was better than some of the others that were higher up the pecking order. Redfearn was, and is, an old fashioned type of English coach with dogmatic views on what a centre half should be like and how they should play. Del Fabro didn't fit into his narrow view and didn't really get a chance. There is no excuses for the sick note six but you can understand why frustration might get the better of a young lad when faced older heads acting in that way. He could have done better at Leeds if he had been given the opportunity.

Posted yesterday about my opinions on players and didn't get much result but not to worry I'll do as I promised, I know my fans are keen πŸ˜‚ Think I'll move on to right back in today's article πŸ™„. For me it's ayling all the way, the lads a bargain for 500K, Best Buy from last season by a mile for the value. There are alternatives though which TC has considered. Anita could play there and has done with moderate success, and previously been very highly rated there.

I like him and he's very good at reading the game, good passer of the ball too, may start there against Bolton. Thirdly it's berardi, for me this ones a little less likely as he's more important for LB cover, so for that reason I'd say he's out of the question, unless we decide to sign a LB then he's probably guaranteed that spot over Denton. What are your thoughts?

I'll reply so you don't feel like Billy no mates. It's Berardi for me. Or Ayling but Ayling can shuffle across when needed

Grimes for me or cooper. you know how much I love cooper! I'd go with those two, though Pontus was a bargain, more expensive but still a bargain

Said last year that Berardi was probably the superior RB but Ayling gets forward better. Looking at how TC wants us to play, with width, pace and FB's running beyond the wingers, Ayling is a no brainer for me.

Cheers lads, blood from a stoneπŸ˜‚ Got to say cooper is a strong contender. Heard grimes is going to spurs to replace walker for Β£43m, performances in a Leeds shirt justify the price tag

I would play berahdi. Ayling. Pontus. And one other. In what ever position suits. Berahdi as r or lb and ayling as rb or cb

I found your original post a bit confusing tbh! In the RB berth it's Ayling for me.

Wex you been too close to the nail varnish remover again? They want rid because he's no where near premium league standard and nothing but average in this league

Martyn is right. Time to buy Wells was 3 years ago. McDermott had a chance to do so for us for around 600k but rejected it because he was pathetic. Buying Wells now for 5m+ is idiotic. Best to keep hold of Wood but anything around 20m offered I'd sell. Replacing him won't be easy though.

A massive NO to wells. Not good enough, and slagged us too much last year.

So does this prove that redfern has no idea about anything? Del Fabio (was that his name? ) just signed a 5yr deal with juve and seen as a stolewart for the future! kept out of the side against bottom quality 2nd division sides by cooper! Oh Neil, think the next sentence you mutter at ER should be "do you want fries with that?

Redfearn is a terrible coach and gets far too much credit for the academy. The likes of Cook were there years before he joined.

We need to forget about Kyle Bartley monk as gone so he's not coming to lufc he only wanted to play for monk. Don't get me wrong the lad did well for lufc . but we need to look forward now

Swansea apparently after Wood, how about Β£17mill plus Bartley or no deal. that would set us up in defence with enough left to buy a good striker.
