Anyone think Matt Derbyshire would be worth a look. Available on a free, played well against us at ER?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

On that theory we would be trying to sign most of the division

Agree0 Disagree0

He did look good against leeds but he has not been very prolific the past few seasons. Matt smith has proved to be more prolific than him. I would rather have blackstock back or even james Vaughan or chris o'grady.
I hope we are still after ben pringle and kieran agard, they are both quality players. Agard scored 26 goals last season

Ali Al-Habsi getting disillusioned at playing second fiddle to Scott Carson, could he be on Leeds radar?

Hi Ed

What is the date for the hearing re the latest winding up petition?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - 9th June I think}

This is with the chap who is sitting in a Dubai jail at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

No wonder Celino didn't pay the guy off.

Agree0 Disagree0

So the money he apparently loaned LUFC could have been embezzled from GFH!!
On this proviso shouldn't the court case be suspended UNTIL the outcome of Haighs trial (as per Cellinio takeover)?

With the world cup coming up just thought who you thought were the best Leeds players to play for England.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

My fave was sniffer but I imagine big jack will get a lot of plaudits

Agree0 Disagree0

Best Leeds player ever to play for England was probably David Seaman albeit he wasn't at our club at the time. Another one of our silly errors.

Agree0 Disagree0

In 1974 I remember backing the Scotland side in the world cup. England hadn't qualified, and the cream of LUFC were in blue. Can't see that ever happening again though; I've learned since then that no Scotsman would EVER root for an England side. Shame, really.

Agree0 Disagree0

. but, to answer the question; Batty or Big Jack. (Sniffer and Hunter had too much competition to really shine).

Dorigo or batty both underrated .

Tony currie

Terry Cooper should have got far more than 20 caps. A class left back.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with Cooper and Charlton, not much in it.

Michael Ricketts some how got a game for England although not when he was with us. I wasn't around to see Revies team of the 70s so I would have to say Batty although Dorigo & Woodgate were great players too. When I were a kid I always thought Chris Fairclough should have been given a chance - I thought he were brilliant.

Hey Eds,

Dont have to put this on the site, just wondering if you could take the ads off that auto-play on every page, used to love browsing the site for hours but everytime I visit a page the videos play with full audio etc. So i'm pretty much never here now

Just wondering if you had any control over this?

Cracking job btw, will always pop by!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - we don't have any control over that, though it is meant to remember if you turn the sound off and the next time you come on to the site it should be silent.}

Try Adblock, works perfectly for me.
