Good to see Captain Super Cooper made the EFL team of the week :) Mebbe it'll shut a few people up

Not really. God knows who picks the team. Failed managers? Redfearn? Nobody with a great deal of sense if Cooper is in it. He's doing ok but there far better CH's in the division

Not like Barnsley threw wave after wave of attacks at us, they were bloody awful, I don't remember any of the defence having a great deal to do, they couldn't string 3 passes together

Funny how Cooper started the season well against "so called lesser teams", then had a bad run against better sides and then played ok against Barnsley on Saturday, (who were useless) . It's only my opinion, but I think and have always thought that Cooper is very unreliable and just not good enough for us.

Bang on Wex. i'd even say Cooper has been our best defender so far this season.

No disrespect to anyone's opinions on here but it was the players who voted for Cooper as captain, which says it all really. Personally I think he has improved immensely and is a worthy captain who leads the team well. It's easy to point a finger at a defensive player and call them dog s**t when a goal is conceded but sometimes it's worth looking at the bigger picture, did the midfield or attack give the ball away too cheaply and not track back? Did another player get caught out of position and a defender have to come across. It's a team game and when we concede it's very rarely down to one individual. Coops for president! MM

Bang right, on all counts MM. except maybe the president bit. unless it was president of the Samu Saiz fan club, of course.

I am somewhat puzzled as to why we brought in Cibicki and Klitch gave them 3/4 year contracts and don't use them on match days in the team or on the bench. If it's Christensen, s wish not to use them then why are they not given a run out with the U23,s. Though he doesn't use these two experienced players he persists with the raw under performing Grot who appears to give nothing to the team.

Agree. Klich looked good against Burnley, he wasn't as impressive at Leicester then had a poor game v Cardiff away (he certainly wasn't on his own there! ) . I would at least like to see him on the bench. Cibliski on the other hand looked average at best in the 2 cup games, like you say though, some game time with the under 23's just for match fitness seems logical for both.

Grot only really played because of the injury to Ekuban - we had no other cover for the striker role. If Ekuban stays fit he will be the number 1 with Lasogga as back up from now on and we probably won't see Grot again.

Sad to see the Klisch posted video. Sad but understandable. It must be so frustrating for players to move to a club and then get no game time. To see others who you thought were below you in the pecking order, get chosen. When he has played I thought he looked decent with some good touches, just needing game time. Unfortunately for him the move has not quite worked out which is sad but when you join a team that at one time could nearly field a team of midfielders you know you have a battle on your hands. I hope we get a good Cup run and he can show his skills and force his way through, unfortunately that is the problem of the squad system, there is always someone who will regularly miss out. But then it is up to them to knuckle down on the training pitch and make it so the manager cannot drop him.

Two wins and one loss out of 3 games is a much more acceptable return than recently. If we keep that up I would be happy for TC to stay on.

Yep I remember a brief one sided debated at work over " the rumours". Made it quite clear there was no bad mouthing a great man and a great player. Saddens me he's not really given credit for what he put in place for Wales. I know Coleman tries to do that. I've a lot of time for him too.
