Forestieri the worlds greatest player who Leeds should have signed according to a few on this site! Can't have played today?

Slight exaggeration kjc. At least he fired the Wendies to the playoffs. Wednesday will be top 4 next season. At this rate we are bottom 4.

And Tom Lees, the new Beckenbauer, at fault for the goal? That can't be true.

And Sol Bamba the lost brother of Marcel Desailly?

Wendies significantly better than us dudes.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed when we signed Chris wood, I was hoping for Ibrahimovic.

Very short sighted view if you can't see that Foresteri would have made a significant difference to our team. George is right, Wednesday will be challenging next season.

$100 says we finish above wendies next season.

I was a bit disappointed when we got GFH and Cellino.

I wasn't disappointed with cellino. It was always going to take some time to get it right . Granted he's not helping himself either.
I really hope we finish above Wednesday, however I really can't see it so if that 100 bet is out there to anyone I'll have a bit of that too .

I have read that FFP rules are changing and will be relaxed so probably won't affect at all.

29 May 2016 10:17:42
Speaking of FFP, what happened with QPR and their£60M fine?
Last I heard they were going to court but I haven't seen anyting since the start of the season.

I think Wex is saying what happens next season. Hooper is on 32k a week. Can they maintain the squad while paying out such high wages?

Totally agree Deda.
I assume you're from Sheffield with a username like that.
I'm from Doncaster and have always hated both Sheffield clubs, don't know why.
Small town complex probably! 😀
I mean Robin Hood airport's official name is Doncaster-Sheffield airport, IT'S 25 MILES FROM SHEFFIELD!
Not that it bothers me like, I'm just saying.

I live in Sheffield but was born in Headingey and raised I Bradford. Moved here 20 years ago to go to uni. Never really cared about either of them to be honest, but love it when you can see them visibly spit venim when I say who I support. Wendy bug me more than the other lot. Agree with you about the airport just a sad way to say they have an airport.

According to Adam Pope new board director Nicola Barratieri is part of Abu Dhabi finance group who are major shareholders in GFH. I had hoped they were being marginalised .

Hi guys I don't know if you guys have been watching the David Haigh interviews on Yorkshire tv but part three is out now and It really does show what Massimo inherited and I now have a little sympathy for him. Although not how he conducts himself with managers I might add! On a lighter note I have been racking my brain during those interviews as watching David Haigh reminds me of someone and it just dawned on me GORDON RAMSEY, not to look at but his bouncy body language and his voice. Tell me what you think. I bet that's all you think of when you listen to him now lol.

Two questions that need asking to David Haig. 1) Who actually owns Elland Road or 2) Who owns Teak trading.
If evasive then point blank. Is it Ken Bates (or a Ken Bates Company) .
You were there. You had access to papers. You had access to financial info. No waffle, no "subject to litigation". Spill the beans. If it's all so straightforward then after all these years someone would have stepped forward to say no big deal it's me. but so far?

Steve Evans is in turmoil at the moment! Should he remain? Or go for out? Personaly i'm voting Out!

Personally I think Evans name should go on the referendum poll papers. Let's all have a say should he stay in or should he exit. I know it's pushing it a bit but why not put the top half dozen candidates on the EU form. I bet the reverse of the sheet is blank so wouldn't cost a lot for double sided printing.

Hears a thing?
All these managers turning us down ( I don't blame them, probably worried they will be sacked after 2 months! ) what if. cellino then offers the job to Evans and he Turns it down! Then we will be a stream without a paddle?

Wouldnt be at all surprised if agents of these said managers have approached MC to get their men in the spotlight! Guess who's interested in my client? Yes Leeds Utd! Well he'll stay for a new 3 year deal, let's see now? How about tripling his salary and of course my cut also!

Big Stevie is in his rights to tell silly-ino to F right off when he's eventually offered his current job . After everyone else has given us back-word.

Bristol? Better option than Leeds?

WTF!

28 May 2016 05:58:41
Just thinking
Says a lot for Bristol and dons managers that they staying in safe jobs. Don't want to risk the sack. Not really brimming with self confidence is it. They obviously don't think they are capable of a big job like Leeds. Small Club managers. Don't need them sort.
Shame about Pearson.
Not impressed with bookies list. Keep the Fatman for a while I say. Give him contract to Xmas so won't cost too much if he fails and if he does ok. Give him pay rise at Xmas.
Sorted.

Aus, I could not agree less.
I think they turned us down because Cellino hasn't got a pot to piss in, and probably told them that Cook and Taylor would have to be sold before they (sorry, Cellino) could spend money on new players.
IMO if Evans is in charge at the start of next season it shows that Cellino is now so toxic that no one wants to work for him!
My glass isn't even half full now, it is completely empty! 😞.

Agree2 Disagree1

28 May 2016 08:58:17
Ausman, Robinson and Clarke are small time managers but this is the calibre that Cellino is going for. The worrying thing is that they are turning him down not the club and now we will be stuck with a foreign nobody who does not understand English football or the Championship. When you treat people poorly as Cellino does only the desperate will work for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 May 2016 09:01:23
Dan, why would you say that? All players have their price be it at Leeds or anywhere else it is the way of things today, money talks. So if Mad dog MC did get offers for say 12m for cookie, 12 m for Taylor then you would have to think very hard but up to now he has not sold the family silver on the cheap and no evidence that he won't spend this summer ( opposite really due to the refund on ST approach) .

You may be right to a degree about people working for MC, but if you offer people the right amount of money, back them in transfers ( and like why will he not, unless he is selling club soon which I don't think he can due to price/ worth of club) then with our brand (which is still strong and a strong pull for people) a experienced good manager will still take the risk.

Offer people good money and incentives then people who fully understand football will more often than not take a risk, sure some won't but more will. I think with the lower league people we have approached, one been MK 6 years so u can understand him no moving and guess the BR guy didn't fancy it.

Someone like Pearson would have been great, if I was MC I would pay as much as I can with a massive promotion incentive for the manger then see who is available to us, or just give it to big Steve E ha.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 May 2016 09:46:57
TBH DG, I think the ST refund thing is just a gimmick. He's probably got the money already put aside to pay for it. (Maybe from the shirt sponsorship cash) .
Re getting a new coach. If he has interviewed Robinson and Clarke it means they were interested before they met him and whatever he offered them (vision, money, terms) they then quickly realised they were better off staying where they are!
