Really need to be firing on all Cylinders on Friday, it’s tighter than a ducks back pipe in the league. 7,8,9 all on 29 points and a pack chasing still think there is room for manoeuvre from 2nd to 6th. Come on boys let’s bag 3 and keep us up there. At least it’s interesting and keeps us on our toes. No room for error. MOT. Positivity is supreme 😜

Im not really expecing cardiff, sheff utd or bristol to stay the course so i reckon 3 spots up for grabs with about 6 teams capable of filling them. Its tough indeed. Unless u r wolves and spent lots of money on the right players. Then its a walk in the park!

Aussie, I thought that 'Udders wouldn't stay the course last. Where are they now? Agree PP, I can see it being squeaky bum time on Friday, defo tight up there!

Villa and Boro have done the same as wolves and are on a par with us. With more finances in January, Orta could be doing some real damage. I think he already knows how much he has to work with and by now should be scouting out early transfers like we did in the summer. Definitely 5 places up for grabs out of that top 6 and i'd say 7/8 teams in the mix. Us, Derby, Villa, Boro, Sheff UTD, Cardiff, wendies, possibly bristol, still think they'll fade though. MOT

I haven't seen a decent team this year lucas. Fulham and hudds were good last year out of playoff teams. We haven't played a team as good as either of them were last year.

Didnt see the game lucas. But from following the text we were coming back into it before sending off. So although they maybe good and running away with league still wernt killing us as often as i saw last year.

Wolves were marginally better than us. The key thing, and this is massive, is that they have been consistent, and we haven't. Consistency is the vital thing that TC needs to address, then we will be right up there.

I agree should play ahead of Pennington not because I think he's great but Pennington hasn't shown anything better. I think Shaunessy should play in front of back four against the so-called better teams. So:- Weidwald; Ayling, Jannson, Cooper, Berardi; Shaunessy; O'Kane (not at his best of late but has the experience) Alioski, Vierra, Saiz, Ecuban Subs: Lonargon, Pennington, Roofe, Klitch (needs more game time -he should be a decent player at this level) , Phillips, Dallas, Grot ( He might be better playing wide - he's certainly not a lone striker type)

No hernandez or lassoga then?

Lasogga is injured I think. I should have had Hernandez on the bench. An over sight. Playing Saiz and Hernandez together from the start. against better class opposition is too much of a risk.

Id go Wield. Unfortunately! Ayling. Def more aggressive now
Cooper. Does his best and works hard
Janson. Slowly improving again
Berahdi. Not at his best at the moment but 100% player Shaun. Should make this position his own. Kane. Weak link at the moment but maybe anita Viera. Playing well
Alioski. Improving and working hard Saiz. Best player we have
Ekuban. He needs to start scoring or replace with roofe.

Seems at the minute that were playing a former player most weeks in the championship, which is ironic because all of these players left for 'bigger and better things'. Howson last week, Mowatts parent club at the weekend, snodgrass this week. Be interesting to see Snoddys reception at ER after he's been at hull and norwich which were quite hostile games. I like th elad and think he's a good player, but IMO we have better than that now and i'm glad we didn't spend a fortune to sign him. No real selection headaches for me this week. Pablo has had a week off and another game where he did a good job for 90 so should start ahead of a not quite fully fit dallas. Same back 4, and probably Vieira to come in to the 11, if not definitely the 18. don't think youll see Pennington as i think TC prefers shaun. Hopeful of seeing the following for the weekend: Wiedewald, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper (IMO a good game on saturday) , Berardi, Vieira, Phillips, Alioski, Saiz, Hernandez, Ekuban. Bench - Lonergan, Shaun, Anita, Roofe, O'kane, Dallas, Lasogga.

Up to christmas, I don't see why QPR, Hull, Burton, Birmingham, and forest aren't winnable games. Norwich and Villa will both be tough games but I think its achievable to get at least another 13-15 points before christmas. This should keep us there or there abouts within the play offs. There are a lot of good teams who have to play eachother so points rae ound to be dropped somewhere along the way. The festive period might jsut be kind to us again this year like it was last. MOT

I thought that. Most of our games on TV, then the biggy isn't. Very odd indeed.
