If Take That were playing in Portsmouth
Warnock would sign Jason Orange

There have been a few vague references to signing Lewis McGugan from Florist, but nothing concrete. He had a quiet last season but we've all seen what he can do in previous seasons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHwRlcA7cD0). I have a feeling that he should be the man to replace Snodgrass (because Varney isn't good enough and if we were to get Templeton he plays out wide, and Warnock was intending to play Snod centrally). I've got my fingers crossed for this one!

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Give Varney a chance ffs before you proclaim he isn't good enough. Warnock wanted him so he clearly is.

Agree6 Disagree2

Varney is not a "make the difference" sort of player like snodgrass was. Not they right player to fill his boots

Agree1 Disagree1

Varney's already played in the Premiership and did well with Blackpool. Not AT ALL convinced about Snodgrass's prospects in the top division. He hasn't either enough pace or consistency.

Ian Black has signed a 3 year contract with Rangers. shame, he'd have fit right in to our colour coded midfield!

Question:- Where is the flare, creativity and craft coming from this season ? NW has signed plenty of grafters and workhorses but no pace, vision, technical ability or vision.

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Warnock has said he has got the numbers in now and he is working on getting 3-4 'exciting players' in now, just who they are we don't know

Agree4 Disagree1

Playing the exciting football in this division isnt always whats most important, he likes his workhorses

Agree4 Disagree2

Dont concede you dont lose i would sooner nick 1 nils eleven home defiets last season not good enough

Agree5 Disagree0

Warnock likes plenty of variety and we have that now. He also said he will bring in 2-3 impact players that change the games. Need to have some faith lad. The mans doin wonders with his hands tied. He's a manager, not a magician.

Agree2 Disagree4

I kind of agree we do need those sort of players hope nw sticks to what he said, don't want to play boaring football like west ham, even if it did get them up, let's do it with some flare

"I kind of agree we do need those sort of players hope nw sticks to what he said, don't want to play boaring football like west ham, even if it did get them up, let's do it with some flare"

I don't care how we play, who we play, or where we play, as long as we go up.....

not a Rumor just infor for every fans.

mean reason for Robert snodgrass leaving was the players knew neil warnock was about to leave leeds back end of june.

Snodgrass though the same thing was going to happen like last year.( being promised one thing and it not happening)

If he has signed the new contract with neil gone would the new manger had let him go at the end of 2012-2013 season, like neil said he would have, had leeds not gone up?

It is wrong for warnock to say he had his head turned. Fact is Warnock was going to walk out first before any player...

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Stop the bull***t conspiracies, snoddy left because he had an opportunity to play premiership and paid premiership wages, something we can not offer him, end of, it's gutting be all we can do is hope with cross roads with norwich end of next season so the banter can go their way and their players come our way, revenge would be sweet

Agree6 Disagree2

He went for one thing and one thing only, money. As we all know, money talks and bulls==t walks. Lets be honest lads, he could of no doubt put in the extra years contract, that if leeds were not in the prem, this time next year. He would be sold or it would be breach of contract and could walk for nothing. So it all comes down to greed.
mot4life

Agree4 Disagree2

Total bs, he had his head turned by more cash, nothing to do with what warnock said about walking out

Agree4 Disagree1

The guy had the promise of premiership football and premiership wages and for someone who is at best a decent championship player then you can't blame him for going whilst he had the chance. It's players like McCormack even considering joining another championship side that I can't understand.

Agree3 Disagree0

You're an person mate. Look on OS Snodgrass said himself it was just too good a opportunity to turn down playing in the premier league. So why would he lie about it? also leaving at the end of 2012-2013 if we didnt get promoted was written in the contract so regardless of the manager a contract is binding to its clauses. And it was clear when Snoddy entered talks that Warnock was now going to stay.

Agree1 Disagree0

Total BS Snodgrass was NEVER going to sign a new deal, he made that very obvious at end of season do, end of third time i have posted this first was day after said do

Hey guys I was just wondering how do you get to the ground by bus on a match day? and how much it costs? any help appreciated

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Buses from Sovereign Street continuously, go down from station through dark arches, follow crowds {Ed020's Note - its about £4 if i remember correctly...}

Agree1 Disagree0

51,52,54 and number 74/75 bus to Beeston ''evangelical church'' or the number 1 which run up Beeston Hill to ''White Heart Pub'' then follow the crowd down Wesley Street

Woody LUFC

Agree2 Disagree0

Just buy a dayrider for £2.80p and from outside the market, catch the 51 bus that goes straight through to elland road.
mot4life

Agree2 Disagree0

Taxi from train station
allways someone willing to share cost

Agree0 Disagree0

It all depends where you are leaving from mate - give us a clue?

Agree0 Disagree0

What time do the buses run from sovereign street? {Ed020's Note - from about half12 onwards, i grab it after work and my office is just around the corner from there, and thats at 1.}

Where's this Stephen Quinn rumour come from? And what's everyones view on him?
LouisLeeds

Believable1 Unbelievable2

It was is the Daily Fail yesterday, bit light weight for my liking, M.O.T

Agree0 Disagree0

If this rumour is true and Quinn signs. This probably means that NW fancies Rudy Austin as a centre half rather than in midfield.
To be honest, Pearce and Austin in the centre of defence sounds pretty strong.
Green, Brown, Norris and Quinn to battle it out for the CM spots?
Possible?
Don t see us linked with many other centre halves accept Cranie?
Lees is good, and has potential, but needs a bit more experience and consistency..
JonnyH

Agree2 Disagree0

Maybe Warnock thinks one of the reserves mayne used for ch such as Gimple or Killock you do have to blood them sometime or other.Or maybe he has someone lined up not yet linked as nobody saw Austin as a potential transfer at the beginning of the transfer window.Sharky lufc

Agree0 Disagree0

No way should Austin play in defence he should sit in front of the back 4 and Cranie should be in defence
