George figured out what 18:15 referred to, see below . Well done George you are right, I thought Mad Mick had it, he was very very close and gave you a good pointer to getting it right . Think the prize is something we would all like to win . Well done again MOT 29 Jul 2017 18:32:43 I have the correct answer. MM certainly helped. It's the precise amount of time which passed when Jermaine Beckford's goal against Manchester United in the FA Cup in 2010 was scored. The ball rolled over the white line after exactly 18 minutes 15 seconds. For my prize? Promotion for Leeds United this season shall do nicely. GeorgeIntegrityWhitebread

Wexy, had 40 English pounds on an away victory at 14s. It was a fabulous feeling then I had 50 English pounds on a 2-2 draw at WHL for the next round. Truth.

Still in Yorkshire so I went to the game yesterday. I was encouraged, players look fit, still need to integrate the new comers fully but some good signs. The defence looked pretty good and Cooper looked better and was clearly marshalling the four. Pennington, a bit tentative at times but looks the part and fitted in well. Midfield, I liked the look of Alioski, always making himself available, keen to get on the ball but as we were playing through Roofe a lot, he often didn't get picked out. I think he needs to be given time to gel with the team. Phillips and Okane worked well together. Roofe had a very influential game. I would probably go with the starting lineup from yesterday with Saiz coming on later after Hernadez has had a chance. Final point is that the bench is strong, to be able to bring . Saiz, Sacko and the new striker, whose name escapes me, on to influence the game is very encouraging. More defensive cover and a few games to get used to playing together and i think we will be in good shape. Great to be back at elland road and pleased to be able to go to the next 3 home games.

Will put answer to quiz question below up tomorrow morning (Sunday) . With no correct answer so far a little clue in that it relates to one of our finest moments in recent history. Heres a question for all the peeps who come on here regular . Hope its not too cryptic . What is the significance to a Leeds supporter of 18:15 ? A slight hint is that it will be something you all should know and enjoyed greatly

Was it when the final whistle blew (after five minutes of Fergie time) when we knocked that team that play in red out of the FA Cup on January 3rd 2010? MM

The streaker at our pre season game against Everton. Definitely one of our finest moments. If you like that kind of thing.

Or is it the time of the final whistle in 1992 between Liverpool and that other team when we became champions of England?

My heart tells me that this is finally our year but my head has some reservations. On one hand we have some very capable and impressive signings (great on YouTube) but will that translate into solid performances in the our league fast and competitive, should we have paid more and gone, dare I say it the Boro route and pay more for proven quality. It's going to be a very exciting year I hope it ends in promotion? TC does speak several languages and past players all like and respect him so if he can gel the team quickly and at the same time get to grips with the league should be flying! I'm I worrying about nothing?

The truth is we have a lot of unknowns from the boss to the new signings - some will be great, others will probably flop but we have a decent starting point with the lads who proved they were good enuf last year so hopefully we will be ok.

The Boro route is not without risk. Braithwate is untried in England, Assombalonga has struggled with injury lately, Fletcher is unproven and Howson is hardly a world beater and that's over £40m spent. Money does not guarantee success, we will see what happens but i am happy with the position we are in with hopefully a couple of defenders to come.

Come on leeds, 9 days until Bolton and still no CB. It seems we are looking at loads of defenders. but according to the club were not interested in any of them. so come on leeds who are we trying to sign.
