Thoughts so far ok we have improved the squad and the manager but we have shown very little in the line of ambition considering talk of a 20 million kitty. When you consider Ronny cash we have invested around 5/ 6 million. Which considering the TV income and and other incomes into the club. It strikes me that Radz has no intention of really pushing for promotion.

There's still time Wexy. As long as I don't see Penny in a Leeds shirt again. Maddison and Ryan Woods permanently and maybe a Foyth on loan and we are top 6 material. It's been a very precise and sensible transfer window so far for us in terms of ambition. Nothing foolish or reckless. I'm sure deadline day will see us make a couple of shrewd additions.

We do appear to be balancing the books, which is a shame if true. Ryan Woods seems to be available as does Maddison. We know Cooper can pass the ball but he simply isn't good enough as a centre back in my view. Another centre back and those two would see us right. The maths indicates we have about Ā£16m left?

Weād, donāt know if what you are saying is true or not, but I donāt agree with it. If think we have been trying to do some good deals in line with the coaches view of the squad, some have come off and some havenāt and perhaps a few still to work there way through. Donāt think itās true to say we havenāt shown any ambition, Bamford most expensive player since Robbie fowler, Douglas reckoned to be one of the best in the championship.
Three loanees but all three coming with good plaudits. Remember in Ayling, Roberts and Forshaw, we effectively have three new players in terms of the second half of the season and you can throw Klich into that as well. Bielsa made it clear he was looking for 4/ 5 quality players and we have 4 coming from premiership clubs and one, our record transfer for years and perhaps still more to come.
It might be that Bielsa knows of a few high quality loans we might get if the premiership cards fall a certain way. On top of that you have many players cleared out or moved away. Letās give him and the players a chance. I wouldnāt have bought Hernandez or the Derby guy at their prices / salary. David Prutton reckons 3/ 2 to us against Stoke, Iām sure all of us would settle for that as a season starter.

I donāt think thereās enough goals in the team at the moment to be too 6 George, and at the end of last season someone had said Beradi and Cooper would be in our opening games defence I think if we are honest none of us would have been happy.
I agree with Wex, with money brought in from viera and season tiks have we really spent anything? . we are at least 3 good signings from a top 6 team, kid from city is a gamble, which leaves us with Aliiski and Dallas as natural wingers.
Roberts has never scored at this level, letās hooe he does, Bamford got less than 15 last season. we still need a proven goal scorer and pace out wide, not to mention defensive cover (centre back)

Alaw At the moment we're certainly not top 6 but Maddison and Woods join we'll be there. Not enough goals yet but I'm hopeful Bamford in this team will get us 20. I'm expecting another 50 from Saiz Pablo Edmondson Roberts and Roofe combined. For right now, I see a 9th finish.

Bielsa is a big gamble, who really knows how he will be able to manage in the Championship. Iāve said a number of times, patience is going to be needed if we really want to give him a chance. We made some shrewd acquisitions, presumably in line with what the coach has said about 4/ 5 players and we have cleared lots away. Would it really be sensible to spend loads more money now on silly prices and contracts that would cause problems with the current squad. For me it is an ambitious plan. I really donāt know how we will do against Stoke, we could take a beating we could run away with it, but letās see how the players do in their first competitive outing under him. let's see if there is a change of style, that the players are up for it and that any new players make a difference. You never know, the plan is mad enough, the coach madder, it might just work!

My first reaction to Pennington coming back was probably like everyone else, but. After some thought, perhaps he deserves another chance with the new coach and system like everyone else. Everton obviously saw enough to give him a free year contract, Bielsa will know enough about him to have formed a view, he is young enough to learn and develop. With the new system, he will probably get more opportunities this year. Just saying, if he comes back, let's give him a chance before writing him off!

I wouldnāt be surprised if we buy one more and then get 2 more loans. Possibly one reason why Bielsa is not panicking about CB, knows he could loan one if needed. Could also depend on whether anyone else is sold. Rumours around Dallas today and even though it seems Saiz wants to stay, wouldnāt shock me if he goes too, not sure the Bielsa style works for him!

As the player has not put in a transfer request, the club would still be liable to compensate the player the value of the contract. It is unlikely that we would have got much for Murphy as there was no demand to pay a fee for his services therefore paying off his contract probably removes the requirement to deal with agents to get him transferred.

Disagree about Murphy being a solid Championship player. Admittedly he has played Championship football for the past three seasons but he was a bit part player for us in 2016 season and has played two seasons at Burton. Murphy is a good league 1/ bottom third of Championship player.

Guess we have to give MB a chance re CB, think we all feel that we need at least one CB but appears he doesn't. He states he watched all last seasons games, so would have thought that was a priority. Maybe he can turn cooper into a decent player and we would all hold our hands up and say wow!
We shall know very fast as we have a hard 4-6 games to start, if we get spanked by stoke, maybe a quick loan scramble.
I wasn't convinced when Bamford was spoken of, but happy to be proven wrong and hope he can get the 20+ goals, also feel Roberts looks decent and be like a new signing. Very happy with Harrison loan and think he may prove to be a gem. Would love a final push for Maddison, think those two on wings would be amazing and create goals. Hoping saiz can bring his early season form, he was fantastic at first but needs to release alittle earlier. Last season we were 1st after 8 matches and this squad improved, but also feel some other top sides, bring on Sunday.

Iām not knocking Bielsa but Iām not 100% he knows how tough this league is. Itās long and hard ( calm down Lucas ) .
Iām hoping his system works but he will need a plan b and the players to play plan b. I donāt think we got enough strength in depth yet.

Hey Ausman, I live in Melbourne and subscribe to Bein sports and it is on Monday at 1.30am live. Bein show all sky games so can watch them. Then I also have Lufc tv for 99p per week and they screen all of the games except the ones on sky. Have to pay 5 quid to screen games but can pretty much watch every leeds match.
