Very please with the performance today, some people on here seem to be blaming GFH for us not winning, we couldn't score simple as that we tried but couldn't so isn't their fault! I thought Peltier was fantastic today he dominated there strike force, they got very lucky with the goal and they really didn't deserve it. Was sat behind the dugouts today and Malkay Mackay sure is a winney little b*tch! Moaning all the time, needs to shut his mouth and realise his team aren't as good as he thinks they are, they were nothing today just parked the bus and tried to counter attack, that's shocking for a team who's top sweating it out for a win like that, we deserves at least a point and that would have been harsh on us! Very proud to be Leeds beat wolves and Boro and were in the play offs come on Leeds stay strong and right on!

We never beat Cardiff! Yet another "bogey" team. Good though to come on and not be reading "Warnock out". I know what's happening isn't pretty but its reminiscent of when George Graham was here, steady the ship and clear the dead wood. It was a massive job to take on but lookin at it we've got the foundation of a decent squad now whether Warnock stays beyond the summer or not

Agree10 Disagree5

I agree, Better performance. Campbell was good when he came on, but Morison and Habib will be better IMO. We could have won that game. Only wish Varney would stop trying to get fouls. a lot of times if he would play on instead of going to the ground we would be in a better position. plus the refs get what he is doing and the don't give the genuine ones. Diouf was great again. I am happy with where we are. we will only improve on this.

Come on Leeds

Classic example on why we should have spent a stupid £650k on Frazier Campbell. He's going to be a good player in the championship

Believable7 Unbelievable15

02 Feb 2013 21:05:19
Even my nan could of scored that.

Agree7 Disagree3

Cardiff are apparently £83mill in debt. Campbell scored a tap in, his value or quality were not the issue. Cardiff have literally banked on promotion. If we can add two wingers, and a creative midfield player we would be a serious threat in this tin pot league. Cardiff were allegedly the best team in the league and they were appallingly bad, if it wasn't for one individual error by Byram we would have had a minimum of a draw. If Morison was fit we would have won in my opinion.

Agree8 Disagree5

He scored a tap in from a bad mistake FFS, don't make him a Messi does it, watch Morison go when he's up and running, we have the makings of a very good squad, give em time.

Agree11 Disagree5

Yep exactly right mate

Agree9 Disagree2

He scored a tap in doesn't make him the Messi of the Championship!

Agree10 Disagree2

No it doesn't make him amazing or Messi, when did I say that? but pretty sure anyone would take Frazier Campbell for £650k surely?

Agree1 Disagree7

Tap in or no tap in, he was still in the right place right time to separate the 2 sides today. If one of our strikers scores a tap in, I bet your not so fast to slag him off huh? Bottom line is, Frazier Campbell is a good player. . The league leaders (who are almost certain to go up this year) bought him, so he can't be that bad

Agree2 Disagree3

Yeah but there still going to be in the premiership next year, we're will we still be in the next 5 years oh yeah we're we are now if we're lucky, carny believe we're owned by a skint investment bank!

Agree5 Disagree2

I thinkit shows what you can get if you spend a little bit of money. 650,000 and he scores coming off the bench. I agree with one above poster, he had to be in the right place to put that in, its a poachers instinct. who did we look to off the bench? habibou and the poor lad looked lost. spend a small bit of cash and get a proven goalscorer who'll nip in and get the tap ins or get a loanee who tries but was like a headless chicken. I know what I expect and I know what leeds fans deserve, investment from the club in players

Agree4 Disagree3

Like everyone has clearly stated it was the easiest goal from the worst mistake ever!

HI all, been off the site for a few week!

Could you possibly explain the whole. Duck - Habibou please?!

Thanks

LUFCLUKE

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Type habibou duck in you tube
Basically he throws a duck off the pitch
The duck would of played better than him today let's hope he vastly improves

Agree2 Disagree3

Go on YouTube and type in habib habibou duck. You'll soon see

Agree1 Disagree3

He threw a duck off the pitch once

Agree2 Disagree3

4 years ago whilst playing in belgium a duck wandered on the pitch. habibou picked up said duck and flung it rather aggressively off it that is all. It wasn't injured or anything it just looked quite bad

Agree1 Disagree2

Yes mate just google his name with the word duck on the end and you will see! Mot.

Agree0 Disagree1

Search habibou vs duck into YouTube. that's the best way to explain it

Agree0 Disagree1

F00king brilliant!

I'd like to add "no ducks were harmed in the making of this film" at the end of the videos

Thanks again

Well all I have to say is I hope morison hits the ground running because I can't see a goal in anyone apart from mc cormack and the only creative player we have in reality in midfield is barkley who has impressed me, peltier looks far better in central defence too but byram is nieve and needs to learn his trade for me and I would also like to see varney, diouf, brown and austen replaced as I feel they are too slow and create nothing going forward!

Believable17 Unbelievable8

02 Feb 2013 19:00:35
Barkley couldn't have impressed you today he was shocking!

Agree7 Disagree6

No class-no quality-no threat. Anyone realised we invested to such an extent in transfer window we actually made a profit for our "new" owners. Bring back memories?

Agree9 Disagree7

02 Feb 2013 20:01:17
We played well today at least deserved a point. byram miss timed 1 kick and it went terribly wrong other than that we controlled large parts of the game.
Brown was good once again today. Barkley showed some prem class. diouf is our most creative player and as been most of the season. Austin was the worst midfield player but he has played a lot of games this season.
It was unlucky that the ball fell to bellemy and his shot fell to Campbell 2 prem class players.
If we play like that for rest of season we should get plenty of points and finish in top 6

Agree5 Disagree4

Sorry have to disagree
saw plenty of class and good determination
good football
austen was a bit of a let down
thought brown had a great game
we were unlucky. very
dont know how you can be heavily critical
TS

Agree4 Disagree4

Was you at the game today?, don't think so, we were the better and deserved more from the game, FFS give em a chance plenty of games left to push up the table, Morison could be the one that makes the difference, plus whatever loanees we get, you moaners are the pits.

Agree6 Disagree5

Though I agree barkley was excellent
TS

Agree5 Disagree3

Barkley & peltier for me guys outstanding

02 Feb 2013 17:54:03
At the game today, not a warnock fan, but if we can play like that consistently we have a chance, more hopeful from that performance than the last two home games I've been too and we've won. Very encouraging today, no more goofball warnock! Mot

Believable17 Unbelievable6

Better but still not good enough. No creativity at all and only two shots on target that I can remember. Should be more than that in any home game, even against top league opposition.

Agree11 Disagree0

02 Feb 2013 17:10:44
Good performance, unlucky but doesn't take away the fact that 6 points behind boro but 10 plus on others.
Why oh why didn't we pay that extra little bit for Burke. he was brilliant apparently today. silly gfh. shrew leeds

Believable15 Unbelievable1

Cos GFH are skint thast why we didn't get Burke. This club is going nowhere without proper backing adn after this transfer window its not going to come from GFH. We could have Boyd and Burke for £1. 25m and those two would make a difference but they simply don't have the funds.

Agree11 Disagree3

If GFH had invested in the club they would get their money back as the likes of Burke and Boyd would attract 23,000 24,000. Very short sighted GFH.

Agree10 Disagree1

02 Feb 2013 20:02:54
We will gain them points on them I think.

Agree1 Disagree5

Papa is still in charge. GFH are a smokescreen

Agree8 Disagree2

If we signed burke and boyd we would have had the same amount of fans regardless. Stop blaming everyone except yourself for not going to elland road. Support through thick and thin

Agree0 Disagree10

02 Feb 2013 17:10:04
See chris burke scored twice today. Could of been the player to make a difference? Just goes to show how average this league is when cardiff (who basically did nothing) are 10pts clear at the top. Roll on next season i'm afraid. Mrc1919.

Cardiff are top because bellamy scores and their rear guard are dirty

Why didn't Warnock (manager) change the midfield? Gj

Believable21 Unbelievable4

02 Feb 2013 16:54:41
Less than 20k there today, gfh only yourself to blame, if you had spent maybe 5m on exciting players you would prob have guaranteed 23 24k every week instead you have got yourself a mid table team on your hands nothing to play for, now your guaranteed one thing gates are going to get lower, prob ending up around the 16k mark.

Believable15 Unbelievable6

They aren't to blame, you are. Your the only person stoppin yourself from going. Man up and admit it, stop blaming "lack of investment" "bates still there" because i'm pretty sure every1 was at chelsea and spurs, with bates there and no investment

Can't believe top of table team can only muster 446 away fans. pathetic. also 19k not great. shrew leeds

Believable12 Unbelievable1

Cardiff support is crap always has been, and always will be.

Agree5 Disagree0

Leeds can only muster 19000 for hoem game against top of the league team that is pathetic. 500 mile trip cost loads of money and why go to see an avarage team from yorkshire when you can see six nations rugby

Agree5 Disagree2

I would feel ashamed to be a cardiff fan top of the league and not once have you sold your stadium out just shows how poor your fan base really is. {Ed013's Note - They won't be bothered, they got 3 pts and are 10 pts clear}

Agree2 Disagree0

Poor support by both teams

Agree1 Disagree0

Well said ED league positions determin your attendance always have and always will, man united have a massive following but would not if they were play second division football. Leeds need to be in the prem to get the fan base back.

Agree1 Disagree0

The tickets for away fans are stupid loads of people I talked to said they would not go as leeds were quoting £40 quid for a ticket. Think you will find cardiff sold out 6 time this season and we have crowds of 24000 a week. Leeds have the poor support not us

All I care about is; can he see between the posts and under the crossbar?

Can't believe some people saying we ain't spent any money w Morrison cost us 2.3 million, As we could have taken 2.5 million cash for Becchio. Do you think Bates would have done the same deal paying 16 grand a week and all the money from the sale off Becchio errr No, I wonder watt Warnocks basic wage is not peanuts i'd guess. We are also paying nearly all off Barkleys wage, must be around 10k a week, or would you rather have a few loans and a load off pi$ take excuses

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Just get over this Bares thing. He never interfered with the playing squad. Who came and went and how much for was down to the manager. All Bates did was give them a budget, what they did with that was down to them.

Believable15 Unbelievable14

Ducks are evil I tells ya. . evil!

Agree10 Disagree3

He scored on average this season 1 goal in 2 games for the best team in Belgium, playing as a left winger, qpr had him as their reserve signing if they did not get that remy guy. Stop complaining just because we didn't break the bank on him. All three of the players we brought on deadline day are premier league standard. Morison scored 10 prem league goals last season and so did van Persie the season before last so he must be good. Warnock was wanted by west ham for the rest of the season so that is a great signing for us and neil has stated he will be getting a winger in on loan as chris Burke was too expensive for us and moneybags forest

With the numerous comments made in this transfer window by the likes of Bruce, Redknapp and others about the scandalous behaviour of players and agents in the transfer window do we think the tide is turning or is it just 'this weeks news' like at the start of the season when suddenly everyone was racist but now it's all forgotten?!

It actually makes me feel a bit better to be a leeds fan with a club who refuse to have a gun put to our heads by players like becchio and snodgrass who were nobody before we took a chance on them. I get that it's a short career and they like us all are ultimately self interested but, if we don't take a stance where does it end?
