well my wife officially hates me. She decided that my near four hour round trip to watch us get beat at Brighton on my jacks was not enough. She decided that for my birthday the whole family need to be depressed so we are going to see the home game against hudderfield. Never sat in the family stand before what is it like as my little girl is two and a half. I like to check as I know ER is rocking at the moment and don't want her getting hurt in the choas as our fans get too excited in our goal rush. Any advice or best place to get tickets please let me know. Also where do people go fro drink before and after as I have a feeling I might be needing a drink on the 19th. MOT.

Don't go on the back row there's less leg room but halfway up or three quarters way back should be fine for all good view and sheltered from weather.

I usually sit in East Stand lower BW with my daughter who nearly eats her own body weight in hot dogs, so it can be quite expensive! Your daughter will get a decent view here and Lucas the Kop Cat usually mills around here, so she could get a pic with him, or try and pull his tail off!
Decent atmosphere this end of the ground as your next to the South Stand and opposite away fans although it's not like the good old days when the same section formed part of the Lowfields terracing.
I've been promised free tickets for this fixture so won't be in East Stand for this game but if you wear fancy dress so I can recognise you that would be good. Nothing too silly, maybe a pantomime horse or chicken suit?

{Ed001's Note - do you and your daughter wear matching shellsuits?}

{Ed001's Note - I was going to type that myself! You should think yourself lucky you haven't been reported to social services over torturing a minor!}

cheers MM sounds good and would love to get my little girls picture with Lucas or maybe a wooden horse if wooten is playing. I tried to get my step dad reports to child services for making me a leeds fan but they weren't too sad when I was younger and aprrently you can't make a claim to child servecies when you are 32. bit worried though as after the game my daughter might have a very solid case against me. to stand out I will wear a gold all in one cat suit and flat cap. or you might notice me as the loud bloke with thick cockney accent who is bit more enthusatic to start with as I have not been forced to watch this all season so it is more a one off punishment.

Nice one BW and by the sounds of it, a bit of a fashionista (like myself) too. Enjoy your day.

So yet another season passes and the fans have been let down again by the "club" in whatever format you view the club. Personally the buck stops with MC who by his appointments and dealings or (lack of) in the transfer market have at best will see us in the bottom half come the end of the season and at worst see us be relegated.
MC has in my opinion no idea how to run an English Football Club and his appointments of Managers shows this conclusively.
There will be no future for the club under MC, just empty promises that excite fans for a few weeks but are never delivered.
There must be an individual/ organisation that can see the potential of our club and what could be achieved with decent management both on and off the pitch.
It shouldn't be impossible to recruit a businessman who can do this and someone who has some idea of who to appoint who can look at the footballing side of things and set up a medium term recruitment plan for established players who are capable of getting us back to the Premiership. let's face it our Academy must be better than the bottom half of the Premiership and all of the Championship given our record of producing players over the last few seasons.
So whoever you are please step forward and help us. You have fantastic supporters to go on this journey with you who will back you by following the team.
Let's stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get this club going again.

I disagree. So our last lot of owners/ Chairmen did a better job than he has? I don't think so. I believe the players are not playing to their potential, no heart. That has to come down to the man management of the players. There was a honeymoon period for a couple of months but that has finished. Our team on paper looks as good as most teams in this league. We have players in the squad that should at least be given a Guernsey in the first team. Yes he is not ideal, but he has saved the club, like it or not, and yes I would love to see Qatar airlines step in to buy us but MC is what we have and at the minute he is at the Helm of Leeds United.

Well our season is over again allready and we have to keep our fingers crossed we don't get sucked into a relegation fight, so same as last year. Need major changes at club to go forward. Cellino is not going to leave so I am hoping something is sorted for Parkin to get on board in summer, from what I have heaard that's a possibility. Gfh have no incentive to leave to leave till we get in premiership unless someone offers silly money for their shares and Cellino will be likely to invest more if he hass a like minded shareholder, Parkin.
We need to establish a proper scouting system to uncover the gems from lower leagues. We are waiting until other clubs unearth them then putting silly bids in for them, we need to be in front of other clubs.
Evans will be here to end of season by the looks of things. Hopefully then a manager will be appointed who can do the job. Think it has to be one with a proven track record with a decent contract and the remit to do what he needs to get us challenging.
Need complete overhaul of squad. Give cook taylor coyle phillips threee year deals because they will be part of us going forward. Offload Wootton, Sylvestri, Bamba, Berlusci, Murphy, sloth, Erwin, Dallas, Walters, Mcdaid, Douks, and Mowatt if we can get a decent price for him. that's a full team that have not really been performing. I include sloth because he is wasting his time here and could be a good player elsewhere and Dallas although he gives 100% is not really a threat to defences.
Bring in a goalie, two CBs left back, which would give us the option to play taylor on wing, one recognised left winger with pace, attacking midfielder and two new strikers who actually score goals. that's eight in doable.
To do this would need at least 15 mill investment and for Cellino to relax his pay structure a little. We are financially sound by all accounts so he needs to bring players in who will entice the fans back and increase revenues. Think next season will be make or break time for a lot of us so really hope serious effort is put in by averyone from Cellino staff and fans. Hopefully next season we can be al marching on together without all the acrimony and mud slinging.

Good post mate
Can I say that although he wasn't on the pitch long I am dumbfounded re Erwin. He can't tackle. Pass. Hold the ball up. It was the worst 15 min I have ever seen by a footballer ever. Worst than Bamba.

mc says evans talks to much so does he let's look. i'm the best thing to happen to leeds . answer are you . woods fitter than ever we will see different player . erwin said not fit enough . botaka not good enough wont play again . i got 3players in i keeped leeds up . wow evans you must be working wonders . other games all you say is we should of won how many times have you said that . i'm getting us a stiker still waiting . you say sloth be playing well in u21 never even makes bench and phillips he's not on bench now . bamba he's off to newcastle one minute then in france family . give him a new contract he's got worse . wotton so slow hence grabbing at player in area . you talk the talk but you can't walk the walk . it's all about you and how good you think you are . you done well not to be sack one win in eleven . others gone by now . i think it's because we had a cup run . that our league reults wasnt noticed . but it's been bad ok lots of draws but a few more bad results and we could be in dog fight to stat up . a little while ago looking at top 10 or higher . so in a nutshell we are in same place as when you came here . so you should be gone end of season . and yes put one of the kids up front after all can't do any worse as strikers don't score in fact don't even hit goal wide or over .

Yeah, but MC doesn't appear on every other post on the Leeds rumours Now site, unlike Evans? MC has been sorting out the club finances, let's hope it means we get a few solid players during the summer, with or without Evans?

The dearth of passion on Monday was distressing. All season we have lacked a prolific goalscorer. Mayhap Mr Evans should promote one of the chaps from the academy? Although we went down in 1982 I remember young Aidan Butterworth coming in to replace Derek Parlane and ending up with a respectable tally of nine goals.

Northants, good post. I remember Aiden Butterworth well from my younger days. He was exciting to watch and hungry for goals - just what we need right now.

Aidan Butterworth, there's a blast from the past. I remember watching Leeds at Craven Cottage when I was about 10 and he was the best player on the pitch by a mile. Then he goes and jacks it all in to go the university as far as I can remember.
Wouldnt be too upset if some of our squad did the same as young Aidan!

Fans already calling for Paul Hart to step into Evans job. Redfearn did the same. Would you give up a 'relatively' secure job to take on the Head coach at Leeds. No one with any idea of having any sort of secure future. Hart would be stupid to accept it if offered. Then again Cellino would probably sack him if he did refuse. Who would work or play for Leeds unless you were desperate? No one. Whatever Cellino's motives are he is toxic at the moment in spite of what he has done to steady the financial ship.
