Adam smith is not on his way to Leeds corluka on his way to Germany that's why spurs have recalled smith .I was told today, That bates wants 3 players off the wage bill before he will sanction any more players coming in .I know for a fact my source knows players who play in championship ,He Also said that snoddy as said he would like to talk if any prem teams come in for him ,But he said no way would he go down the transfer request route ,1 down in howson hope 2 more dead wood out not our better players .By the way my source is not a Leeds fan

Believable1 Unbelievable8

Nonsense.

Agree7 Disagree0

Wach graysons pre Birmingham interview I think you will find it's about right,He says we need to get players off the wage bill, which will make it easier for me to bring players in .wach it

Agree3 Disagree3

Humble pie for lunch anyone...??

SMITH is IN, OFFICIAL!!

Agree2 Disagree0

Told him he was talking nonsense!

Agree1 Disagree0

I posted yesterday that we needed players off the wage bill to bring any in.And one person said I was talking bull ,One in one out,No more players in cos we couldn't get any one off the wage bill , in a bit nonsense!

well this transfer window just about sums up leeds season this year...disappointing not to mention countless lies and broken promises. where are these 2 or 3 exciting signings supposed to be finalised today? this seems to be happening much too often and i doubt i'm the only one who feels like grayson cant be trusted as well as the fat colonel {Ed013's Note - If after 11 PM tomorrow things are the same then fair point, until then keep some faith}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

You are spot on with what you say,Grayson would be best advised to keep his mouth shut in future if nothing has happened by 11pm tomorrow, saying you want 2 or 3 and delivering none with more excuses would be inexcusable!

Agree4 Disagree0

Well the first one is in, check the OS mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds have signed marc wilson on loan, should also sign either st ledger or jason pearce. And then either keith andrews or wellens. Should also put a bid in for joel ward or maybe clingan or chambers or mcgugan from forest, these players might like to jump ship from relegation battles. {Ed013's Note - St Ledger is staying at Leicester and I don't think Mark Wilson is complete yet}

Believable0 Unbelievable7

30 Jan 2012 22:20:05
Is there any solid rumours? I'd like to see smith and Andrews

Believable3 Unbelievable3

30 Jan 2012 22:09:47
I wrote on here on fri, my gaffers daughter works for coventry telegraph, she told us a deal for clingan was close but Leeds wanted to offer paynter as a player + cash deal as we couldn't afford to fund the deal.Today she rang her dad who is a season ticket holder at leeds to inform him that the deal is dead as we are not prepared to pay the fee which was believed to be around 800k,what a joke, where's the howson fee gone.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

IF this is true it's a disgrace.

Agree4 Disagree2

I am desperate for us to bring a couple of decent players in but Clingan isn't worth 800k,if he was there would be plenty of clubs in for him

Agree6 Disagree1

I would prefer andrews anyday

Agree3 Disagree0

It's a disgrace we were even considering clingan anyway he is s**te would add nothing to us we need DEFENDERS FFs FACT

Agree1 Disagree1

Who says we are in for clingan? the media, this site then it must be true!

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 21:57:24
Can everyone stop posting stupid rumours about signing noones from non league football! Promising footballer, good talent, bla bla bla

Noone cares and it's more than likley little 13 year olds wanting to get their name on a website.

Should be called first team rumours only!!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 21:52:21
are we even gonna sign anyone or what ed? {Ed013's Note - I am confident we will get at least 1 in tomorrow, I am more concerned that none of the garbage has left!}

Believable10 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 21:47:03
any news on any signings ed? {Ed013's Note - The loan signing of Wilson from Celtic has stalled, could be down to last minute interest from another club. Other than that nothing else I'm afraid}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Maybe it has stalled but i guarentee the first Grayson knew of him being available was after he played against us in behind closed doors game last wk,which begs the question have most deals/players turned us down as usual who we have approached(if any)we will end up with 3rd 4th choice players (Brown,O'Dea)

Agree2 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 21:43:06
Hat's off to Bournemouth and Southampton. They've got ambition. The former ain't loaded with cash and get a player proven in lower leagues, and the other have cash to spend in pursuit of the PL. How I wish we had the same ambition!
Still, 3 more wins and we are safe for this season.......

Believable5 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 21:37:53
Hot off the press from a very good source close to the club ....... we aren't going to sign anyone before the window closes. We all get our hopes up as usual and as usual we'll get the excuses about our target signings going to prem clubs or not fitting in with our wage structure. However, the reality is that we all support an unambitious club who live in the past. I really hope I'm wrong but short term loan players will not get us promoted!

Believable8 Unbelievable3

30 Jan 2012 21:36:25
My opinion is danny collins is cumin to leeds perm that's why he turned down deal elsewhere adam smith loan but hav heard possibly perm prob loan to buy like pugh and also kieth andrews perm handed in request and also think he knows he made a mistake turnin down move in summer

My opinion but hav heard strong "rumours" about these 3 in particular

Lufc hughzy

Believable5 Unbelievable3

I have heard this too would all be great signings!

Agree4 Disagree0

You are right mate, your opinion, but not rumours...Collins couldn't agree personal terms with saints so theres no point him coming to speak to us,poor lad will need a sedative to stop him laughing once he sees what we offer him per wk

Agree1 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 21:35:46
Gradel, Clayton, Lonergan (so far) and thats about it!

Believable0 Unbelievable3

What?

Agree3 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 21:32:15
This is not a rumour but personally i don't believe the solution is sacking grayson, i think grayson has done well to keep us from relegation with this squad, and 2 mill for a player thats injured and would leave for nothing anyway? its bates that's the problem, the only way to get in the prem nowadays is to buy quality players and keep the ones you've got, lets hope snoddy and clayts stay when bates doesn't buy anyone in the summer

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Grayson said he had funds to spend in this window and was in his words"use all of the money he had at his disposal'...this Mark wilson must be on a hell of a whack per wk!

Agree2 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 21:16:40
when will you people learn? larry is not to be trusted with money, as his 60 signings in 3 yrs shows. name 5 success,s from that 60.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Errrrrm , there was, you know..... erm that guy lol
your correct were in trouble again

Agree5 Disagree0

Clayton, Gradel, Schmeichel, McCormack, Somma.

Also, it's closer to 40 than 60, and at least 20 of those were loans. Not saying we've had any massive successes, but it's not that bad given the small amount invested.

Agree2 Disagree2

Try 28 permanant and 23 loans!

Agree2 Disagree0

Gradel,was a recommend from Kisnorbo,thats a fact,so he dropped lucky with that 1

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 20:46:58
why do i come on here, expecting to find we have actually bought somebody??
After 3 years with Grayson, i should know better....... from a very dissapointed fan {Ed013's Note - Still 24 hours to go}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Grayson said a deal should be completed by 11 oclock tomorrow, idk if its AM or PM.

Agree0 Disagree1

Grayson talks out of his bum you should know this after 3 years of lies.

Agree6 Disagree0

Yes 24hrs to go but by tomorrow we have had 31 days!why leave it till the last minute?(to save on a couple of wks wages knowing leeds)grayson said we were close on 2 deals last wk end!i doubt this Mark Wilson was top of his wanted list on the 1st of Jan,it seems we are struggling to attract players to our club,hardly surpising when you consider the players that have left..Gradel,Johnson,Beckford,Howson,letsbe honest players will get better offers from other championship clubs both potential wise and financially..sad days {Ed013's Note - I agree mate, but unfortunately clubs don't let players go until the last day due to all sorts of reasons}

Agree1 Disagree0

He was telling us monday we'll have someone else in just the other day

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 20:39:48
I think only way we will make any form of signing will be if we can ship out 3 or 4 players on loan..

Believable2 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 20:20:16
Spending time during the transfer periods watching exciting transfers between other clubs, whilst we do sweet F.A frustrates the hell out of me like most of the rest of you.
The thing is I'm not so sure it's Bates. When other managers have been in charge they've spent (especially Blackwell). I suspect it's Grayson, who likes to spend conservatively.
Either way it's not nice for us fans and I hope it's just a reflection of one guys lack of ambition ( no matter whether it's SG or KB) rather then a true reflection of where we stand today as a club.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Load of bull! It's down to Bates how much we are allowed to spend, nobody else! If you don't realise this you must be as daft as your post sounds!

Agree2 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 19:45:55
we dont need a striker we need a midfielder

Believable1 Unbelievable2

We need a pacey striker, we need ball winning ball playing CM and we need a no nonsense have it CB with pace.

Agree4 Disagree0

What we need and what we will get is a different matter. If we haven't got them in by now then its unlikeley we will get anyone in at all

Agree1 Disagree1

"We need a pacey striker, we need ball winning ball playing CM and we need a no nonsense have it CB with pace"

Absolutely 100% spot on.

Agree1 Disagree1

"We need a pacey striker, we need ball winning ball playing CM and we need a no nonsense have it CB with pace."

Hearing a strong whisper that leeds are mulling over bid today for snoddy.this is genuine, dare bates accept it.don't expect to hear anything till late tomorrow till after the renewals deadline.I'm hearing west broom could be the team

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Sell snodgrass if the money is right Leeds have a value of £5mil so anything above that they should and would accept.

Agree0 Disagree2

If we decide we will get promoted with his help and the bid is less than 6 mil i wouldn't take it.
at end of the day we will have to sell him in the summer if we don't get promoted this season if we want to get that sort of money . we could keep him past summer but if we are not running away with the league by jan next season he will be off for 2 mil

Agree1 Disagree1

Snodgrass DESERVES to be in the PL. If he stays 'til summer we should grateful. He is the only player worth paying to watch at ER.

Agree2 Disagree1

Same happened last window with gradel but no time to replace. Will probably happen again

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 19:25:16
when killa and bradley were shunted out larry stated we were looking for a better quality player to take the club to the next level.half a season later.......the club is a total joke i have supported leeds over 50years but my allegiance is being firmly tested.

I posted a comment the other day on this site saying that Alan Smith would not be coming to Leeds Utd and he isn't, he had his chance before now, (I was right just like when I stated that Ross McCormack would be signing 2 - 3 days before it became public).
I told you to sit and watch this space; latest names to come in will be Mark Wilson, Danny Higginbotham, Keith Andrew and dont rule out Billy Sharp!!

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Proves you were lucky as u clearly know nothing.Billy sharp has gone to Southampton,do your homework.and I'll predict we are below halfway next week

Agree1 Disagree1

Sharp is off to Southampton.

Agree1 Disagree0

We all bow down to you....you are the man! Sharp signed for Southampton on 3.5yr deal.....but you probably posted that 4 weeks ago

Agree2 Disagree0

Sharpe would have been good wilsons injury prone as for the other 2 hope your wrong andrews had his chance earlier in the season

Agree1 Disagree1

Muppet. no way bates would sanction all thoz money players plus Sharp HAS signed fo r S'TON.........Simples.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 19:18:44
Leeds are signing him,Leeds are gona get this player, that player..Boring....wake me up when we actually sign someone,oh and let me carry on sleeping if it's another Celtic cast off...shrew leeds

Believable2 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 18:45:48
come on uncle ken, get your sack of money out, and sign keith andrews

Believable4 Unbelievable4

If we sell our players on short fees and the rest on appearances etc etc - why don't we do the same when buying players and pay half upfront plus rest on promotion or appearances, then maybe we can reach the dizzy heights and compete with Bournmouth....!

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 18:40:41
leicster and ipswich both made big signings at begging of the season and look where there are southampton sign billy sharpe good at donny but who is to say he,ll hit it off at southampton leeds in an ok postion in league just need to get a good run together and we,ll be ok trust me i no wot im on about

Believable1 Unbelievable6

30 Jan 2012 18:31:44
Mark wilson from Celtic has signed until the end of the current season good player but has injuries if he gets match fit should be great signing

Believable0 Unbelievable6

30 Jan 2012 18:28:35
I hope to god the Bertrand rumour isn't true, the left hand side is the only part of our squad that has real competition..white,Townsend,Pugh and rogers,we must get another centre midfielder and centre half before tomorrows out,if anything happens to clayton/delph or delph gets called back we are in trouble, also if anything happens to becchio or McCormack its either forsell or paynter my got I bet that will give some centre halves in our league some sleepless nights!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 18:09:58
I've avoided posting on here for a while, simply because it has deteriorated rapidly into pathetic rants and child like tantrums.

Seriously, some people on here need to get a grip of themselves, no wonder other clubs laugh we we say we are the best fans in the world.

Would I rather have someone else running the club ? Yes of course, would I have another manager ? Possibly, although quite who we think we would get who's so much better than Grayson I don't know.

I understand that expectations are always high, but we have to realise that we've done WELL the last 2 seasons, and are well in the race this year.

Some of the transfers maybe haven't worked out, but that's no different from any other club. Yes we would all love to see new players come in, but that's no guarantee of anything (Leicester anyone?).

Rogers, Delph, Pugh are solid signings as will be the lad Wilson from Celtic if we get him. For all the bile that gets thrown around on here, you'd think we are bottom of the league.

What's even funnier is that the general consensus on here is that we need 3 players! So all we need to unite us all is 3 players ? I doubt that some how, some of our "fans" will always find something to moan about.

There's far too much rubbish being spouted on this site. Hate Bates ? Fine, then write to him. Want Grayson out ? Fine, but keep it away from the ground on matchdays.

Get behind the team no matter what (is that not what our song is all about ?) The best thing we can do is stick together and support the lads, no matter what. MOT (a true Leeds UNITED fan).

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Excellent post pal, it took me a while to reply because I was dumfounded at reading some sensible comments for a change, rather than pubescent ranting.
Thankyou.

Agree4 Disagree3

I'd agree if the team had shown any form in last ten games but we haven't.we have been lucky with other teams going down to ten men.we are going nowhere,,fact

Agree2 Disagree1

I see there are four disagrees and three agrees to the original post, and one disagree and one agree to my post, but only one actual post.
Do not hide behind a click of your mouse or whatever, let us hear what you have to say, choose to agree or disagree, but please explain your thinking.

I would like to know how someone can disagree with the fact the I agree with someone elses opinion, you don't know me, you don't own me, you don't control me.
So there it is Disagree person, come back at me.

Agree0 Disagree3

Now now boys let's just agree to disagree shall we haha. Honestly some of the drama queens on here. Maybe some people disagree but someone else has already posted their views previously or maybe they were just skimming thru and noticed a view they didn't agree with but had to put the kids to bed and planned to answer later. Just stick to your opinion on football,to which u r entitled.

Agree2 Disagree0

Totally agree that we have to support and encourage the team...the lads are great keep it up! what i am angry it is the lies from the board but more importantly the mistreatment of the playing staff and the fans

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 17:47:06
leeds will not get any more players because grayson to busy prepareing for tues game

Believable3 Unbelievable4

30 Jan 2012 17:40:06
there's 1 game i wont be excited about if our defence doesn't sorted out soon and that is Southampton ,the pain that billy sharp and Ricky Lambert will inflict on us Leeds fans. just have to close our eyes and pray for the best .

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Billy Sharp is very very over-rated. But we should have signed Lambert when he and us were in League One.

Agree2 Disagree2

30 Jan 2012 17:13:14

30 Jan 2012 16:26:28
Leeds need to buy players before deadline day and thats tomorrow so Ken Bate needs a buy players quick

BATES OUT THIS YEAR !!

Believable7 Unbelievable2

I’d rather bates than allot of these other billionaire owners that we have scene. At least now are making a profit and paying it's tax bill. So for me Bates in until the right person comes, not just the first person. After all just because they are worth a bit doesn't mean they will be good for this club!

Agree2 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 16:25:54
anyone got any realistic rumours? hearing alot about this bertrand guy from chelsea, is he any good? also i feel we need permanent signings not loans.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 16:20:28
some of you lot disgust me, you cry about 'lack of signings', then when we sign somebody, you crucify them before theyve even kicked a ball, typical with some of you fans, so pessimistic, if you want quality signings, go support Man City

Believable4 Unbelievable9

Maybe your just happy sitting mid table watch The Mighty Leeds United rot and fall apart, but some of us are proud of our team and want a decent team to support.

Agree6 Disagree3

Nobody's "crucifying" the signings mate. But can you honestly say we've made any moves to really excite the fans and change the feeling of doom and gloom around the club?

Agree7 Disagree2

Looking to the future and leeds will be in league 2 with bates incharge , i can see him selling all the players we have and just using our youth team players that have been promoted to senior squad and what we don'thave we will just get loan players in

Agree4 Disagree3

I wouldnt say we was exactly sitting mid table, 3 points off the play-offs, a good atmosphere around ER instead of the Bates Out garbage followed with a decent run and we are still in this play-off picture, and were not exactly rotting and falling apart are we? thats a bit extreme, weve sold players maybe we shouldnt have, theyre gone now, look forwards not backwards

Agree4 Disagree3

I support leeds why would i go support man city.i dont expect multi million pound signings thats just dumb.....but i do expect to see re-investment such as permanent signings.....or i do expect to see evidence that quality players want to come to leeds to better their career not just a retirement home to finish your final days in or a stepping stone while owners decide how best to ofload......jesus if your happy with that go support scarborough because we are a better club than that and fans deserve better

Agree3 Disagree0

I'd rather look back to the year 2000-01, as the future seems very bleak at the moment. When was the last time we signed a player and thought "gosh, he's a great signing"? Wilkinson brought in big names V.Jones, G.Strachan (for starters) why can't Grayson entice players like these? pay a decent wage and get someone like J.Barton, offer 10 grand a week and a wage rise to 40 grand after promotion + 100k bonus. Gives the player the incentive to get promotion and motivation for better wage and league.

Agree1 Disagree0

What signings ? was i sleeping? did we sign someone ?

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think now is bleak you obviously were born yesterday. We've been almost bankrupt and down to league one and back. Did you miss that bit? Oh you talk about 2001 so you must be older than 10, but then if you think Barton would get out of bed for 10k,or even 40k a week you are seriously deluded!

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 15:50:40
Anyone else really looking forward to the transfer window closing? Sick of the disapointment

Believable11 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 15:22:44
There is so much rubbish on this site, what happened to beckford coming to leeds, from is cousin, is deranged cousin i think

Leeds have signed mark wilson on loan from celtic, got inside info from someone part of the medical team

Believable0 Unbelievable8

Not signed yet! not happened, but might happen

Agree4 Disagree0

Course you have. Its been on SSN for 3 hours!

Agree7 Disagree0

Your insider must have a sky dish... thats been on sky sports news for the last 2 hours..... come back when u have sumat new

Agree6 Disagree0

I feel so much better now,at last a quality signing from a club with so many stars that he just couldnt get in the team.im now convinced we will be in the play offs and go on a long unbeaten run....NOT...your just taking the piss out of me and my serious weekly cash input into leeds.thats if this is true and if that is only signing.of course the lad needs support but if this is our only signing then grayson do yourself a favour and resign,i say this because your obviously not been supported by your boss and everyone will just get on your back when we dont pick up....shrew leeds

Agree4 Disagree0

Why should Grayson resign? Bates is the one controlling the budgets and if he won't pay top wages then we won't get top players.

Agree2 Disagree3

I didnt mean he should resign cos i dont want him,he should resign to give himself some dignity as he will kop the flack when we are not performing.for his own sanity resign

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats the job of being a manager, if he cant take the flack theres plenty of other professions out there, he can handle the pressure and hes a good manager it comes with the job, same as the players, if they cant handle a few people getting on their back then they should just retire

Agree1 Disagree0

No he should resign because he is a pi55 poor manager. he cant attract anybodyhalf decent and tactically is inept. all in all our club is to big for him. time to go grayson

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 15:05:07
now that southampton have signed billy sharpe leeds will bring in lee barnard who slips even further down the pecking order at st fairy's!

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Already got barn door. do we need the barn yard too

Decent striker, went down pecking order when Du Prado and Lambert amd connoly went there

I've always supported Simon Grayson and I've been one of the few on here who usually keep upbeat about the club we love. But I really feel that this transfer window could spell the end for Simon Grayson.

It looks as though we're going to sign just one more player, Mark Wilson on loan from Celtic. Even though he can play anywhere across the back four, he's primarily a right-back. He's also very injury prone.

We were crying out for an out-and-out solid, strong, take-no-prisoners centre half, and possibly another central midfielder in the same vein. I am a fan of Delph but against Ipswich he looked really out of sorts and not at all fit. Also a striker with genuine pace wouldn't have gone amiss.

I must emphasise that up to now I've been one of those who would tell people to "stop moaning". But now even I have lost faith in the whole set up at Leeds United. I really thought we HAD to go for it this month. I don't think we have done anywhere near enough.

Oh well, let's just hope Robbie Rogers is as good as Gradel and we pluck some late gems from somewhere. Here's hoping!

P.S. I will be right behind the team in the meantime, I don't agree with all the "Bates out" garbage during games.

Believable11 Unbelievable1

There's one more day to go in the transfer window. I'm hoping (But not holding my breath) for 2 or 3 decent additions. But you are right! Writing will be on the wall come the 1st Feb when we haven't added any quality.

HAHA. Is that you Ken, did you write this post?!

SG said that he is looking at bringing in 3 players, one moving quicker than the other 2 - Source Yorkshire Post

Believable0 Unbelievable7

You disagree that Grayson has said that well look for yourself fool!

Agree0 Disagree3

Well Grayson better step on it, because he's got less than 48 hours left!

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm sure the reply doesn't disagree that Grayson said it - just that he(or she) doesn't believe it - too many lies coming out of ER these days

Agree5 Disagree2

30 Jan 2012 12:06:40
Re SG's comments on OS that we will be 'keeping an eye on Alan Smith' until the end of the season with a view to a potential move in the summer ( if he plays games and gets match fit). WHY has he come out and said that. It merely keeps the Smith bandwagon going in terms of rumours. Its an issue which divides fans and is something we should not be debating if we are not going to sign him NOW. Why are we talking about someone who has just signed for MK Dons in League one when we have not made the 'exciting signings' which were promised. SG would be better advised to sort some younger, fitter, hungry players who we cam build the future on before Tuesday nights game v Birmingham!

Believable11 Unbelievable0

Why has he said that, SG is dealings with the media are crap and make him look like a fool. He gets railroaded into answering question that other managers wouldn't and its incompetent at best!

Agree9 Disagree0

Dear me you moan about lack of clarity and honesty from Grayson etc when he is straight and honest you still moan! He said that if smith is fit and has got some competitive games under his belt we may look at him in the summer! What is wrong
with that?

So Smith knows he is welcome back if he can prove his fitness. i'm sure Grayson has had meetings with him and his agent and promised a deal if he can get regular football, which is why Smith is now at MK.

Agree2 Disagree5

Smith will be pleased grayson is keeping an eye on him, especially as another manager will be warming the seat by then

Agree3 Disagree6

You asked WHY? That is exactly the point they want us to keep arguing & debating about this Smith issue, hence taking the fans minds off the transfer activity or should I say lack of.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah, I agree with the post directly above. Triangulation of the issues and smoke and mirrors!

Looking on the OS site it looks like we will be in for Smith in the summer if his loan works out. I really hope not as this is not building for the future and SG comments will just serve as incentive for the rumours to be banded about.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

What do you know ? smith could have another 4 yrs in him yet . i think we need him unless we find someone better for that holding role which is the position we have been looking for , we still haven't found anyone for the amount of money we are willing to pay and smith will do that job great and will be a free transfer so if you can find anyone better and cheaper give bates a ring and let him know. maybe he will give you the job of managing leeds .lol

Agree4 Disagree8

What I know is that in 5 years and being paid £60k per week smith was limited to 85 appearances thats it and since his injury utd he for scum he played only 18 games for them. In the last two years he has played only 16 games. He has also not scored in the last 5 seasons and he has only 2 goals in the last 7 seasons.

So I gues what I'm saying I know is he is an injury ravaged, over paid, under used, cant score a goal for, and very average player.

lol - wtf?

Agree7 Disagree2

Sorry forgot to say he can't tackle and refs think he is dirty, this is why he has been sent of sent off seven times and booked 67 enough said really just what leeds need!

Agree7 Disagree1

It's all a joke isn't it? I've always liked Grayson, but come on Simon, doesn't the fact he's gone to League One tell you anything?

I'm now even more undecided about renewing my Season Ticket.

Agree7 Disagree1

Surely getting games under his belt is purely to get him in the shop window so that when he's a free agent, he can find a club. If he gets games and does well at MK, then I'd happily see him back. That's what Grayson's effectively saying too - He's the kind of player that would fit in, but if he's not getting games, he's not worth the gamble.

We'll know better if he's money grabbing in the summer when we see where he signs and what his wages are like.

Agree0 Disagree6

It is a joke, at a time when he should be focused on fringe players leaving and more importantly adding much needed quality to the squad.

Agree5 Disagree0

Yeah that hes garbage

Agree1 Disagree0

His name sells shirts, thats why bates is happy for summer move

Agree0 Disagree5

His name sells shirts? Maybe to those who think it's still 1998 and Alan Smith is still a young, raw striker with ability and what seems to be a genuine love of Leeds United.

NEWSFLASH. It's 2012 and Alan Smith is an over-rated, overpaid and over-the-hill neither striker nor midfielder with a genuine love of money and himself.

His name sells shirts? His name's going to cost the club Season Ticket renewals!

Face it folks, Smith as a footballer is just like the poster of him you still have on your bedroom walls - faded and ready for the bin.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Calm down mate, look where Leicester are in the league table.

Agree4 Disagree1

And they're doing so well with all the money they've spent. What's your point?

Agree2 Disagree0

They have got money we haven't.

Agree1 Disagree0

Theyre not doing so well at all lol they should be top of the league with the money theyve spent and the players theyve bought, theyre an average side on the pitch and thats been shown, even WE the so called worst leeds team in history turned them over at their ground

Seriously, did anyone really want Alan Smith back at ER? We had his best years and he's way past that now. I don't think he could have added anything to our current squad.

Leeds still have class all over the park. Snoddy, Clayts (and Becchio on form) are as good as anything in the division while Aidy White and Tom Lees are growing with every game. With a run of wins, there's no reason we can't push for automatic promotion, nevermind the playoffs!

MOT!!

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Dreamer.yes i wanted him to have a chance, and as for best midfield in league then i must have been watching diff players when ive seen them overun in nearly all last 7 games.until the other team went down to ten then they looked better

Agree1 Disagree2

Yes Leeds have class all over the park, agreed. So why is it that we are playing carp? Must be down to the Manager and his motivation, tactics, etc.

Agree1 Disagree2

I think he will sign for leeds in the summer so dont think hes gone for good

Howson latest reason why he moved to Norwich not money, not that Leeds have no ambition, not that he wanted premiership football it is the Norfolk Broads, yeas the Norfolk Broads thats what he has said in a recent press interview because of his love for fishing.
