It would be fantastic if the board could sign Martin ONeill. He would work wonders with a small budget in the Championship

Not a rumour just want to congratulate the under 18s and Richard naylor for winning their league. Well done lads!
Although I want to see a new manager in, I have some sympathy for NW. I can't see how his tactics are to blame for our so called forwards missing so many chances. He is correct to point out that we should have at least ten more points if our forwards could score. We should have been out of sight today before young Lees was sent off.
Perhaps a note of caution to those who want to see more youth in the team, discipline is important no room for petulance. Hopefully Tom will learn from today.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

If our strikers could score, our midfield pass and defenders defend and goalkeeper catch we would be great

Agree4 Disagree0

So why loan out Poleon?

It Tom Lees had been sent off earlier in the season would he have been loaned out!

How can Neil warnock blame tom lees saying he's let everyone down, ill tell you now Neil, that lad has certainly not let us fans down, how about looking at yourself and your own rubbish signings, where do we start, let's see, paddy Kenny, Lee Peltier, Adam drury, Luke varney, Michael tonge, David Norris, habibou, oh and not to mention Steve morison, who missed a sitter 6 yds out at 0 a piece and us down to 10 men you missed that, so before you slate someone who is Leeds through and through and will lead us back to prem and will be here a lot longer after you and your misfireing misfits are packed up and safely heading down m5 back to f---ing Cornwall or wherever it is you come from.

Sunderland battered in H2, and played some great football. Get o Neil now!

Not a rumour, more a probe for opinion, Martin O'neil shown the door at Sunderland, maybe a future at ER?

I think he has always done well with a low budget, wherever he's been, could be the slightly off-square block to fit in GFHC's peculiarly shaped holes (and shallow pockets)?

I was also at the ipswich game today, again I stood with the ipswich paying £29. 00 per ticket, for the first half an hour it was probaly the best football we have played all season, except we could not score, hit the post from a corner, two shots cleared of the line then morrison missing a sitter, lees got sent off ipswichcame back into the game had there first shot after 30mins, our players tierd in the second half, still had the best chances and lost 3. 0 I think warnock got the team playing well, if lees did not get sent of we would have won easily

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Warnock on Lees " Weve got one lad who's let everyone Down, he's let me down, the team down, and all the fans who travelled here" Even the Red nosed one who we hate sticks up for his players, these are disgraceful comments putting the whole defeat down to the young lad is unnaceptable

Believable16 Unbelievable2

It's no one else's fault but Warnocks, fact!

What's wrong with keeping it in the dressing room? Say what you want to say behind closed doors but in public your players are your players. Now what's so difficult about that?

An open letter to NW;

I was at the game, at Portman Road today, I sat in the Bobby Robson Stand, with the Ipswich supporters! and I paid £36. 00 a ticket.

For the first fifteen to twenty minutes we were all over Ipswich; Loach (Ipswich goalkeeper) couldn't hold a hot potato but, neither could Morison or Varney hit a barn door fom Six yards; we should have been 4 - 0 up in the first twenty minutes; point in case Morison only has to tap the ball in from six yards and instead cannoned it over for what would have been three points in rugby; my twelve week old grandson could have scored from there.

OK so Lees got sent off! but, the game should have been well out of Ipswich's reach by then

Lees was a bit petulant but will he be banished like Poleon? NO

It's no good Lees looking for revenge for a first half clash of heads with TABB get over it and get on with the game

With the exception of Sam Byram and Stephen Warnock the rest of the team need to be transfer listed NOW and you should RESIGN

I feel robbed and cheated; under the trade descriptions act NW can I have
my money back

Believable10 Unbelievable1

If you went to the game think your find you had a few half chances yes first 20 mins you had a hold but with crap players your never get anything get over it better team won the game is 90 not 20 go back to dreaming of your takeover that was never going to happen

Agree0 Disagree6

Just pissed myself laughing!

The best team didn't win; we just threw the game away due to poor managerial leadership, poor attacking options, players past their prime, a petulant player who needs a bit of guidance and support from his boss and some knob in yellow who didn't know his arse a from his elbow

Agree5 Disagree0

The game is about goals you score more you win simple you keep going on about what you missed try spending all that millions you got o sorry you ain't if you can't score from 6yrds then give up and go back to league 1 where you belong

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Norris did start today!

Agree1 Disagree0

I've never been one to slag off the manager but I agree with this post, Warnock is stale with old fashioned idea's, other managers seem to have worked out his team before they step out onto the pitch, it is time to go and if there isn't a good enough manager available then put backroom staff in charge on a temporary basis.

Just heard that GFH are Fuxxixg clueless - how the hell is keeping Warnock in post any good - I suppose eventually even a bloody person will see how sh1t our squad is and they will act - but letting Warnock have any input in the future choice of replacement would be like saying he knows what he is doing - for f sake sack him now or pay him off - relegation under him is not impossible this year - take note!,,,,

We aren't going to get a play off pot, we need to get a grounding for next season.

Lets pull all of our youngsters in and give then the chance that Warnocks cronies can't deliver.

Believable12 Unbelievable1

30 Mar 2013 18:16:22
I wish some people would just calm down, ok we are 7 pts off relegation but look at the position in the league, all them teams below us won't pick up 8 pts they'll be lucky to pick up 8 pts between them, so drop the drama queen act. ok it's been a bad season but there is no way we will be relegated so stop been stupid.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Had to check the date, thought it was April 1st already when I read this one, This team is well capable of relegation as form is dictating at present, you've made a brave post, but if we lose the next 3 or 4 we could be in the mix.

Agree3 Disagree1

Peterborough won 3pts sheff we'd won 3pts Blackburn drew 1 point Ipswich won as we know 3 pts. U do the math and that's just this weekend, we need to get real if we don't win another game from now till end if season we will/could be in serious trouble.

We were playing Ipswich off the park today until lees got sent off and even then we still had the chances to score loads.

Warnock has just slaughtered Tom Lees in his post match interview, it was well over the top, if that's his way of dealing with our young talent by slating them over the radio then good riddance, can't take an ounce of blame himself, he's blamed refs, players, GET HIM OUT NOW and take some of HIS signings with him.

Believable14 Unbelievable1

30 Mar 2013 18:39:01
That man is so god damn arrogant it's untrue! he does not deserve to manage this club a minute longer! he is just completely oblivious to the real world.

Agree9 Disagree0

Totally agree, take the rubbish signings with him. still can't understand why we accepted morisson in part ex 4 becchio. it seems to me morisson is not becchios replacement but barn door billy s the bloke is garbage. 2.8 million for him effing joke we could have picked up 3 decent players 4 that 4 eg boyd would have cost half a million burke about the same leaving 2 million for a decent striker.

Agree7 Disagree1

30 Mar 2013 19:50:43
Boyd is up at 3 million. Morison will come good is all round play is good just needs some luck.

Agree1 Disagree5

I agree you can not do that to lees cause he made one bad foul all season long when he has been brilliant and white needs to get playing time cause has been brilliant over the last couple of games and Austin

relegation is more likely than the playoffs, new manager asap to sort out what very few players are good enough to play for leeds

Believable9 Unbelievable3

30 Mar 2013 17:42:53
Warnock just leave your not wanted.

I wonder do the fans who have been constantly backed him this year with the usual lines of "we're only so many points from the playoffs and it's still mathematically possible to make the playoffs", what's their opinions now on us being 7 points of the relegation places meaning it's mathematically possible for us to go down.

Surely the rose tinted glasses have to be taken off now there's not one possible argument to defend this man.

In every single way he has brought us backwards.

I defy anybody to logically argue that Warnocks latest comments "The foundations are laid now and the club will benefit from the hard work that has gone in over the past 13 months or so" are true.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

It's not mathamatically possible anymore as we needed to win all games before today to get to 76 points at the end which could have just about get us in to the playoffs, now we can only get up to 73 if we win all games which would see us 2 points off like we were under grayson. So it's guaranteed that there will be no change under warnock

Agree3 Disagree0

30 Mar 2013 19:53:34
6th place will probably end up with 72 points this season but I don't think we will even get to 63

Our strikers are effin worse than Emile heskey they make his strike rate look fantastic. if the 1st team players have given up. dump them put kids who've just singed up and won under 18 league (congrats on that lads) at least they'd fight tooth and nail during games not just go thru motions! Sick of this mediocre crap week in week out and even when we win the footballs painful to digest and ye ( I don't get to all matches now adays due to family reasons can't even get my 7 year old to come nowadays he would rather go rhinos )but that don't make me a lesser fan been following white since 1972. wish all the current lot ie Neil gfh and our loving shirt kissing journey men would now do 1 and make way for somebody who would die for privilege to wear our shirt if they put a decent shift in and lost I'd rather see that than half hearted crap that's dished out to us this season. say what you will guys that's my opinion 100% effort in my book beats 30% skill/ wool pulling garbage we've been dished up of late

30 Mar 2013 17:27:37
The only reason Warnock's still here is because he said he'd leave at the end of the season. Had he not said that all year then he'd have sacked by now surely? This has been a brutal season for managers everywhere (moreso than most seasons) and yet this senile fool is still in a job? This has to be the only reason.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Some persons were saying keep warnock for next season only a few weeks ago?

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock only has a contract until the end of the season, full stop. Not his choice? Weren't you watching when he got employed?

Hopefully he will be gone by the next game, whatver!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes stated, if GFH want to bring in a new manager now he's prepared to walk, all chance of promotion is long gone, surely now would be a good time for a new man, make us safe and plan for next season, what good will NW stopping till the end of the season do, if, as appears GFH are being guided by him, its God help us, FFS GFH, get your finger out.

Agree2 Disagree0

Warnock doesn't have a choice about leaving, he was only employed till the end of this seaso anyway.

The sooner he is gone, now, the better!

Agree1 Disagree0

OP here. I meant that it has been common knowledge that he is only going to be here for this season (with a few rumbling some time ago about a contract extension) so yes I was paying attention, funnily enough, to the team I f***ing support when he was appointed! I meant that this common knowledge has made it not worth the effort to sack and replace him. otherwise he would have gone by now. if anybody else has trouble reaing very simple messages then please let me know and I will try to translate it into person language for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

He would lose 2 months wages that's why he hasn't walked!

Agree0 Disagree0

He plays brown instead of Dawson, a player he describes himself as the next giles! He has no motivation unless it's his own, he is blind and ignorant and stupid. He should not be Leeds manager now or 2 weeks ago. We are wasting very precious time.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Mar 2013 17:21:57
Warnock, please just go. It almost seems as though he wants to destroy our club. Get rid before it's too late. 7 points off relegation and in terrible form. It really is looking glum.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

To be fair I think that is harsh!I agree its time for a change, but that he wants to destroy us?i have to disagree.

Agree1 Disagree4

Here we go with the pathetic conspiracy theories, FFS give it a rest, the guy may not be up to the job but to come out with crap like that beggars belief.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2013 17:10:16
who would you say is to blame for Leeds poor run of results the players or manager or both? I would say it is down to the manager as it is him who picks the team and the tactics.

Apparently we had chances and played well, but the scoreline speaks for itself, Eddie Gray just said that we were beaten by a very average side, I would rather see the season out managerless than listen to Warnocks excuses Week in and out, it's been a very disappointing season that Ipswich have finally put to bed for us. Roll on August.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

So at half time on tv sport they said Ipswich were winning and the 3 points would help them in the battle against relegation. Well looking at Leeds we are know 3 points above them and 7 points above the relegation zone, so now in the space of a week we find our beloved team no longer playing for a top six finish but now avoiding the relegation battle.
What a torrid time it is been a Leeds United fan and there never seems to be anything to get your hopes up no more.

We could do a lot worse than appoint Uwe Rosler as the new manager for beginning of 2013-2014 season with Gunnar Halle as his assistant.
Rosler managed Molde at the end of 2010 for the last 8 games of the season, with Halle as his assistant.
They won 6 & drew the other 2 games.
Rosler is currently doing an impressive job for Brentford in League 1 and has made no secret of the fact that he wants to get back to the premiership.

Brian McDermett has said today that he would "jump" at the chance to manage Leeds according to the YEP. How do others feel about this? In my view he would be a good manager at Championship level, he got Reading to the Playoffs then won the league the year after with 16 wins in 19 games. He's still young in manager terms and hungry, we could do a lot worse.

Players signing, investors coming, manager leaving-next year has to be better. Poster down a few is right. Keep a few of the first team, blood a few youngsters, buy a few and new manager will make next year a prem year. can't be worse than this year. Jigsaw is coming together. Just a shame we have to suffer the rest of this season.
