Tickets for West Sydney V Leeds on sale next month lads. Never would have imagined that LUFC would be playing 20 mins from my house. Hopefully as a premiership team . July is winter here but still mild especially by Yorkshire standards. I'm providing the BBQ for any banter travellers and depending on how well your Mrs goes Ausman, maybe we will bring her across the country for seconds mate. Are you coming here Aus?

Under 23s in action vs Newcastle, looks like we're going into the break 1-0 down.

Brown playing and Bamford on the bench. That's good news!

Brown almost got a goal, cms away but looks like he is building up his match fitness.

Finished 2-0, the pluses tonight Brown 80 mins and Bamford 45. Seems like Brown showed more trickery tonight and we had chances but didn’t take them! I suspect it’s Brown and Bamford having competitive minutes before the end of November that is the real win.

Depending on how he is coping with training during the week, I’d imagine that Brown could be competing for a space on the bench pretty soon. Bamford looks a few more weeks off, but good news!

I’m hoping brown makes a diff for us.
I’m hoping he is a notch above baker and Harrison.
Wat u think Spanish?

Ok, firstly let me apologise for tomorrows result. “Why? ” I hear you cry. Quite simply because it’s entirely my fault, not the players, not the manager. Here’s why…

Sometimes as a look at a game beforehand, I say to myself that it’s an easy win. Sometimes I’m right, sometimes I’m wrong.

Other times as a look at a game beforehand, I say to myself that I’d take a draw. Sometimes I walk away happy, sometimes I walk away sad.

Obviously at this point I’ve not proven myself to have the foresight into future results. I’m no Oracle, I’m just a hopeful fan. However….

Sometimes I get a “Bad Feeling” about a game. Whenever I’ve had a Bad Feeling (and it’s not just trapped wind) , We’ve always gone on to lose the game, and convincingly so.

I’m afraid I’ve got a bad feeling about tomorrow’s game, and these bad feelings have never been wrong. Therefore, tomorrow’s loss is entirely my fault for having this bad feeling in the first place. Sorry lads. My bad.

{Ed025's Note - i think that is just trapped wind SS..

I know where you’re coming from Southern, I had a that bad feeling before Birmingham and West Brom but I haven’t got it tonight! Hoping that Bielsa will have thought a lot about West Brom and have a better plan!

Another reason for winning tomorrow to break your spell!

Beware that little goal poacher Billy sharp. Would definitely take a point of offered now. We really do need to continue the run so hoping for at least a point.

Hope Grot comes back with more confidence and a different mindset. He is still young and giving the right coaching (Bielsas/ Corberans coaching) then he can turn into quite a useful player for us 2019/ 20.

Nope. Grot is not good enough and never will be.

He's apparently doing well in Holland, just called up for his first U-21 cap. I'm looking forward to him coming back, and hope the idiots at ER actually get behind him, welcome him back instead of booing him. After all, he's only 20 and a stranger in a strange land :)

I love the way we write these guys off, 20 and caste off to the lower leagues for ever!

Grot, if he gets his confidence up, and scoring shoes on, will be a massive asset under Bielsas style. Pace, movement, and power, and an engine. I hope he comes back reinvigorated, and ready to tear up the PL next season!

Hear hear Brighty, let’s hope the best for him and for us!

Think Grot can def be an asset to the squad, physique, pace and has the skills. Needs to toughen up mentally but he will learn to ignore the boo boys as his confidence grows. Big question is is he an out and out striker, not sure. Bielsa will sort his best position if he rates him. Will be interested to see what happens with Cibbicki now he is back.

Tough game blunts away do u play siaz in this one because need to hit them on the counter just think him running at them with the ball could b a big key in this game . Had this feeling all week thou that klich will score sat thens it's 20 yards or 30 yards everywhere we go 40 yards and 50 yards klich scores a goal 🥅.

We dig in and most of the time we get a win or draw. We don't look anything above average most of the time but we seem very very difficult to beat. It is a bit baffling. As others have said. Credit to Bielsas tactics and the teams togetherness and spirit. If we keep getting points from games without playing too well and with a poor conversion rate. Who knows. Just maybe.

Aus, I think initially our style and impact was taking people by surprise and the goals matched it. Now, they know what to expect and set up to deal with it and make it harder for us to break through. We still get a lot of the ball and the opponents have to work hard to get it and create something with it. They are still scared of us. But it’s hard for all but the very best to do that all game. West Brom Had the players to keep it up and the class showed.

We are still making chances just not taking them and when was the last time we got a game changing early goal. Douglas should have got it against Reading and I reckon we would have stormed it.

I agree Spanish.
The only thing I would say is.
Move the ball forward quicker.
Goalie is having a heart attack the amount of time the ball is just outside his penalty area.
Keep possession yes. But further forward.

Some times it's the perfect goal Arsenal disease. I just wish that sometimes players would have a go. You never know something may even come from rebounds and even miss hit shots.

Agree leodis, shot on sight, if it misses it misses, if not it's working the goalie or it's rippling the onion bag :)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Nov 2018 17:25:07
Yeah Al. At first "if it misses, it misses" is acceptable. If you don't try you don't know. Might just add a few to Roofeys stats sniffing out some rebounds. However after a while I would be getting on to the players Work The Goalie, everytime. Don't even get me started on some of these highly paid professionals who insist on skying the ball. It so annoys me that after all this time and coaching they still lean back when taking a shot. Work the goalie not the man in row Z!

Agreed leodis, also why do they wait for someone to stand in front of them and then try to kick it through them? :)
