So where's all these so called signings then ?

We all like to think KB/SG know what they are doing and that there is some grand plan but did getting so close to the start of the season with no keeper look like people who knew what they were doing? Or saying hands off Max until hours before the transfer deadline and then saying yes ok have him sound like people with a plan? We will not buy anyone, its frees and loans and the Barca compo, 1.5 M for Kasper, and reported 3M for Max will make no difference.

to all of you who are saying that we are splashing the cash, as much as i too would like to see it happen it wont right now. This doesnt mean that it wont it just means that with the new funds we have time to make stronger acquisitions than we prevoiusly thought. This would have led to panic buys and strong risk of failure. Would rather wait until january to sign someone following extensive scouting that would make good impact than someone who runs risk of becoming expensive flop

If we all feel stongly about Bates, then like me...please start to talk with your feet. I have stopped going to games, spending money in shop and spending money on drinks etc in the ground. I also haven't renewed my £40 membership. My dad had also given up his season ticket....as he has seen enough off the pitch. One thing ranting...another thing acting. Come on...let's get our club back!

We are Leeds United, not some tin pot club. I am a 34 year old business man and am staggered that we are allowing 'undisclosed fee' mentality in today's world. No other industry would stand for this. Ken Bates must spend some money tonight or we are in massive trouble. I will have to wait till 11pm but I fear that Leeds under KB have become a selling club with the sole intent of lining the chairmans pockets. It is a really sad reflection of what our club has become when our player of the season leaves on deadline day for a reported £5m and it looks like no additions will be added to our already weak squad

I really believe every Leeds fan has given Bates the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. Not happy about the changing of the goalposts for Man U game. Am a member who takes daughter to as many games i can afford. Looking at it to have any chance must purchase membership for her £40 plus tickets for Palace or Bristol £65 + tickets for actual game £65 , that comes to £170 + ancillaries, well out of my range.gutted

Boycott the game... I wish every Leeds fan would.. Just to show Ken Bates that without the fans there is no club.

I dont normally comment on the lack of movement from Leeds...and havent done all through pre season and the past few weeks, but for some reason today, with it being deadline day, i feel anxious and i dont like it. i want to hear and see some positive movement from the club now, even if it is just 1 player. i dont want to be negative as i always have faith in leeds and what happens there, but i am worried as i convinced myself we would sign players today. Wish there was something concrete...anyone?

We are playing well and can challenge for play offs again, however now gradel gone, nunez is good replacement but Sam is not up to it this season. I do hope some is invested, however the stadium does need updating if we are going to compete again. Totally agree with this comment. Feel sorry for grayson too being his team supported as a boy too then going on to manage it only to find he as limited resources, ain't football getting crap. Think i'll buy fifa 12 instead of going to the games. At least i can choose a good team in that.

One thought is that even though we may have little chance of spending the cash from gradel is that the most likely scenario would be taking someone on loan with the option of buying in January, at least we have chance to see how the player does, reducing the risk and dangling a carrot for the player to impress perhaps

If (which looks likely) the deal goes through, we can't honestly blame bates or Grayson for it being late (as much as we'd like to blame bates) - we can't account for a club coming in late with a bid which we can't turn down can we. It's surely more than £2.5m too as we've already turned that down from west ham recently so it's not a bad deal considering he's a championship player in the last year of his contract and can demand more than our wage structure is willing to pay, also sounds like he's keen to go back to France where he grew up. Good luck to him, wish he wasn't going but he's done a great job at Leeds, shame we haven't got a chairman who will think ahead and tie him in with a long term deal. Let's hope nunez's contract is in the process of being sorted as his ends this season too and people will already sniffing I would guess
