Happy New Year to all my (in) mates on here. All the posters, the lurkers and of course the amazing Eds. Really negative I know but I woke up this morning with a horrible worrying thought .
If we can't get promoted this season being top on New Year's Day, with one of the most respected coaches in football then I don't know where we go from there . This maybe our greatest chance to get back the premier league.

We all get the jitters Mighty, it goes with the territory I’m afraid. I’ve just done a bit of number crunching and over the last 8 seasons the average number of points to win automatic promotion from the Championship has been 88. In 2012/ 13 Hull even managed it with 79pts.
On that basis we would have to fall away drastically in the second half of the season not to achieve promotion this year. With some of the managers we’ve had that would still be possible, but not Bielsa I feel. The guy and his team have worked wonders so far, it’s not going to happen. Repeat after me “LEEDS UTD WILL BE PROMOTED THIS SEASON! ” Sleep tight Mighty 😎.

Bradley Dack
We got cooper berardi bamford all to come back as well and one day izzy brown may even play for us . He will be a new signing.

I'd love Solanke, just think Liverpool must rate him too high as they would have sent him on loan somewhere by now, he's been there a while. Really think Maupay would be a great signing.

All I would say is hoping MB and Orta are on their marks with transfers this window. Previous seasons have shown teams in the top six who invest in the playing squad by spending on proven, experienced players in the championship reap the rewards.
Hoping for GK, experienced MF, CB, and Maupay in attack.
Would send Harrison and Lewis Baker back to parent clubs, if our under 23 crop are before them on first team match day squad then why do we need them.
MB is spot on when he says players we bring in must be better than what we already have.
Never imagined the season we are having so far, brilliant, I think we will do alright against Forest tomorrow.
Here’s to another good run of results for us and getting behind the team for promotion.

Forest will be a tough test, I would like to see Aalpo be given a start alongside Pontus tomorrow and KP moved back into midfield. I do think Bielsa will again start with Harrison but can see Hernandez dropping down to the bench. Saying that it wouldn't surprise many if he started the game with the same team again.

Problem with Abraham and Barnes is they're both on season loans so unless they throw the toys out of the pram and change their loan club (TOWNSEND! ) then you won't have a chance on them until at least the Summer.
Hogan. I've never really seen him play much - is he that mobile or energetic? Would he offer anything different to Bamford?
If we was looking at a Villa player in that respect Kodjia was a real nuisance on the wing and has PACE that magic word which Leeds do not have. If Villa are looking to spend we may be able to pick him up for under 10m thoughts?
