11PM No news. Do they do this on purpose. Surely not. Nobody can be so cruel.

It shouldn't be this hard!

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:21:09
According to Phil Hay the deal is off despite the player passing his medical. It all sounds very bizzare.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:24:48
Only at leeds, we seem to be able to ship players out fast, but unlike other championship teams we seem to struggle to get player signings over the line. Can't the club at least come out and say it they have submitted a deal sheet, please give us fans a break!

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:26:06
I'm hearing its off sounds like Swansea have pulled out of the deal but needs confirming.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:27:44
The deal has collapsed! Pathetic.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:47:25
You can’t buy a player if the team refuses to sell him. Sounds like they were keeping their options open and keeping him was their preference. Not many clubs prepared to hold out when their player tells them he wants to go. Hoping that it will placate their fans in the face of the other losses.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2019 00:10:02
No team talk needed now for the Swansea match at ER!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2019 00:42:47
Swansea have pulled out of the deal, I just hope we tell them to FORK OFF at the end of the season when they try to flog him again. I'm sure they'll get a warm welcome when they come to ER 😠 wondering if Berardi will be fit in time to "mark" him out of the game 😁.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:03:12
Can only think that Dalby has no future at the club, which surprises me, as he looked great last year? Thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 23:49:36
He’s been overshadowed by Edmondson and Kun. Not been over impressed by him when I’ve seen him. But a loan doesn’t mean the end if it gives him regular playing time. Let’s see how he does.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:52:09
Game time

U23s not getting enough game time going out on long

Players need to play.

I get the impression that he's ready to play first team football but not yet at Championship level.

I believe we're entering into "Deal Sheet" mcextension territory. It means no bed time until Mc1am.

Swansea playing games?

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:04:00
Who was it that said footballers is the modern definition of slavery? Got to feel sorry for young James obviously wanted the move went all that way passed the medical and his club leaves him high and dry. Not easy for the young man hope it goes through now as much for him as us.

31 Jan 2019 23:06:11
The BBC think they ate.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:16:49
Would not be surprised if Swansea have pulled the rug from under this deal. Their fans were not happy with this and think the club might have realised they misjudged allowing James to leave. Feel for the lad if this is the case!

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 23:18:24
Stafford Don't care for the eating habits of that lot. How is that pertinent though? LUFC fans sweating buckets over James and you're concerned by the canteen at Shepherd Bush.

The BBC think Swansea ate the contract.

What the heck must Chris Woods be thinking watching Burnley sign a 38 year old beanpole. Hardly validation of his move. And who was that Charlie fella who used to play at left back for us - what happened to him (or that Sam at right back but that was a while ago) . Stick with the whites - onwards and upwards.

31 Jan 2019 22:09:02
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Totally!

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 22:10:48
And Vokes to Stoke, good deal for them IMHO 😊.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 22:13:35
Think woods is still his first or second choice

Vokes was down to 3rd/ 4th hence he wanted to move

Crouch won’t mind being on the bench so that makes sense too

Taylor has been playing quite regularly now

Think they should survive in the premiership for the reunion next year.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He is like a monk flogging himself. IMO makes it harder for the lads on the pitch allowing teams to set up against you. Rather he kept it till the day.

I see the blessed FA have charged Saha for improper conduct, I'm wondering if they are going to do the same with Ward-Prowse, he seemed quite happy with himself after managing to wind Saha up enough to get himself sent off, did you notice him fist-pumping when the red card came out?

31 Jan 2019 16:40:43
Not sure what the problem is with the terms of the deal so what if it’s£118k per game. IF he gets injured he would return to his parent club and we would have only have paid for the work he had provided given he’s a loanee.

Pay the £10 million straight off, and then he gets injured 🤷‍♂️ Plus when promotion is confirmed ( (and a bit of wings from Saiz) it will be chicken feed in Premier league terms.

God forbid we didn’t make it this year we have set the fee and if he’s the next Eddie Gray we may be more than happy to buy him still. Is it me? I think it’s smart, and blooming excellent.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 17:18:35
I reckon a loan (with a fee) to buy is good for us, he's going to be a Leeds player at some stage no matter what happens.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 17:34:22
Is the Saiz deal a loan with an obligation to buy?

Agree1 Disagree0

One Swansea fan saying it’s a step backwards for James.
Hmmm not sure about that.
I’m liking the look of this lad.

Hope Bielsa puts James and Clarke on bench for Saturday against Canaries then makes double sub bringing them on at half-time. Last thing full-backs want to see. We can then romp to victory coming from behind. Woof! 🍌😉🥅💯.

After it's done. If it's done. I hope someone will come out and give us the gospel on its cost. The latest is a 2mill loan (£180,000 per game) with a view to buying in the summer. Hope it's just £180,000/ game as, with our luck he will do his knee in first game.

Well whatever it is, you’re definitely on it George! And you don’t find more positive than me on here.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 14:03:17
It's happening! Deal seems sensible to me, doesn't gamble all on promotion. I wonder if we have a get out clause even if we do get promoted but he plays no real role in it! Don't think that will happen, gives him a real reason to perform . With the flexibility of Roberts and Hernadez, without even mentioning the myth they call izzie!, he strengthens the wings.

If we can get and then keep key players fit, we are going to have an exciting attacking force!

Would still have been very happy with Cavaleiro loan and Andy King from Liecster on a possible free. Don’t know a great deal at all about the Daniel James lad, just hope he lives up to expectations.
If he’s wanting to come and play for us then good luck to him for remainder of season and for however long he wears our shirt.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 15:54:22
Andy king, decent player but we buy younger players with a view to develop

Can’t see who we would leave out for king to play. He’s not better than the players we already have.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 17:28:10
If Bub wants James then he'll do for me, Cavaleiro would have been nice as well though 😀.

Agree3 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 12:12:06
What are the chances of us not getting James and bringing someone completely different in that nobody was talking about?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 12:35:48
Why do we never do "straight forward"? Complicated transfers on the last day etc. If we go up it will be by a margin of 1 point won in the last five minutes of the final game.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 12:57:26
Your right Tory.
Promptly followed by a 1pt deduction for spygate.

For me this year feels more like nice to have rather must have. I’m sure more than one transfer will fall foul of the weather too, not sure how simple a journey would be for James from Swansea to Leeds? That must be factored into the equation for the clubs to reach agreement, so maybe not a cocoa and slippers end to our transfer business this year.

Also have a VERY good feeling about Mateusz 2 👍.

31 Jan 2019 14:29:58

Morning Gents, 1st Time poster here but been reading this for a while, what makes me Post this cold morning is the fact we have not been linked with Charlie Austin, Both Stoke and Blackburn have now been linked, i'm sure he would score the goals needed to get us up, any thoughts lads.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 10:02:32

Oh. You mean opinion on Austin. No. Not for me. Just don’t like him. Like bambi. Not my cup of tea.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 10:12:33
Morning Northern. It's an odd one. From an angle it looks as if we are linked with everyone, but from another, at times we seem not interested in the usual suspects. I am now bored a of the Swansea lark. I hope we get him, but I am confident that if not, Brown and Bamford etc will bang some in. MOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 10:56:18

31 Jan 2019 17:25:54
Blunts seem overloaded with Warnockesque forwards, Madine, Hogan plus the others they already have. Wonder if we'll see much hoofball from Mr Wilder's side.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 08:37:22
As predicted, looks like our transfer day business will be determined by Swansea's need to sell. They have 2/ 3 other loan deals and sales pending and I would imagine that this is the one they would like to avoid. Nice to have something to look out for on deadline day!

So far it's been an interesting championship window. None of the challengers seems to have gone out and taken a massive gamble. La parra to boro and Kiko, two of the key moves so far, unless you include Ashley to Derby. Have I missed anyone?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 07:55:55
So at half time Liverpool groundsmen clear the part of the pitch they will be attacking in the second half, but not the other end.
Pundits (Rio Ferdinand) think it's ok, because you do whatever you can to get an advantage when you're going for the title! 🙈
So they don't have a good faith agreement in the Premier League then?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2019 08:36:42

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 07:37:07
Which injury returns? . Berardi and Dallas have had further setbacks, can we really rely on Bamford and Brownfir the run in, had less than 2 hours out of Bamford all season and zero from Brown, Biesla said he would like a 10 and a winger, we seem to have all our eggs in the James basket unless something happens that’s been kept quiet, be interesting to see if pablo plays on Saturday, it’s been kept very quiet re the injury he picked up at Rotherham. I would worry for us if he were to miss 3-4 games .

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2019 08:00:58
Aus I think Brown needs more game time in u23 matches before included in first team. Similar Bamford, but I don’t think we will see either for couple of weeks at least! Would be great to have them now!
