If and so far a big IF - we are selling McCormack and buying Alf = I'd take that, especially if RM wants to go - let him go to his boyhood club with well wishes - would take the Reading keeper also

Who started this garbage about Ross leaving? Anyone can sell a house it doesn't mean they are moving out of area. Also Ross is twice the player ALF is, that would not be a good deal at all.

Whats the point selling Mac and getting another in, we want one to play alongside him, were not going to sell our best striker are we,

Amazing Charlton takeover took days and ours is still on going and the FA need more additional documentation looks like its going to take time again?

Charltons took days, an American guy was in for them a couple of weeks ago but he turned them down then the Belgium guy came in. It took about a week

Josh harris the American billionaire who was set to take charlton over rejected their proposal on the 15th December and then the Belgium guy would have came in a week later then finished today.

{Ed003's Note - And being a wealthy businessman he took them over without doing any sort of due diligence and the FA thought he seems nice and ratified it within a few days,good lord.}

They obviously got things sorted in the two week period. It was astonishing for GFH to take so long in buying the club. It very rarely takes months. Gerald krasnier said it took less than a week for ken bates to take over

And look how great ken bates turned out to be.

If I were buying even a bag of crisps from our former owner I'd have spent an age on the due diligence, wouldn't you?

Obviously the men buying Leeds don"t have a lot of money compared to the yank who turned down Charlton all the FA had to do was to look at the Yanks bank balance to show he had the money, where as these men buying Leeds have to have additional documentation ie do you have your bank statements please.

Leeds are being taken over by a consortium, whereas Charlton have been taken over by an indivdual. The number of parties involved adds to the timeframe. It has nothing to do with how much money they have

Rumour is that Ross McCormack has just sold his house, Now I'm not saying he's moving clubs (or I hope not cause where fu**ed without him) but he's definatley moving house, make what you want of that.

To all the persons saying we should get rid of White. What the **** has he done wrong?! He was replaced for no reason whatsoever by Steven Warnock under Warnock just after signing a new contract. YOU ALL BEGGED HIM TO STAY HE COULD HAVE GONE TO DERBY OR CELTIC BUT NO, he is loyal and a good player with pace which is what we need. Oh and that time all of you lot where bum licking Byram for containing Bale in the cup. WHITE WAS PLAYER AGAINST BALE MOST OF THAT GAME AND IT WAS WHEN BYRAM SWITCHED TOTTENHAM SCORED FROM PLAY DOWN BALES WING. You lot know jack. Watched White since his debut. He is not a forward and he is defensively naive. Has not progressed. He has not recovered from been savaged by the Arsenal attack a few seasons back when had to be subbed at half time. - same game as Kisnorbo was injured I think. Not even average at the moment. Might progress at another club but too much pressure here. Warnock and Pugh much better.

Are you his girlfriend? One good game a season doesn't warrant playing regularly . If you know more than anyone else surely you would realise that warnock and Pugh both have better games more consistently!

He couldn't have gone to Celtic as they never made a bid. He only agreed to sign a new contract when it was clear no Prem League club wanted him.

Why is everyone Raving or happy about Cameron Stewart what's he ever done he isn't what we need. Where a premiership club he won't cut it there.

But we aren't a premier league & haven't been for the last 10 years. Can't say I've seen much of Stewart so I'll reserve judgement.

He is young, Has pace, Can finish

Has pace and can finish? Might be fast but finish. 4 goals in 84 games, mmmmm!

Heard a pal talking about a young scottish forward called Stevie May apparently he is really good and scores a good amount of goals for a player of his age, it also would be good to have a decent forward to rotate with Smith and even McCormack when they are tired.

{Ed039's Note - He is doing the business up here for St Johnstone, big bruiser of a striker but more than decent and can play a wee bit as well)

Hearts fan here.

Stevie May at St J is a great player. Bustling and never stops. Good player and seems to score regularly against us.

For a club like Leeds, out of the moneybags Premiership, and maybe watching the pennies a bit - Scotland is a fire sale.

Dundee United have a clutch of great youngsters - Gauld (MF) Souttar (CH) Mackay-Steven (W) Armstrong (LB).

My club have a few that we'll be lucky to hang onto. Holt (MF) Paterson (MF) Walker (W) McHattie (LB) McGhee (CH).

But if it's a centre forward - May at St J is as good as any up here. Although the boy Billy McKay at Inverness is some finisher too.

On another note - just to wish big Zal and Leeds all the best. He'll always be a legend up here. Great guy and solid defender.
