Not so much if but when snodgrass gets sold by bates on the cheap how are we supposed to fill nearly a full midfield hope bates and Grayson have a plan or were stuffed selling our best players yet again.

I don't know why people keep repeating this. When was the last time we sold one of our top players on the cheap?

Anyone think if we reject too many offers for Snodgrass, he will hand in a transfer request?

I really hope to god he stays, we've got to get this squad settled!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

No he isn't like that. He's not money orientated like a lot of players and will show loyalty, plus hes sensible and knows Leeds can get to the premiership and want to be in it. He's also played at Norwich and it doesn't compare to Elland Road

Agree4 Disagree1

Norwich offers him chance to show his talents in prem why would he stay with us.we are not a big club as some suggest we are in for more tears next season we can't compete anymore

'Also, according to mirrorfootball.com norwich have made a second £5m bid for snodgrass!'

Dude they haven't made the offer look at the title: 'Norwich will HAVE TO RAISE BID for Leeds star to £5million' So basically what they're saying is if they offer us 5mill he will probably go but I just can't see it happening coz that means we will have to sign 3 midfielders if killa, johnson, & snoddy leave we will end up wasting money on midfield and have the same defence as last season

MOT!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Simon Grayson will block any transfer for Snodgrass. . he will convince Snoddy to stay at least one more season to try and get Leeds up !. . .I don't think Snoddy will sign a new contract with Leeds tho and if we don't go up. .he will leave on a free like the rest of some of our player have exercised, Beckford, Johnson and Killa. . . !

We need to be very careful. .next summer , Max & Kasper are out of contract ! !

Leeds are taking a look at German Midfielders Julian Schuster and Henrik Ernst of Freiburg and Hannover respectively after both were released by their clubs this summer. I work introducing young released German players to other European clubs. I know that two top Danish clubs and a Swedish Club are interested in Schuster but Leeds are currently showing early signs of completing the deal quickly.

Both mid 20s. Ernst with 2 first team appearances in his whole career and now released. Schuster with nearly 60 looks more interesting.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Expect to see both players on trail and playing against Farsley and Bradford PA next month. From what I have seen Schuster could be a handy replacement for Johnson. It's expected that Hodgson and WBA are pre-pared to announce Johnson's signing in the next day or 2.

Norwich likely to continue their chase for Robert Snodgrass with a 4 million pound bid if their initial offer of 3.5 million is rejected.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Norwich will not make another offer as they know leeds will not sell him whatever the offer is

Agree5 Disagree5

Norwich arn't stupid. we know that Leeds are playing the hold to Ransom game here, personally I think £1.5mil is about all he's worth and there are much better players out there we will be going for now that we have dumped the bid, Enjoy another season in the chumpionship, if you need any lessons on how to get Back to Back promotion the first one is get a decent manager

Simon Grayson will be forced to cash in on Robert Snodgrass, with Norwich making a offer worth up to 4 Million for him, to fund new signings,

Grayson's hopes to replace Snoddy with one of George Boyd, Elliott Bennett or Anthony Pilkington with still large chunk of the Snodgrass' transfer fee left to improve the defence and center midfield.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If only it worked like that.

People seem to assume that if you get £4m for a player you can buy 4 x £1m players. You can't.

Sell Snoddy for £4m and you've got £4m cash and a small saving in wages.

Each time you sign a player you'll have to pay the player a hefty signing on fee as well as an agent's fee. Both of these would need to come from the £4m.

Then you've got to find the wages from somewhere. Selling snoddy wouldn't free up wages for 4 decent players would it? Besides which its unlikely any player likely to command a fee or be in demand could be accomodated in Leeds's low pay structure.

My guess is that selling Snoddy would equate to getting in one decent player at best, and selling Delph didn't even equate to that!

Believable3 Unbelievable2

We don't need to replace snoddy, nunez is ready to step in.

we could use the money for like 2 defenders which IS what we need. there is enough quality free mid's outhere we could snap up just need to get them, qpr won the league not spending too much, why can't we

Agree2 Disagree3

All this talk is irrelevant as Snodgrass isn't going anywhere.

Norwich HAVE made a 3.5 million bid for Snodgrass, which has been rejected. if they come back with anything in excess of 5 million, expect him gone, leaving space in the first XI for Nunez.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Selling for £5m probably equates to being able to get in one maybe two £1m players at best. And that's assuming the transfer money doesn't dissapear the same way as all the previous transfer money since administration has.

If the player doesn't want to go I wouldn't sell him.

Agree3 Disagree1

I could imagine he would, premier league, international career, working with Lambert who is A. a talented manager and B. Scottish.

Agree2 Disagree2

We aren't selling our better players. Having said that, anything above £5 million for Snodgrass would be excellent business in my opinion. He's overrated and doesn't look fit enough.

Looks like snodders is going to norwich. I know the 3.5million bid was turned down but they have got the money and will probably double his wages. Its a shame really because when we go up next season and norwich come down. He will be back in the championship anyway. 1 love simon grayson.

Not sure if you mean July - though he said the same last year when all the half decent players were getting snapped up by other clubs leaving us to sign the equivalents of the fat wheezy kids that were last to get picked in PE.

Mind you, wouldn't surprise me if he meant January. .

Jack Cork has been reduced to 750k by Chelsea and two Championship sides have agreed to pay it. That means he will cost 750k more than KB is willing to pay so we will be playing against Jack Hobbs again next season

We paid 750k for O'Brien don't see why we wouldn't pay the same amount for a younger better version of him.
