The disgraceful treatment of Redfearn and Thompson looks as though it may cost MC ownership of LUFC. How different things could have been. He only has himself to blame. In the meantime well done to Evans and the lads tonight!

The truth about the Thommo suspension still has not come to light. That more than the event itself I would say is haunting Cellino and exposes him to harsh criticism from fans.

Don't think he gives a pooh bout Thompson or redders or what we think.

Wootton + Bellusci in defence = Goals conceeded.
There are exceptions to ever rule, thankfully.

George mate you're starting to get boring.
Surprised you didn't say "i told you so"!
Play two strikers you said and the goals will flow. Right? Not one goal from open play by either forward in 4 games.
Formation formation formation. Zzzzz.

What I really want to say to you would not make it past editing. It therefore places me in an awkward position. Screw it. You decide. Would you prefer I not contribute? Because if you like I don't have to post on this site again.

Cork

1. Did not say that
2. A goal did flow
3. We won
4. Clean sheet - this is true benefit of playing a non weird system
5. First victory at home in 8 months. So you have Redders playing weirdly once Thommo got canned, Rosler playing weirdly because he was weird then a straight talking plain speaking shooter for a manager gets job done. Is there a pattern? Is there a reason? No! It's coincidence.

Would you like me to come to Ireland?

I fear for the future if the democratic LFU scrape control at Elland Road. Lord only knows how decisions will be made. You only have to look on here (or anywhere) to see the multitude of opinions proferred when matters are discussed. As for the line ups we would need a very large team sheet to cover the permutations if LFU got involved. It would be 5mins to kick off before they sorted out the back four. As fans we all know we can manage Leeds United much better than any incumbent.
I also do not want to see any group with shallow pockets having to service debts incurred just so they can run the team. If they are truly Fans then let them wake up to the real world and be prepared to stand aside (for the good of their beloved club) and let other more substantial suitors show their hand.

This is the beginning of the end!

Good luck then Jay.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 17:31:03
Kind of agree Jay - doesn't look good but got to stay in for better or worse. Think unless they got a big backer hidden away we will be even more underfunded than with GFH.

Come on SE get a performance on the pitch at least, let's hope the players don't leave anything out there and play for the shirt for once.

MOT - always in can't leave no matter what.

03 Nov 2015 17:40:41
Could not possibly agree however bad things get. I'm not sure they are scrimping and scraping. If they can raise the money and have a viable business plan then they deserve a chance. Why put the mockers on before they have even had a go?

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 21:52:53
Cannot see where we can go with this kind of buyout, you ask fans to put up money to buy the club, this will just snowball until we are in administration again, this Thwaites guy sounds like a complete idiot to me, just get used to championship or worse if they takeover, I work in business and no fans ownership will get you champions league ever. It will also put potential suitors off coming in to buy us with these in charge, old saying too many cooks. Great win tonight.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 nov 2015 14:46:25
we have games coming up that we should win . mc not watching but he will get banned anyway so clever move then blame fans first . b4 fa do . he wants to do well but goes at it softly softly . sure he said whenhe 1st came here i can afford to loss 10m a year . well pity you don't spend 10m a year . then might be different story.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

03 Nov 2015 15:19:49
He probably spent more than that in first year getting us to the point where we can afford to actually buy players without going over the criteria set out in the fair play rules and end up with an embargo.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 16:54:36
Well with MC not there tonight nor me (away from home this week) then as we did well when MC not around before and the fact I haven't seen us win since ipswich (only missed 1 home game) and we never win when I'm there just hoping those 2 things bring us some luck!

We are going to need it as we ain't beaten them for around 17 games I think, I will keep in touch but not going to let it piss up my night for once when we under perform again.

I have no idea what team will be, front 2 have to play again as no option, defense guess mad dog Bellusi to come in (he may play well) otherwise defense same even if SB has been pants last couple of games and for me does not deserve to be in team on form.

midfield I guess dunno anymore apart from cook Murphy awful, Mowett almost as bad, would try Phillips I think with I guess Dallas (who has been average last 2-3 games) and I guess the Whiz but to be honest I just don't have any confidence in our midfield at the mo.

Good luck guys.

Always worries me when we go for players who can't get a game even with a poor team whether or not its a premier one. Fine if a player has gone down the pecking order of a team that is on the up with new recruits but Sunderland, Wolves? Buckley, Dallas Bridcott (if he comes) ; Adeyemi. There's usually a good reason. They are not that good or they have lost whatever they had.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

03 Nov 2015 13:16:56
Brentford were reluctant sellers.
Cardiff fans were vexed.
Bridcutt can't make grade in PL. You prefer to raid League Two? We play in Championship dude.

Agree3 Disagree1

03 Nov 2015 13:53:17
Max gradel hardly got in Leicester first team but look how he turned out. Doesn't always mean there not good players.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 13:55:24
All the teams those players have come from are currently at a higher level than us (league position), so what if they can't make their respective sides, does that make them poor players? How many of our current crop would make Sunderland's, Wolves, Brentford's or even Cardiff's starting eleven? Answer. Not many!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 14:38:38
The point is they were destined to make and didn't or the desire went or both. It worries me because they are not like the Gradels or Smiths. The had their chance and blew it. Just because it worries me doesn't meamn they I think thew will fail it means the chance is that much greater. I prefer players who have talent and still have to prove it. Then the manager can use his judgement more effectively. More often than not players showing class in the lower levels can go on to make good. Effort and desire won't be a problem. Sometimes it is with players who think they are on the way down. Its getting a balance. Smith made more effort than Wood and seemed to have a better outlook and the product was better also. Smith saw himself moving up Wood is having to move down. Buckley is another case. Just an example there are lots of similar cases around. Its rekindling the desire that's the issue. Leeds at the moment is not an inspirational place particularly for those who have had a shot at the big time and have been rejected. Its never all or nothing but at the moment getting players from poor underperforming teams is very risky. Bridcott is another Brighton/Sunderland player. I Hope he hasn't lost it and Evans judgement is better than his predecessors.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 15:22:50
So instead of lucking for talent we should just sign players other clubs don't want and hope they come good again. that's what conference teams do.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 16:36:56

Talent you seek? I hear Raheem Sterling, Smalling, Stones and Pogba are very handy.

Let's see if you are on the verge of spotting the flaw in the plan.
