I really did think that Rosler was the man to take us forward but now I'm not so sure.
I think we have a much better squad than last season but are doing just as badly (if not worse).
I don't like sacking managers (sorry coaches) after such a short time, but maybe it needs to happen sooner rather than later, before this season becomes another right off!
I am the wrong side of 50 and I am worried I will never see my beloved team back in the big time before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
God I've got to stop drinking brandy it gets me so depressed!

One of our many problems is lack of creativity and balance in midfield. It's time for Dawson. Someone has to ping the ball around. No one does that at the moment.

Agree Georgie its midfield that's not doing the job. 60% possession and nothing to show . Botaka needs to start and give Phillips, or Dawson, the attacking midfield role. Murphy and Mowatt take too long to pick a pass out. Ady as holding midfielder. We also have Sloth who is experienced for his age and Bianchi when he is fit so have the players. Rosler needs to sort out who is best. No good expecting it all to fall into place because we got some wingers. Midfield need to make the telling pass and its not happening. We let teams come onto us which puts pressure on defence, Needs more passion in midfield, need to be up and down the pitch, full back should not be one on one with opposing winger with midfielder ten yards behind him.When opposition attacking should only be Wood left up front everyone else should be doing a job.

It was a very disappointing game yesterday we had a great deal of possession but created very little threat to the opponents goal. One of the main reasons is the fact that our midfield is so weak. Why does Rosler chose to use Cook our most dynamic player as a defensive player when he has a purpose made man in Adeyeme. Also why does he feel that Mowatt can provide service to the attackers he is slow and lethargic and frustrates the life out of me, we must have better players at the club than him at the moment. Murphy also does not win any accolades he hardly performs well in midfield four. Looking at our bench yesterday had three defenders one winger one midfield and one attacking player on it. We were the home team, that bench to me looked very defensive. I think that Roslers mentality is all wrong for games at Elland Road and that mentality is being preached so much to the players they are playing with more fear than flair. One bright light in the game was the introduction of Jordan Botaka what a breath of fresh air a player with lots of tricks in is locker his fellow team mates need to take a leaf out of his book.

Good post EKW. It is telling that the player showing the flair is a newbie at the club. Bamba Cook Mowatt and Dallas have all been off their game last few weeks. Mowatt really all season of course. Is Rosler a flair preventer?

Def we got new players settling in and he's tried his system and a good coach will realise its not the best option so will change, he has to attack teams in this division which to me means we can not play Mowatt and Murphy in same team. Was hoping he would use squad more and give young lads a rest now and then but presently doing what every other coach has done past ten years and stick with same idea same players whether they are performing or not. Mowatt should have been out three games ago, Wood if not hundred per cent should be on bench, need to have faith in squad, hopefully he will change things

Botaka and Anti gave us a glimmer of hope.
Beradi was excellent and my MOM just ahead of Sol the rest today were 3 out of 10.

Ok I will tell you what I have been told George.
Massimo has been looking at lots of replacement coaches for the last two weeks.
Roster won't be around much longer as clearly the players are not wanting to play for him.
I think it's a disgrace as our fans deserve better.

Its getting embarrassing now, fortunately I have missed todays game as I am in London for the weekend, I have been to 5 games this season and we haven't won any of them, was beginning to think I was a Jona, thing is we factually aren't very good.

George your posts are normally bang on. But you said at the start of the season this squad would be coming in around 9th, I think. You never mentioned formation, even though we all new 433 was Roslers thinking.
It has nothing to do with formation, just average to poor performances with one or two good displays. If we get picked off playing 443 just imagine how much worse things could be playing 442.
Anyway my point is the team basically has little direction at the moment but it is early days and things will pick up.
And as for survivor wanting Radebe because he has his badges.

Just read the article where Cellino says he'd buy back Elland Road before buying out GFH.
Surely if we get back into the Premier League then the value of GFHs shares would go up and it would cost him more, whereas the price of the stadium wouldn't. (Or am I being too simplistic?)
On a related point, who actually owns Elland Road?

Think silv is a constant worry. He has flapped every single game I've seen. About 5 so far. I would def drop him. And dg you are right. Why hasn't practice improved him. He may also be making the back 4 nervous and off there game. Good shot stopper yes. But useless at crosses and you tend to get more crosses than good solid shots on target per game. So bench for me!
