Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Just heard we offered Sol Bamba for free in the Last few hours of transfer deadline no one wanted him probably because of wages but why the hell did we sign him in the first place and give him £20,000 a week?

Because we had him on loan and his performances while on loan were decent. Soon after he signed permanently it was a gradual decline from him. Don't know about the 20k a week. Imo it was probably more like 13k.

If he was on 13 to 20k a week then respect to him for leaving.
He could have quite easily seen out his contract until the end of the season and pocketed the dosh.
Good luck to him in whatever he does in the future.
Unless we paid up his contract, then forget everything I've just said. The money grabbing toe rag!

George is spot on. When he was on loan, he was awesome. Hard to believe really but can remember back then everyone agreed that signing him permanently was a priority. Soon as he did one of his legs fell off!

He looked like a world beater when we first got him. His first half dozen games he looked like our saviour.

Team looks well balanced now though, just need the forwards to fire.

Bamba played well when on loan, and after signing declined and between him, cat and g/ b cost so many points .
However I wish him all the best for the future .
It's as much down to coaching that we cannot defend against set plays and corners .
Barkley has done well he is 1st choice, hoping Pilot is the force the video's show and not another waste .

"If he was on 13 to 20k a week then respect to him for leaving. "

Bamba is the same as everyone else, excelled whilst on loan and then sat back when purchased.

Many of these players are happy to play for money and then move on, and do the same again.

They owe nothing to Leeds and will be off again next season.

Have a feeling the signing of O Kane is going to be one of the best we have made. He's going to give us that bit of toughness in midfield that we have been lacking for some time.

I agree wex lad but we need someone to replace Wood. We need goals and therefore a goalscorer. Ant can't do it on his own.

I don't see what the fuss is about Bamba/ Bellusci. Ayling can play at CB and do a better job than either of the other two. We have two decent fullbacks to cover Ayling.
Its in attack that we are struggling.
Wood couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo!

Whereas Becchio could put the ball on a sixpence in the goalmouth. Some players have better radars than others. If only we had better. That's all we're missing.

I said that once, but had it edited to backside.
Bloody favouritism! 😉.

Question for BIGE and others in the know (not you Jeff) who watch the yoof teams. With all the talent in the development squad, do you think any of them are knocking on the door for a place in the match day squad? I see Wilks is getting good reviews and what about Stokes, Mulhern, McKay?

Why are you excluding Survivor from providing useful intel? Don't you think that's possibly a bit rude? Only the other day I heard Survivor rescued a Leeds youth player from a nightmare he was dreaming. Survivor got inside his dream and prevented the player from being consumed alive by a deep swirling nebula in the outer reaches of the solar system all while witnessing a burning orphanage which Survivor managed to put out the fire simultaneously. Not a bad effort from Survivor considering all of this took place as he was on the phone long distance teaching Lucas Radebe's youngest how to speak Afrikaans.

So MM you might want to reconsider your stance.

Stokes and Mulhern I can see within the first team by the end of this season. There is also a player called Vann I think could be in the first team soon.

Georgy I thought you and Jeff were pals?
Not too long ago you were exchanging pleasantries.

Cork

We were. I stuck up for him a fair bit but he was skating on thin ice after several posts which didn't pan out then the Taylor thing and I lost my patience.

Wilks is a talent but only 17 got the skills though I would give him till end of season. Stokes should be an option in my opinion. Vann decent and also Tom Pearce. Lot of new faces, ones that caught my eye are Whitehouse Shaughnessy but only seen yhem once so can't really say. But we have got Romario Viera now Ronaldos brother, let's hope he is as good.
