Another win for the under 23s today, unbeaten start to the season. Jack Clarke scored both goals in a 2-1 win and had another strong performance.

Other good news from the game was Aapo Halme played a full game as CB.

Spaniard Expect Clarke to be named on the bench for the first-team before the end of the year. When you assess all the areas of the football club this is the strongest we've looked for 17 years in my opinion.

I agree Georgie! What I really like is how connected the two squads of players are as well through Corberan and other coaches. The philosophy of football is running throughout the club. There is a clutch of under 23 players that could make it through and important that there is the space and opportunity to do it. I think Clarke has bags of skill and can score. I think he needs to work on the fitness side of things to fit Bielsas mould, but I would have no worries if he was on the bench. That’s also one of the other differences about this year, we have more strength and depth in the under 23s to help us out if needed.

It may sound a stupid question but I’ve not really followed any of the ones for the future. I noticed that the u23’s played a home game at guiseley a few weeks ago. Do they play all of their home games there?

Good question Lucas, they play at Guisley, Thorpe arch and they have to have a certain number at Elland Road. Guisley is a great night out and the next game is against Bristol at Elland Road, this Friday 3pm. £3 entry. It’s definately worth going if you get the chance.

Cheers Spanish. I've tried to find a fixture list online, can't find one anywhere. Do you know where I can get one from?

Lucas, a website called flash scores has all U23's fixtures, results, league tables etc on. Good little website to be fair, the team are looking good throughout.

Well done Samo, beat me to it. If you just search for under 23 fixtures online, you get a lot of choices. There is a list buried deep on the official site as well in the news section.

cheers for the posts good to see what fans think of under 23s as better than just seeing results so to speak.

looks like we got some 'ones for the future' maybe VO was not the fool many have claimed him to be, to think some wanted him sacked without giving him a chance.

Noticed most of the young ones doing well are local or plucked from nearby clubs. Think VOs international signings still have a lot to prove. A lot gone out on loans so let's hope they can prove themselves to be special. Think most of credit should go to the coaching staff who are doing a great job.

they have been in the news section of the official site, but this year I just do an internet search for Leeds Utd under 23 fixtures and a number of lists come up.

Last year the official site was a bit more structured for the under 23s but they seem to have changed it.

Bige, real mixture in terms of where they come from, I think Clarke is homegrown but others bought young from, York, Forest green, morecambe, Leyton Orient and then those from abroad.

Yes i know Spanish but just saying the home grown talent seem to be doing better than the boys from Juve and Barcelona etc. Not saying they are any more talented just seem to be developing quicker. Maybe a culture thing need more time. Clarke, Edmondson, Kamwa all moved up, KunT not made that final step up yet. Sure some will Hame looks ok, rated Sarkic and Machuca but both out on loan, which can be a good or bad thing as we all know.

Just a moan i brought a membership once again and can't get to an away game. I agree loyalty should be rewarded but not everyone can get to games every week so you don't build up your attendance figures. Anyone else having the same problem with the membership?

ST holder and not too pleased at all with the"away attendance tracker" especially as it carried on from last season. I travel over 100 miles to home games so away games closer to home and I can't get a ticket : (.

I live 300 miles from Leeds so i don't get to as many games as I would like, so i get the membership to try and get to closer games. It's not good.

It just means that it's the same people going to the away games because nobody else is even considered.

Does anybody know what the situation is with Kun? Is he injured? Expected to seeing him pushing this year.

very highly rated in football manager goes on to be very good so I am expecting at least 15 goals from him this season.

He’s still with the under 18s but drafted into under 23 squads as well. Came on against QPR at the end of the game last week but wasn’t in the squad today.

Glad we got IZZY BROWN looks like the team is now got a lot of young vibrant home grown players with a sprinkle of foreign talent . A good balance . I feel bielsa has been amazing in keeping the best players and getting rid of the dead wood. Really dunno if brown has been brought in as a starter or a squad player . It's hard to change the first team at moment . However the way we play we will need to utilise the subs bench in games and rotate the team. I think Tyler Roberts will probably be the one to drop out with the arrival of brown.

Brown won't be ready until October. Sounds exaggerating but I think he has the capacity to be world-class especially under Bub's tutelage.

Hi guys, new to this site. Loved reading all of your disagreements so I thought it was about time I joined in.
I think Bielsa has got the boys believing in themselves this season and there is definitely a real team ethic showing. When you can get Hernandez and Saiz going box to box to get the ball you are doing something right. Izzy will be ready just in time for when the weather changes and Saiz starts to struggle with the heavier pitches.
Does anyone else think we might have wasted some money on Bamford? He might come good when he is up to speed with the way we play but i am not so sure?

hello mutley and welcome

i think bamford is great buy young and can score not done bad at leeds so far just roofe hot form is miking him look poor by comparision i still fancy bamford as our top scorer with about 20 come may.

Hi Mut, think bamford will do well for us, needs a bit more game time and the service.

Remember how long it took for Roofe to convince people as a striker, Bamfords already shown some good touches. He will benefit from being part of Bielsas group and needs to make sure he is ready to make the most of his cameos and opportunity when he gets it.

Think Martys right about the 49'rs drip feeding investment in in order to take over . Though Rads will want the club value higher for sale purposes, premier league value. Jan window need striker and CH, with any speedy wingers a bonus.
