Looking at the few Benendic vids online, looks like he's a left footer. so I'm thinking Bianchi on the right and this chap possibly on the left and then Doukara upfront who I believe has looked impressive but maybe not a 20 goal a season man. Sorensen sounds great too. Fully behind Cellino doing things the right way a bit sporadic but seems to genuinely care and want the best. Can't way to get down to Elland Road this season. Just need a talisman, energetic young striker and ill be ecstactic, who that is tbh not sure. Hoping Poleon can step up but can't see hope I'm wrong as I do like him.

Benedicic is the second player we have signed on loan from AC Milan. The first. Roque Junior. doh!
MM
Well he can't be any worse can he?
Still gobsmacked that he was a WC winner. he made this years Brazilian back 4 look like world beaters.
Worse than Brolin!

To sum up the day;
- Benedicic signed on loan with view to a permenant deal.
- Sorensen to be completed tomorrow with a loan fee of 380,000 to be payed and an option to buy at 3.5million.
- Delort has never been a target.

You beauty MC. Benedicic done deal. Looks a very promising player. Sorensen nearly over the line too.
Just a 20 gaol a season striker, another CB and 6 wingers left on the shopping list.
In all honesty, these two signings look the part.
And I really do think someone at the club up front will step up to the mark.
I'm hoping Morison will come good, he's not as bad as some people make out and with a decent team behind him you never know. MC is no fool and he seems to be backing him.
I think a couple of wingers for plan b will be fine. I think diamond with Bianchi, Murphy and Benedicic with Austin as the holding midfielder is the way forward.
Maybe Alf, but not on the left side. Good centre forward at this level if he gets decent service.

Hi Andy, I Haven't received mine either, so I called the ticket office and the said there was a Backlog and they were going to try to get them all out this week, she said it wouldn't affect buying tickets.
Regards DJ

Carbone confirms his departure from leeds due to family reasons but there are rumours he had a big fall out with MC any one heard anything about it?

I was at the game on Saturday. took my 4 yr old to his first game. I have to say the new lads look good. Bianchi is cool on the ball and always finds space. Doukara is powerful fast & hungry. Silvestri wasn't really tested enough for me to have a honest opinion but he has presence and marshaled his box well. the real surprise for me was Tonge! he played very well. chased the ball, never lost it, had great movement and set up the first goal very nicely indeed. everyone else looked calm and composed on the ball and passed quickly and accurately. things are looking very promising guys even if it was only against Dundee utd! they were no push overs!

I said to my bro the exact same thing about Tonge - wish he was 10 years younger

Cellino is waiting to receive the £800,000 that the West Yorkshire Police owes us in overpayments made by the club to the force for services rendered at home games between 2009 and 2012. He will then use the money to help buy back ER. Once this is sorted he is aiming to bring in four players before the Millwall game.
Who made the link between any cash the club get from WY Police and the buy-back of Elland Road?
Two seperate issues not connected in anyway, shape or form!
MC did not own the club in 2009 so is the money his or not?
Priority must be the players first, surely!
04 Aug 2014 17:03:17
Andy, its not his whoever owns the club. It belongs to the club. However, there will have been a provision in the buy out agreement what happens to litigation receipts covering someone's former tenure. What complicates it slightly is that originally this will have been a Bates issue not GFH (Bates was the one who began to dispute things with the WYP). I am sure the lawyers struck something fair as ownership transferred.
George
My worst fears PAPPA SMURF still bleeding us dry ;(
GIW I would have thought that this was all part of the financial mess that delayed MC in buying the Club. Any monies due from WYP cannot, at this stage, be due to Papa.

Whilst I am happy that MC is buying back ER, I am just hoping that it is not a separate deal i.e. it will be owned by the club as part of the club and not a separate entity. I have been a fan of MC from the start and think he has turned our financial situation around and invested heavily and for that I can only thank him. I can't help thinking he has his head screwed on and the purchase of ER would be a useful bargaining chip, should he ever wish to move on! Maybe I can't let go of the painful memories and it all seems too good to be true atm. I wonder if he would consider selling off shares of the ground to the fans - he can re invest in the club and we get a bit of security - thoughts please!
As he has stated that he is using the money from the sale of RMC, the ground will belong to the football club not MC . He is a very shrewd business man and if in the future he does decide to sell then he will get a premium on as he is selling a club that owns it's own ground .
04 Aug 2014 06:55:17
Fairly certain the club will own the ground. Its not as if Cellino needs to hide the asset. He isn't cuddly ken or gfh. He also recognizes it will improve market value of club as a whole. Promised land here we come.
It's academic really. As MC owns the football club he owns everything that goes with it. All the buy-back means is that the stadium is owned by the same person who owns the team (MC), and not some faceless company somewhere in the Caribean.
04 Aug 2014 19:20:37
Not if he bought it under a different company name! Maybe I am just in shock with all the positive stuff - just waiting to wake up from the dream😉
Think the agreement in place would only allow Leeds United to buy back the stadium but it is technically possible the ground could then be sold on to a third party once back in control of the club.
